Abstract: In order to solve the problem of removing uneven and improve processing quality for automatic polishing free curve surface of dies, a new technique based on fuzzy control is put forward in the thesis. Polishing pressure and rotate speed of grinding wheel will be changed according to the curvature of free curve surface, the results of simulation and experiment show the method is excellent for removing material evenly, reducing the values of surface roughness and improving the surface quality of parts, which provides good basis of practical research and application of accurate working for free surface of dies.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of uneven removal quantity in mold curved surface grinding and improve processing quality of auto-grinding mold, this paper designs an experiment device for free curved surface auto- grinding processing. On the basis of optimizing the parameter of process techniques, this paper presents the design method of variety-pressure auto- grinding free curved surface based on fuzzy control, the results of simulation and experiments show that the method can meet the needs of auto- grinding processing.

Abstract: In order to solve the difficulty of polishing process at present. Polishing posture was analyzed at the contact spot of polishing cutter with work piece in this paper, and how to layout the polishing path and its built method were discussed emphatically, carried out simulation analysis with Mastercam software, and proposed suitable building method of path according to different region using different polishing method. Finally, it is proved that an ideal effect would be achieved.

Abstract: In this paper the basic principle for the free curved surface NC grinding is introduced, and then the influencing factor of envelope control track, the key question of free curved surface NC grinding, is analyzed. Finally, in this foundation, according to the principle of “minimum directed distance” the thought of the free curved surface NC grinding control track calculating method is put forward.
