Abstract: This paper of the BIM method to the existing buildings of VŠB - TU Ostrava. The aim of the paper is to introduce the BIM method and the way in which this method is gradually implemented into three selected objects - nursery school, faculty of electrical engineering and informatics and faculty of civil engineering. During BIM implementation, 2D documentation is converted to BIM models and a digital twin is created.

Abstract: Taking three existing buildings implemented energy saving refurbishment as object for the study, the analysis are carried out in order to obtain the structure characteristics of the existing building.Thermal defects of wall, roof, windows and other building sites are determinated. The overall reform program is formulated. The results provide the basis for reconstruction design project. It proposes systematic technical solutions of exterior wall insulation, roof insulation, insulation of exterior windows, stairwell insulation and energy-saving technical solutions in corresponding key nodes. The design scheme can provide reference for other similar buildings energy-saving renovation.

Abstract: As a new kind of urban landscaping, roof greening plays an important role in saving energy, easing the heat island effect, reducing dust and improving the urban environment. Taking the existing buildings in Hangzhou Shangcheng District for example, this essay is an analysis of the effects and promotional value of the urban roof greening and a research of the feasibility and necessity of roof greening promotion, which to further demonstrate that as a ground greening supplement, roof greening can expand greening scope and increase urban green coverage ratio, to form a dual interests of both economic and ecological sustainability.

Abstract: It is essential to find out the thermal property of building envelope in order to design economical and reasonable scheme of energy-saving reconstruction. Field testing is a method of receiving the thermal property of envelope when existing buildings are reconstructed. In this paper, we focus on the need for obtaining the thermal transfer coefficient. A methoddouble-sided heat flow meter was introduced and used to test the thermal property of wall. The testing results show that it provides a feasible method for colleting basal data of energy-saving reconstruction of existing buildings.

Abstract: The rapid development and expansion speed in the renewal of the China’s industrial cities are not suited to the current situations of large energy consumption of the existing buildings, these current situations causes the urban environment and resources to be destroyed and the sustainable development of cities to be severely hampered. To solve these problems, a variety of resources for urban renewal in the energy conservation reconstruction of the existing building should be deeply developed, such as analysis and research of reconstruction background, local natural environment and natural resources, utilization of waste and recyclable resources etc., at the same time, perfection of the existing building energy saving assessment system is also the key to promote the settlement of the problems. This paper demonstrates the energy conservation reconstruction and comprehensive utilization of the existing buildings in the industrial urban renewal in various aspects in order to promote the sustainable development objectives of the industrial urban renewal.

Abstract: The construction industry is one of the important environment-polluting industries in global. Aims at the present “short-lived” phenomenon of existing building in China, This paper firstly introduced the concept of Embodied Environment Effect Factor (EEEF) and on the platform of this concept; the whole life cycle EEEF value is calculated. The result shows that constantly updated and reuse to extend the life of the building in its life cycle, reducing the probability of demolition and reconstruction, will be an effective means to reduce resource consumption and environmental damage.

Abstract: Along with the quick development of social economy, consumption of the energy is more and more serious. Saving energy’s reformation not only can lower a building energy effectively but also can improve the environment of the inner and exterior of building. For improving the quality level of life, it has very aggressive meaning. Existing building consuming energy is serious in all buildings. Its economy energy reformation is particularly important. The paper set out a few current aspects economize on energy the technique project from the doors and windows, out wall, and roof etc. and policy suggestion of reformation from the actual circumstance.

Abstract: In this paper, the current situation of the house and the features of the climate in Shihezi were introduced. Based on the analysis of energy consumption, a real existing project in rural existing house of Shihezi was taken as an example to carry out the analysis of energy consumption with the software of DeST-h. Furthermore, the economic evaluation was given out. The results indicated that the satisfactory economic benefits of energy-saving retrofit could be achieved with the appropriate energy-saving reform plan.

Abstract: Abstract. In view of the status of existing buildings in northwest of Liaoning, most of which are lack of energy-saving practices and appear poor comfort, this paper starts from the energy saving concept, aims at figuring out the energy saving measures for cold regions, such as northwest of Liaoning province. The research includes analyzing energy-saving methods, steps and initiatives. Based on these, this paper also proposes specific technical practices to overcome the shortcomings of the existing buildings on energy conservation, and gives advices on how to reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of people’s living and working environment.
