Abstract: According to the current application of human-computer interaction interface is more and more complex requirements, implementation method of μC/GUI Chinese font based on the ARM embedded operating system with CortexTM-M4F kernel is designed, to download the font by PC and embedded system USB to expand FLASH memory, the μC/GUI kernel code is modified and the GB2312 Chinese characters codec driver is added, this makes up for technical blank of Chinese display in embedded system with μC/GUI library, to provide an efficient and flexible solution for no character of LCD in embedded system. The method provides a reference implementation for other LCD controllers driver and font library transplantation in μC/GUI. Experiments show that, the design method of extended Chinese font provides reference for interactive LCD driver transplantation and font realization; it has better practicability and universality in environment of μC/GUI system.

Abstract: The traditional reservoir water level monitoring system utilizes the sensors placed in the water has drawbacks of: 1) high possibility of water seepage; 2) short life cycle; 3) difficulty to achieve real-time monitoring; and 4) not easy to maintain. This paper presents a design of water level measurement sensor which relies on mechanical transmission tracking method. Since there is no need to place the sensor into the water, the life cycle is improved. Furthermore, by remote data transmission over the internet network, A real-time monitoring of the water level can be achieved, and thus significantly improve the overall management efficiency of reservoir resource utilization.

Abstract: The term Internet of Things as a component of Future Internet is a recent fast growing global network infrastructure which extends Internet with a sensors and actuators shield. The paper presents a hands-on learning kit based on an open standard embedded computer connected to Internet enabling live data processing. The system uses cloud programming tools to add significant value to the education purpose, by including up-to-date innovative technical approaches and pedagogical values for improving the attractiveness and efficiency of the education activities in the engineering area. The learning goal intends to develop the Internet of things as new universe based on smart objects, connected to the Internet via adequate sensors and actuators. This can be an essential tool for a deeper understanding of the main concepts in physics, informatics and math, even in the early steps of learning. Based on cloud programming resources, the hardware-software components use the latest version of low power 32-bit embedded computer development platform and process interfaces to allow data monitoring, remote physical experiments, mobile world supervising, and collaborative project development. As an open standard learning tool, the kit offers a new computational framework able to serve in scientific experiments and discovery-based learning. This study was strongly motivated by the European Union recommendation to support and enrich the university curriculum by engaging students in hands-on engineering and design activities.

Abstract: With the improvement of life quality, the people attach more importance to health, and have higher requirements on residue detection of harmful substance in foods. The existing traditional detection methods not only have complicated procedures, but also are very expensive, so it is urgent to develop an intelligent rapid residue detector of harmful substances. The paper researches the portability design of intelligent pesticide residue detector. It applies embedded system design method which implements control and processing functions of detector on a Xilinx-FPGA chip, which not only reduces system volume, but also reduces power consumption and cost. So it has great significance to develop rapid food safety testing instrument.

Abstract: Most embedded systems are real-time systems, so real-time is an important performance metric for embedded systems. The worst-case execution time (WCET) estimation for embedded programs could satisfy the requirement of hard real-time evaluation, so it is widely used in embedded systems evaluation. Based on sufficient survey on the progress of WCET estimation around the world, it proposes a new classification of WCET estimation. After introducing the principle of WCET estimation, it mainly demonstrates various types of technologies to estimate WCET and classifies them into two main streams, namely, static and dynamic WCET estimations. Finally, it shows the development of WCET analysis tools.

Abstract: In order to achieve collection and monitoring environmental parameters of the plant factory , this paper designs an intelligent monitoring system based on embedded system. The system consists of a terminal controller and a centralized controller. STC90C51 microcontroller is used as the MCU of the terminal controller, It is responsible for detecting environmental parameters and the regulation of the red and blue LED lights. The MCU of the centralized controller is an ARM processor named s3c6410, and it implements the function of the image acquisition and Web server. In the LAN users can access the information collected through the browser. The result of the tests shows that the system is stable and have referential significance to the monitoring system in other areas.

Abstract: In recent years, along with the speeding up of the wide application of computer technology and information technology in our country, computer measurement control system has been widely used in more and more occasions. The temperature is an important parameter in many monitoring and control system. In some strictly requiring temperature monitoring, more real-time and high precision temperature measurement are needed. The traditional temperature measurement method is dependent on measuring the analog quantities of electronic components, and then converts it into visual measurement results. From the aspects of hardware circuit design, it is of great trouble to develop and takes much work, at the same time; the problem anti-interference is more outstanding.
