Abstract: Xylan preservative is a new type of wood preservatives ,which is not only harmless to humans and animals, but also no contaminates the environment. Through the extraction of corn cob xylan, anti-corrosion performance testing and compared with the CCA, the results shows that: white rot fungus specimen weight loss rates were: 2.53%, and CCA weight loss rates were 4.08%. In this paper, we carried out through cottonwoods of different states to measure, research and analyse the main chemical composition on their moisture content, benzene - alcohol extract content, lignin content and whole fiber content, which is for future improvement preservatives formulated to provide experimental data, through the comparison of chemical composition among different states of cottonwoods to find out how the effects of preservatives on cottonwood anticorrosive were. The experiments indicated that benzene-alcohol extractive contents of anticorrosion cottonwood and fresh cottonwood were close to 4.50% and 4.51%, while decayed cottonwood of benzene-alcohol content of drawn increased to 5.70%. Lignin contents of anticorrosion and fresh cottonwood were close: respectively, 22.10% and 22.55%, from 24.19% rotten cottonwood. The whole fiber content of Anticorrosion cottonwood, fresh cottonwood and decayed cottonwood were, respectively,66.62%, 84.55% and 64.19% .

Abstract: In this paper, the ultrasonic extraction method of Oligomeric Proantho Cyanidin with chestnut shells as raw materials is studied. Using single factor method we study the effects of different extraction time, extraction reagent, extracting agent concentration and ultrasonic power on the extraction rate of Oligomeric Proantho Cyanidin. After analyzing these various factors, we make the orthogonal experiment with the factors including extraction time, extraction agent concentration, extraction temperature, solid-liquid ration, and get the optimal conditions. The experimental results show that the optimum extraction conditions are as follow: time of 30 min, extracting agent of 40% (v %) ethanol aqueous solution, extraction temperature of 40 °C, solid-liquid ratio of 1: 25 g/mL and ultrasonic power of 100 w; under these conditions the extraction rate of Oligomeric Proantho Cyanidin is 3.418%.

Abstract: In order to treat these arsenical residues produced when some arsenical chemical weapons were destroyed in Nanjing and recycle the arsenic, sulfuric acid was used as the extraction agent to extract the arsenic contained in the residuals, and single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments were carried out to study the effects of factors including concentration, liquid-to-solid ratio, temperature, shaking speed and time on the extraction effect. The results show that these five factors all have some effect on the arsenic extraction rate with the degree in the following order: Liquid-to-solid ratio> temperature> extraction agent concentration > time > shaking speed; when the sulfuric acid concentration is 1.2 mol/L and the liquid-to-solid ratio is 30, keeping the shaking speed at 200 r/min and extracting the residues at 40 °C for 2h, the arsenic extraction rate of the residues could reach up to 98.95%.

Abstract: This paper studied the effect of strong acid---concentrated sulfuric acid---on organic phase physical properties, copper extraction rates as well as phase behaviors in the process of copper solvent extraction. Results demonstrate that with the increase of contact time between organic phase and concentrated sulfuric acid, the organic phase density and viscosity slightly decreased, copper extraction rate linearly decreased from 99.8% to 99.5%, and the average size of organic phase droplet in raffinate cyclically trended to decrease. When the contact time is less than 20 hrs, phase disengagement rate decreased slowly. However, further increasing the contact time the phase disengagement rate decreased rapidly. Organic phase physical properties have little effect on phase disengagement rate.

Abstract: The research involves the calcination of QingHaiQiLian serpentine with ammonium sulfate in order to extract magnesium, and evaluates calcination results through the mass of water leaching residue that comes from the calcination, dissolution and filtration process. Optimal calcination parameters of serpentine and ammonium sulfate determined by orthogonal experiments, single-factor experiments, elemental analysis and SEM analysis are: calcination duration of 1h, calcination temperature of 700°C, ammonium sulfate dosage of 90g (or mass ratio of ammonium sulfate to serpentine sample (m1/m2) of 3:2), under which condition a magnesium extraction rate of 62.75% can be achieved.

Abstract: To raise the extraction efficiency of the organic components of coal, samples were selected from tectonic coal and original bituminous coal in symbiotic seam of coal in Pingdingshan 8th coal mine and 5th coal mine. For comparing the extraction time required under the same extraction rate, two different extraction methods, ultrasonic-microwave coordination extraction and traditional soxhlet extraction, was adopted. The experimental results showed that the extraction proportion of ultrasonic-microwave coordination extraction was 10.7911% when adopted tectonic coal of 8th coal mine as sample, selected 80mL pyridine as solvent, set 95W as microwave power and 3min as extraction time. Under the condition of same extraction proportion, soxhlet extraction time is 39.43h.So the extraction efficiency of the ultrasonic-microwave coordination extraction was as 788.6 times as soxhlet extraction. The ultrasonic-microwave coordination extraction was a simplify method with fast extraction speed, large volume sample, energy saving and environmental friendly.

Abstract: Two different extraction methods, microwave extraction and traditional soxhlet extraction, were used to evaluate the optimal extraction process of coal for direct carbon fuel cells through enrichment efficiency of the organic components and extraction time required under the same extraction rate. The experimental results showed that the extraction rate of microwave extraction was 9.7368% when adopted tectonic coal of 8th coal mine as sample, selected 80mL pyridine as solvent, set 95W as microwave power and 3min as extraction time. Under the same extraction rate condition, soxhlet extraction time is 35.73h, and the extraction efficiency of the microwave extraction was 714.6 times that of the soxhlet extraction. The microwave extraction was a simplify and promising working for coal, which was used as raw fuel for direct carbon fuel cells, with fast extraction speed, large sample capacity, energy saving and environmental friendly.

Abstract: In case of tunnel fire at congest traffic, central smoke extraction by controlling the longitudinal flow velocity can confine and extract the fire-induced smoke in a short time, and retain the natural stratification as well as possible for obvious reason of safety. With respect to three vents located on both sides of the fire in an asymmetrical arrangement, a series of experimental tests are carried out in a 1/14 reduced scale model tunnel. For the experimental simulations, fire induced smoke is simulated by a heated air release using the model proposed by Mégret et al. Detailed temperature distributions in the tunnel have been carried out. According to the test results, it is difficult to give consideration to the smoke control both upstream and downstream the fire. At critical ventilation, until the exhaust rate Ge is more than 519m3/s, air temperature in the respiratory region can decrease to 322K for people survival.

Abstract: To compare the extraction rate of the organic components of coal between direct ultrasonic extraction and traditional soxhlet extraction, samples were selected from tectonic coal and original bituminous coal in Pingdingshan 8th coal mine and 5th coal mine. Compared the extraction time of two different extraction methods under the same extraction rate, the experimental results showed that the direct ultrasonic extraction rate was 3.6942% under the condition that coal was 8th coal mine tectonic coal, solvent was pyridine, extraction time was 6min and solvent volume was 60mL, while soxhlet extraction time was 14.59h in the same extraction rate. The extraction efficiency of the direct ultrasonic extraction was 145.9 times that of the soxhlet extraction. The ultrasonic extraction was a simplify working with fast extraction speed, sample capacity, energy saving, economy and environmental friendly. It also didn’t require heating which could avoid the influence of high-temperature on components extracted.
