Abstract: This work is carried out to investigate the performance of concrete reinforced with plastic fibers obtained locally (bottle waste as fiber). Bottle waste plastic was chosen because it is being thrown after single use and cause environmental problem. One way to recycle wasted bottles plastic is grinded into irregular fiber. Then, it was incorporate with the concrete and tests the performance of the concrete. The study was conducted using cylindrical and rectangular (cube) mold of concrete to investigate the performance of the concrete in term of mechanical properties. In this research, the mechanical properties that were measured are compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and flexural strength. The results revealed that the presence of plastic fiber in concrete will increase the concrete performance, as well as the concrete bond strength is improved and the cracks in the concrete decrease the use of fibers and reduce plastic waste.

Abstract: This paper presents the production of enviromental concrete using fine aggregate and fly ash to reduce bad influences on environment. The excessive exploition of traditional sand in Mekong Delta rivers has recently caused serious landslides sweeping away a large area and making. Therefore, using alternative materials - fine aggregate to replace river sand - is very important and urgent. In addition, fly ash is one of waste products in coal-fired power plants, and, the consumption of fly ash helps decreasing landfill costs and increasing sustainable development. The compression strength of environmental concrete is obtained from 20-40 MPa using cube-shaped specimens with various compositions. The productive prices between environmental and traditional concrete are comparatively discussed

Abstract: Portland cement is a main type of construction materials, however his production does harm to the environment. In article the author has considered prospects of production technologies and the main properties of the eco-friendly knitting materials in the concrete used when constructing facilities different function. Researches have shown that alternative types of eco-friendly materials have the limited fields of use, but can widely be used for construction of roads, airfields, hydraulic engineering constructions already in the nearest future. Speed of their introduction in production will depend on activity and demand of consumers for these types of cement.

Abstract: The article reveals the problem of green areas of the urban environment, which is becoming one of the most topical in Russian cities. The creation of comfortable housing is inextricably linked to the urban situation, the degree of urbanization of the living environment. With the increase in the size of cities, changes in the environmental situation the nature of the connection "housing – environment" is modifying. Activities for the improvement of areas, the organization of environmentally comfortable areas around the houses (the creation of parks, playgrounds in the yard, etc.) and the provision of standards of gardening in the absence of conditions for the usual long-term gardening can be carried out using mobile landscaping. The use of green recreational space in the city improvement allows solving the problem of green areas shortage, and will have a positive impact on the appearance of the city.

Abstract: The results of the Tyrnyauz tungsten-molybdenum Plant (TTMP) slurry pond settler environment impacts assessment are given in this scientific work, and the recommendations about the negative impact reduction on the environment are made. In the given work the characteristics of the environment state are investigated: atmospheric air, water objects and land resources.

Abstract: Geopolymers are amorphous aluminosilicate materials which combine low temperature, polymer-like processing with high temperature stability and fire resistibility without toxic smoke generation. For larger expansion of geopolymer composites in aircraft industry, it is necessary to know how it behaves in contact with operating fluids. The specimens were divided into groups exposed to fuel, hydraulic oil, jet oil, and salt mist. Hot/Wet condition until saturation was also applied for one group. Mechanical testing was performed by means of tension, compression, in-plane shear, flexion and interlaminar shear on both reference non-treated and exposed specimens. The largest decrease in all measured strength values was caused by the salt mist. As the most significant, in-plane shear strength was decreased by 85 % by this environment. Operating fluids and hot/wet conditions decreased the shear strength approx. by 15 %. Geopolymer composites are an interesting alternative to existing polymeric and ceramic matrix materials and offers high potential for cost-efficient applications dealing with temperatures up to 1 200°C.

Abstract: In recent years there has been an increasing tendency to use wastes in manufacturing construction material. Some of the studies were dedicated to recycling hazardous waste in a manner that is safe and protective of human health and the environment. The aim of this work is to study the possibility of using clinical waste as the aggregates for manufacturing construction materials. For that purpose, firstly a technology of initial sterilization with combustion of clinical waste was considered. Secondly as along as the clinical waste became sterile and environmentally safe, non-hazardous fractionated products of clinical waste combustion were proposed as aggregate for concretes. This study reports the results of the experiment when different concrete compositions with such aggregate were obtained, investigated and tested using samples (100 mm cubes). Physic-chemical properties of the material were described; its environmental impact was assessed. Thirdly, the potential of the big city in clinical waste generation and subsequent use of fractionated products of clinical waste combustion in construction materials manufacturing was evaluated. As a result of the use of ArcGIS ESRI geoinformation system, a visual representation of the information has been provided. The results of this study show the possibility of using non-hazardous clinical wastes combustion products in manufacturing construction materials and also in road construction.

Abstract: Active House is a vision on some buildings that create a healthy and comfortable life for their occupants without influencing in a negative way the climate and environment - leading to a cleaner, healthier and safer world. Active House proposes a target framework for changing the way we build and renovate buildings in order to contribute positively to our health, safety and well-being, focusing on indoor and outdoor environment and on the effective use of energy.

Abstract: The current experimental research is devoted to comparison of bond glass fiber reinforced plastic with concrete before and after long-term (quarter year, half year and one year) exposure in the concrete on the air and in the water. The comparative analysis of experimental results was performed.
