Abstract: In order to study heat transfer process in APU compartment of passenger plane and to perform structure thermal analysis, temperature field of APU compartment has been calculated by numerical computation. The computation model of flow and heat transfer process in APU compartment are setup by commercial CFD software Fluent, Realizable k-ε turbulent model and S2S thermal radiation model are used, and the flow field, temperature and heat flow information are acquired. Radiation heat transfer is the major heat transfer process in APU compartment; APU fireproofing cover and heat insulation hood of exhaust pipe function work as radiation heat shielding screens; and cooling air in the APU fireproofing cover plays an important part in decreasing the temperature of the fireproofing cover; the injection cooling air in the exhaust pipe reduced the wall temperature effectively. The results provide reference to optimization design.

Abstract: During recent years,micro-channel heat transfer technique has been successfully used in many practical situations,and has notable advantages of high heat transfer efficiency and compact configuration.It is an important subject in modern hydrodynamic and heat transfer research field.Computational fluid dynamic program CFX will be used in this article to simulate flow and heat transfer of single-phase water in micro-channel ,flow and temperature felid will be described visually in CFX, and this object is searching a new method to research more flow and heat transfer of single-phase water.

Abstract: A numerical based study was conducted to further understanding of turbine tip leakage and flow mechanisms for squealer tip blade. Three blade geometry models with different tips are established. They are squealer tip blade, squealer tip with injection holes blade, squealer tip with injection and film cooling holes blade, separately. Coupled aerodynamic and heat transfer numerical simulation method is used to study blade tip flow and heat transfer based the whole blade computational model. The results show that tip coolant injection will perform a positive effect for the resisting tip leakage, and it will reduce the temperature of blade tip surface and squealer rim, greatly. Film cooling near tip can cool blade squealer rim effectively, but it brings extra total pressure loss.
