Abstract: With the wide application of ERP system in manufacturing enterprises in China, Issues of enterprise information security are becoming increasingly influential. Abstract: This paper mainly describes application of non-contact laser thickness gauge in steel plate rolling process, including workstation site thickness measurement, data collection, information analysis and integration with ERP system, as well as problems may arise during applications and sustainable development in the future. Through the system development to realize traditional steel plate rolling industry information planning, paperless operations, increase work efficiency, enhance product quality and zero defective products. Integrated design of steel plate thickness measurement and tachometer, to understand the pros and cons of output products right after steel plate rolling, and do product level classification immediately to assist enterprises to save manpower, time and loss cost of export defective products to the market, and eventually increase products competition and profits.

Abstract: Based on the BSC (balanced score card) and its expansion theory, this paper regards the fuzzy algorithm as the means and the empirical research of sampling of the large and medium-size enterprises as the basis, then combines the characteristics of the enterprise sectors and activities to build a set of evaluation index system of ERP implementation performance, which is objective, valid and integral. This aims to improve the success rate to implement ERP for enterprises and promote their business processes as well as the performance.

Abstract: In daily life, lots of work need people maintain higher attention or vigilance. In the early study of vigilance, blink frequency, the impedance of skin, body temperature and blood pressure and other physiological signals was used to estimate the vigilance. EEG signal can more directly reflect the brain's activity than other physiological signals, and EEG signal have a higher time resolution. In this paper, ERP component was used to analyze the alert state, according to this study, the use of ERP component analysis can reflect the subjects’ alertness.

Abstract: This paper proposed significance and urgency of constructing steelmaking MES on analysing the informationization status of Pangang Group. And addressed the implementation of steelmaking MES for Pangang Group. The steelmaking MES adopted multi-tier architecture which included presentation layer, application server layer and data layer. The presentation layer mainly fulfilled user permission and display of GUI. Application server layer mainly fulfilled system function such as access control, data subscribe/publish, object mapping, database access, components management. Business logic on the application server executed storage management, plan management, process monitoring, actual production management and quality control etc. The implementation of this system significantly improved the management level of steel plant, optimized the productive process and reduced the production cost.

Abstract: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is integrated software that linked the functional areas in the organization by using and sharing the database in one platform. The implementation of ERP system in most of the manufacturing plants help in simplifying the production and scheduling system and smoothing the process flow which will lead the organisation towards lean manufacturing environment. Most of the manufacturers do not analyse and review on the effectiveness and implications of the ERP system at the post implementation stage. This study was established to address the impacts of the ERP system in leveraging the lean practices at the shop floor and the recommendations for the continuous improvement initiatives. Data for analysis has been retrieved from in house ERP system and from manual record system of a company that already implemented ERP system. Questionnaires have been distributed to ERP users within Malaysia and Singapore to gain insight the related issue of using ERP system in their company. The study provides evidence on the effectiveness and positive impacts of the ERP system to support manufacturing industries to become more lean and agile. ERP system also effectively to response to the customer requirement and added the value along the supply chain.

Abstract: The model transformation from Computation Independent Model (CIM) to Platform Independent Model (PIM) level is one of the crucial and difficult points in the implementation process of model-driven Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. For achieving the semantic conforming transformation between these two abstract modeling levels in Model Driven Architecture (MDA), a model transformation method based on ontology technology was proposed, which was a semi-automatic and general method. Firstly, the existing problems of model transformation from CIM level to PIM level in current studies were analyzed. Then, a model transformation framework based on ontology was built, the basic concepts relating to ontology were defined, and the whole architecture was described. After that, the transformation method was researched from two parts, the discovering of mapping rules and the occurrence of model transformation, which included the discovering technology of mapping rules based on similarity and the working principles of model transformation generator. Finally, a model transformation example was provided for validating the practicability and feasibility of proposed theories.
