Abstract: Taking the crankshaft of the emulsion pump with high pressure and large discharge typed of BRW550/31.5 as the research object, we established the 3D solid model for integral crankshaft under Pro/E environment and made the finite element analyses of the crankshaft with two bearing and three bearing supporting structures. The stress and deformation situations of integral crankshaft under two different supporting structures were obtained and the superiority of the latter was verified. The results provide the theoretical basis for the optimization design of the crankshaft and the development of the emulsion pump with high pressure and large discharge.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel test system for emulsion pump to save the energy consumed by the conventional test system in the coal industry standard MT/T188.2-2000. First, the detailed information of this system was described to explain how this system functioned as designed and how the power recovery was realized. Then simulations within AMEsim were carried out to validate the feasibility and capability of this system, and the results were discussed and compared. Finally it was testified that this novel system could save nearly 90 percent of energy consumed by the original test system while still accorded with the test standard.

Abstract: The abruption of the valve spring will deteriorate the opening and closing hysteresis characteristic and reduce the volumetric efficiency of the emulsion pump further. With the singularity detection and the improved algorithm of the Lipschitz exponents based on least median of squares, the singularities in signals could be localized to find the impact hour between the discharge valve disc and the valve seat or the lift limiter. The diagnosis results show that the discharge valve spring abruption fault of the emulsion pump can be identified correctly and effectively.
