Abstract: One of the important characteristics of magnetic materials is the measurement of magnetic characteristics through Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) especially magnetization temperature dependence M(T)ZFC and MTFC measurement. In this work, we reported magnetization temperature dependence measurements of magnetite nanoparticles without SiO2 encapsulation (Fe3O4) and magnetite nanoparticles with SiO2 encapsulation (Fe3O4.SiO2) at the application of magnetic fields of 100 Oe. The nanoparticles magnetite was synthesized by co-precipitation method. It was calculated that the blocking temperature of magnetite nanoparticles Fe3O4 without and with SiO2 encapsulation is 118.38 K and 209.03 K, respectively. The blocking temperatures of magnetic nanoparticles increase by SiO2 encapsulation.

Abstract: In recent years, as the SVC device have also been used for DC ice melting system, the installment is still on the rise, it is necessary to study the loss situation. This paper firstly analyzed the theory of the loss of its each part of the device, and then finished a simulation based on the PSCAD software. We hope the research can give some value guidance on SVC assembled for the power grid.

Abstract: nanozerovalent iron particles coated with biopolymer nanoskin were prepared by liquid phase method. For a period of time, the remaining xanthan layer can prevent oxidation of nanoiron in air. The goal of this study is to demonstrate that magnetic properties of magnetic fluid which suspend nanoiron particles coated with xanthan in xanthan/guar fluid. Magnetic hysteresis loops were measured at room temperatures and field-cooled / zero-field-cooled magnetization curves were obtained at low temperature by a vibrating sample magnetometer. The results interpret that biopolymer nanoskin did not strongly weaken the magnetic interaction between nanoiron particles.

Abstract: Problems of practical educational process in mechatronics and automation appeared last time because of avalanche-like growth of information stream in the field lead to necessity to renovate concepts of laboratory base in educational activity. The paper considers modern approaches to practical training course realized in Novosibirsk State Technical University (Russia).

Abstract: Two-sublattice magnets with competing direct exchange interactions can exhibit spin-glass properties. It is shown that the Ising model on a 2D lattice with z = 8 nearest neighbors takes place divergence between the ZFC and FC magnetization curves. It was shown, that a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between ferromagnetically ordered sublattices with approximately similar values of the magnetic moments in the sites can lead to very complex magnetic properties. Theoretical magnetic phase diagram for the structures with random dilution was built.

Abstract: In this work ion conductivity and FC application were studied for the new type composite material based on SDC (samarium doped ceria) and Li2SO4. Significant conductivity enhancement was achieved, e.g. 10-2 – 0.4 Scm-1 for the SDC-Li2SO4 compared to 10-4 -10-2 Scm-1 for the SDC between 400 and 650°C. Some ion conductivity mechanisms were proposed correspondingly. Using the SDC-Li2SO4 composite materials as the electrolytes, we achieved high performances, 200-540 mWcm-2, for intermediate temperature (450-650°C) solid oxide FC (ITSOFC) applications. Sulfates, typically Li2SO4, have an excellent chemical stability in sulfur containing atmosphere. The sulfate-ceria (SDC-Li2SO4) composite materials can thus meet the demands to develop the sulfur tolerant and H2S FC technologies, which was also demonstrated successfully with significant importance for both fundamental and applied research.
