Abstract: At present, crankshafts with larger size are finished mostly by abrasive cloth and manual steel brush, which is not ideal on finishing quality, efficiency and cost, especially cleanness degree does not meet design and use request. So horizontal spindle barrel finishing has been developed and has good finishing effects for crankshafts with small size. But this process has bad uniformity for connecting rod journal of crankshafts with larger size by simulation experiments. Aimed at the size, shape and weight of crankshafts with larger size, theoretic research is done, and main factors for finishing uniformity are analyzed. Finally its finishing project is defined and experiments are done. The research indicates that this process is very effective for crankshafts with larger size, and has also positive influence on efficiency and auto product line.

Abstract: Under the effect of magnetic field, the removing material will produce by using magnetorheo1ogica1 fluid with contains hard magnetic particles or polishing powder, when the magnetorheo1ogica1 fluid moving relative to the workpiece. Magnetorheological finishing is a promising technology for manufacturing super-smooth components surface. According to Preston equation, mathematics model of magnetorheo1ogica1 fluid is established with the hysteresis shear stress model which composed of viscous and bilinear hysteresis shear stress model. After discussing the relationship between magnetic field and material removal studied, the results show that hysteresis shear stress model can describe the mechanical behavior of magnetorheo1ogica1 fluid perfectly and it is simple in form, explicit and easy to apply. Calculated value is consistent with the experimental values and the mathematical model is thus capable to play a guiding role in processing.

Abstract: The machining quality of rolling bearing raceway has an important impact on bearing life. In this paper, the finishing experiment equipment of rolling bearing raceway is built and the mechanical and electrochemical mechanical experiments are conducted. The impact of clearance between cathode and workpiece, the rotation speed and the abrasive grain size on electrochemical mechanical machining quality is analyzed. The surface roughness decreases from Ra0.20μm to Ra0.04μm through electrochemical mechanical machining. The surface morphology of workpiece after finishing is observed. Contrast with the surface morphology after conventional mechanical polishing, the surface after electrochemical mechanical finishing is more suitable to the bearing raceway.

Abstract: Two reactive antibacterials were applied to finish for polyester/cotton (T/C) blend fabrics (20/80) and (35/65) and the optimal finishing process was obtained by orthogonal experiments. The finished fabrics were undergone the evaluation of antibacterial performance. For both of the two antibacterials and two T/C fabrics, the lowest inhibition rates for Staphyloccocus aureus were 85.97% and 79.19% after 50 washing cycles. The results indicated that the treated fabric had good antibacterial performance and washing durability.

Abstract: Due to the advantages of both the chitosan and the nanomaterial, chitosan nanoparticle has a broad application in a lot of fields, such as medicine carrier, food process, cosmetics and agriculture protect. And there also appears a lot of research about chitosan nanoparticle in textile finishing in recent years. In former research, steady state chitosan nanoparticles were prepared by ionotropic gelation method in dispersion system. In this paper, in order to confirm the preparation of low molecular weight chitosan nanoparticle, it was also characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectrometry, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). Focusing on the application value, chitosan nanoparticles dispersion solution were used as one kind of textile finishing agent to modify B.mori silk fabrics in order to realize the functionalization of silk fabrics. The wrinkle resistance and bacteria repellency of silk fabrics were tested in the paper. The results showed that chitosan nanoparticles were successfully prepared and confirmed accrording to the XRD, FT-IR and TEM tests. In addition, compared with the ordinary B. mori silk fabric and the B. mori silk fabric treated with chitosan accordingly, the B. mori silk fabrics treated with chitosan nanoparticle dispersion system had better wrinkle resistance and bacteria repellency.

Abstract: The lightly cross-linked fluorinated polyacrylate latex was synthesized by emulsion copolymerization, in which fluorine containing acrylate, butyl acrylate (BA) and organosiloxane containing bisacrylate were used as monomers. The fluorine containing co-polymeric emulsion was obtained with narrow particle size distribution and the average particle size to be about 130 nm. The emulsion with and without addition of cross-linking agent was applied on silk textile finishing. The result shows that, treating with the emulsion without cross-linking agent, the water-and oil-repellency of silk fabric reached level 3-4 and level 3, respectively, and the contact angle was up to 133.5°. After addition of cross-linking agent, the emulsion can afford the silk fabric with better water-and oil-repellency of level 4 and level 3-4, respectively. The improvement of water-and oil-repellency can probably be attributed to the lightly cross-linking structure of fluoropolymer, the latter resulted in more dense film on the surface of silk fabric after finishing.

Abstract: As a typical kind of surface finishing technology, magnetic abrasive finishing has unique advantages in finishing effect, efficiency and application, it occupies a very important position and has huge potential application value. As the core component of the magnetic abrasive finishing, the magnetic field formation components have a direct impact on the finishing effect and efficiency. Electro permanent magnetic field formation components used in magnetic abrasive finishing are put forward based on the characteristics of electro permanent magnet and its application in crane and clutch. Analyzing the main performance and characteristics of the magnetic filed formation components and determining the overall scheme according to the total requirements of magnetic filed formation components. Analyzing the feasibility of the electro permanent magnetic filed formation components through the simulation and then forming the design method to further promote the industrialization process of magnetic abrasive finishing.

Abstract: The microporous on spinneret has the characteristics of high precision, small pore size and large quantity. Spinneret microporous finishing operation is mainly used for removing the burr formed on the spinneret silk surface after micropores drilling and punching. The burrs seriously affect the quality of the spinning fibers. Micropore spinneret finishing plays a vital role in improving the quality of processing micropore. This paper introduces a system consisting of the spinneret micropore fine machine,then focuses on fine machine positioning system and proposes a high-precision positioning method of the microporous.

Abstract: Spinneret automatic fine machine uses the host computer to control machinery to accurately punch pear-shaped needle into each micropores on the spinneret. It can not only remove the burrs formed in the production process of the spinneret, better able to make each of the microporous achieve the required size and dense material properties by punching. It can replace manual operation, improve the finishing efficiency and precision and have solved many defects in manual finishing operation. This paper focuses on the hardware and operating system of the spinneret finishing machine, also tests and verifies various parameters.

Abstract: The pulse electrochemical finishing (PECF) of GCr15 bearing steel was studied. The effect of the main processing parameters, such as electrolyte concentration, inter-electrode gap, current density, pulse parameters, and processing temperature, on the processed surface quality was discussed. The results indicate that PECF has a good effect on GCr15 bearing steel and has a good application prospect on the finishing of bearing raceways.
