Abstract: The vibration signal of gear box shows the information of its running state. The thesis explains the basic model and its algorithm of blind source separation, simulates the common fault of gear box in the condition of laboratory, disposing the fault signals of gear box by blind source separation and intelligently identifying the faulty condition of gear box by the method of support vector machine (SVM) after extracting eigenvector, which achieves success.

Abstract: The Copula theory was applied when the reliability in mechanical transmission was difficult to be predicted, the reliability model between gears had been established, the dynamic relationships of mile, relevant parameter and reliability had been established. The model was applied to verify between two gears in transmission of the self-propelled gun, compared with the real situation, the model could provide reference for life and reliability prediction of complex drive system.

Abstract: The gear box diagnosis work has received considerable attention in recent years. But diagnosis work on gear box subject to varying work condition hasnt got much attention. A diagnosis and state monitor method based on vibration signal is proposed in this paper. The signal is de-nosied by SVD (singular value decomposition). Then specific frequency band is extracted by wavelet transform. Normal state and failure state is seperated by dimensionless time-indexes. Finally, health index of gear tooth used to monitor gear state is calculated by regularization. Simulate signal and experiment signal are presented to illustrate the implementation of the method. The result shows that, wavelet transform can extract the specific frequency band; pulse index and margin index can diagnosis tooth failure under varying work conditions. Gear tooth health index can be used to monitor gear tooth state.

Abstract: Grey Classification is a method which can judge and analyses the matter in the Grey System .It is more reasonable and practical than other ways. In this paper, we studied the Grey System and Grey Classification. Basing on the traditional method of multiple targets optimal design of driller’gear box, we found out the most satisfactory results which is more optimal than others by using the method of Grey Classification.

Abstract: An Intelligent Integrated CAD system applied in mechanical engineering design for selection, calculation and design embodiment of shaft-bearing-gear is presented in the paper. The CAD activities in correlation with the expert system are defined according to a given expertise domain, design of mechanical systems, which is supposed to take into account and operate with two information type: knowledge and data. Final results and concrete example are performed using CAD/CAE/CAM software, CATIA environment. Knowledge and databases processing for application presented in this paper use specific programming environment expert systems, Prolog – Flex. For user interface Visual Basic programming language is used, and Excel for data and knowledge base, which integrated in CATIA environment. Data transmission between the two performance programs CATIA and Prolog is made through the Excel files

Abstract: Gear box in caterpillar is designed with the static strength theory. While the dynamic characteristics of planetary parts in different working condition is difficult to obtain with the limit of traditional method, so research on reliability and fatigue life prediction of gear box is very difficulty which result that designed life is much longer than practical life. The reliability of caterpillar is affected deeply. The dynamic loads suffered by gear box in different working condition is obtained based on running simulation with MSC.ATV, and then the fatigue life of planetary frame is calculated with fatigue life prediction system of gear box. The study case prove the new method is feasible.

Abstract: This paper connects the fractal theory with the mechanical fault diagnosis,discusses the basic concept of the fractal dimension,and makes the technique of the phase space reconstruction for deriving the correlation dimension. Research result indicates that the correlation dimension in fractal geometry can efficiently reflect the shock signal component that excited by fault in gear’s vibration signal, and describe the development state of gear’s fault. Therefore, it’s sensitive to initial fault type of complicated mechanical system by using correlation dimensions in fractal theory to analyze.

Abstract: Based on three dimensional modeling software Solidworks, the physical model of 2MW wind turbine’s gear box is constructed and transferred into ADAMS, and then the virtual prototype model of the gearbox is established by adding constraint and load. According to the working state of the gearbox in different wind, the dynamic simulation is carried out, obtaining the revolution of the output shaft and mesh force of all gears. The simulation results compared with the theoretical values to verify the accuracy of the simulation.

Abstract: Gear box is one of the most important parts of vehicle transmission. Its fault influences the mobility of vehicle. In all the gear faults tooth-broken have the most serious harm. In this paper fault simulation test was taken on armored vehicle, and the vibration signals of gear box were measured. A signal analysis and fault diagnosis system was developed based on wireless web to analyze the signals in time domain and frequency domain. In this way a type of remote diagnosis is realized to diagnosing gear fault.

Abstract: The advantages and disadvantages of traditional gearbox fault diagnosis method based on autocorrelation, spectrum-zoom, Hilbert demodulation and cepstrum analysis are respectively analyzed. Then a gearbox fault diagnosis method is presented, which integrates autocorrelation, spectrum-zoom, Hilbert demodulation and cepstrum analysis. Finally, vibration data of the pitting gear is measured by using QPZZ-II rotating-machinery fault simulating system.
