Abstract: The Computer Generated Force (CGF) system was introduced and the model structure of CGF system was discussed. The entities' model of missile was designed, it includes operator model and mobile controller and dynamic model of missile, different missile can be simulated by given different parameters of performance with the model. The behavior modeling based on Finite State Machine of CGF was studied, it could generate targeted behavior to the changing situation of combat environment. The simulation results show that the modeling method is reasonable and valid.

Abstract: An analog-digital clock delay locked loop (DLL) control circuit is proposed to detect and adjust the analog-digital clock phase difference in real time in a 14-bit 2GSPS digital-to-analog converter (DAC). To achieve a reasonable analog-digital clock phase difference, a digitally controlled delay line (DCDL) should be able to provide a total clock delay up to 1024ps. Such fine control is realized by a control block tracking and maintaining the precise phase relationship between analog and digital clock domains. The control circuit is realized by designing a digital finite state machine (FSM) carefully. The proposed circuit is implemented in 0.18μm CMOS technology. Simulation results show that the proposed circuit performs well in various conditions in high speed data transmission applications.

Abstract: Considering the virtual characters in the virtual environment are generally inflexible, devoid of personality and emotion, this paper takes full account of the impact of personality on behavior, and points out a "plan-TO-action" converter based on Gaussian probability distribution function and the FSM (Finite State Machine). The work of converter is to evaluate some parameters, such as time and place in the planning process, combined with the personality of the virtual character, producing the final action. The converter is applied in a prototype system for digital home.

EDA technology improves, promoted the development of elevator controller. Elevator industry with the development of science and technology, constantly appeared in various places, people's life so, design of elevator controller is a practical example, also has the very big help to master the applications of EDA technology. The elevator controller is composed of two parts of hardware and software. This design using the EDA technology to carry out the operation, design is a 3 storey elevator controller.

Abstract: To resolve the problem of mission-based UAV autonomous navigation, flight control system and navigation control system were designed and the navigation method based on finite state rough set theory was adopted. Firstly, the whole process of the mission was divided to get the state transition diagram using the finite state machine model, and then rough set theory was used to reduce the properties and finally a minimal rule set was obtained. The accuracy was proved by the experiment, and the method can meet the requirements of mission-based UAV navigation.

Abstract: In order to provide higher available bandwidth, flexible accessing and shared multimedia resource to the application in Media oriented systems transport (MOST) network. This paper proposed an implementation strategy of MOST network management, which is described by finite state mechanism model, discussed the scheme of multiple synchronous audio or video channel connection (SA/VCC) management. These works give an improved solution for MOST, which supports flexible accessing and reliable data transmission for multimedia devices, provides reasonable bandwidth allocation and shared multimedia resource in synchronous channel in practical.

Abstract: Network booting is the process of booting a computer from a network rather than a local drive. In this paper, a novel intelligent network booting protocol is proposed. It extracts all the states of the clients from their booting requests to their normal operations, which is depicted with a finite state machine. Based on the protocol, an intelligent network booting system is implemented with distributed modules, where the maintenance of the network booting system is automated, such as the preparation of the virtual booting partition for the client, loading and passing the booting parameters, and so on. Experiments are carried out to prove the efficiency of the network booting system.

Abstract: An autonomous formation-flight method for multiple UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) was designed. First the mathematical representation of formation shape was analyzed. Then the control architecture was devised for multiple UAVs formation flight based on finite state machine. The flight states of the wing UAV were built through the formation flight and the transformation relationships of these flight states were defined. So the automated transformation among these flight states could be achieved and the intelligence of the pilots could be mimicked by this way. Aiming at the typical flight state which is capable of maintaining the formation shape, the control laws were contrived for the wing UAVs. Finally, two nonlinear fighter models which have 6 degrees of freedom were selected to carry out autonomous formation-flight experiments. And the results show the control laws designed for maintaining the formation shape are valid.

Abstract: Different encoding scheme and method for process description of state machine are analyzed in detail, and the advantages and disadvantages of each are pointed out. The general state machine design method is given by a specific example program, according to the actual need, designers can choose different encoding scheme and method for process description to design.
