Abstract: This paper embarks the machining parameters of Turning by optimization using Taguchi’s approach. The optimization is very essential in order to obtain the expected surface quality. The results of cutting parameters of optimization is seen in the Surface Roughness, Tool wear and MRR of the material. The L18 Orthogonal array has been chosen for the optimization of Valve Steel SUH03.The uncoated carbide inserts were used and the four parameters Speed, Feed, Depth of Cut and Nose Radius has been taken as input parameters. The Signal to Noise ratio and Analysis of Variance software has been analyzed using Minitab software through which the optimal cutting parameters of the best surface roughness, tool wear and MRR has been obtained. The final results have been compared by the Gray relational analysis to find the optimum machining conditions of all the parameters.

Abstract: This paper reviews the existing Chinese rural residential electricity price policies, including their features and forming foundations, then analyses the main factors affecting the current Chinese rural residential electricity price by considering electricity generation, transmission and demands, respectively. With the gray relational analysis and the statistical data, the key factors currently affecting Chinese rural residential electricity price can be given as: the average of air conditioners per household, the average lending rates, rural residential per capita net incomes, natural gas price, price of coals for power generation, per capita electricity consumptions in daily life, total electricity consumption, total electricity production, electricity infrastructure investment and cross-subsidies in the electricity sector. Furthermore, the conduction path of the key factors influencing and deciding the electricity price is analyzed and a cause-effect diagram is produced with system dynamics software.

Abstract: A number of different semi-rigid pavement structure models are established to perform calculation and the results are led into the calculation software nSoft to analyze and acquire the fatigue property of different semi-rigid pavement structure models. The grey relational analysis of different semi-rigid pavement structure models fatigue properties are done based on the grey system theory to gain the key influence parameter on semi-rigid pavement structure fatigue performance. The research conclusion has certain instruction function to design pavement structure with excellent anti-fatigue performance.

From the theoretical basis of this paper, logistics and distribution of fresh produce to undertake studies to gray relational analysis of logistics indicators screening, and finally the use of performance linear weighting method to produce logistics and distribution processes were evaluated.

Abstract: In the modern manufacturing the 3D printing technology is the largest reform. The Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) occupies a special place in a hierarchical manufacturing technology. In the SLS process the shrinkage brought the ports size decreased and caused the warp. The fabrication parameters in SLS process played a major influence on the molding accuracy. With the sintering process of Polypropylene composite powder, the fabrication parameters were investigated. Through the gray relational analysis to manipulate the test date about the warp and molding accuracy, we could determine the impact of the most important factors molding accuracy. The result showed that about the warp and molding accuracy the most important parameter was the scan speed, followed by laser power.

Abstract: The core of energy efficiency assessment (EEA) among energy consumers is to establish an integrated assessment model. In the paper, first, EEA process was described, and an assessment methodology based on gray relational analysis was introduced. Afterwards, a motor driving pump system was further studied as a typical example. By sorting pump-related standards and literatures, three indexes were chosen to form an assessment model for pump station, which were motor efficiency, unit energy consumption and pump efficiency, respectively. According to grey relational analysis, the operating data of one pump station in 24 hours a day was calculated and evaluated, and the result shows the feasibility of this EEA methodology for various energy systems, which provides a fresh idea for comprehensive evaluation of energy efficiency.

Abstract: The development zone, which consists of freight traffic mostly and a few part of passenger traffic, and which forms of area traffic flow in the internal zone, and which has the significant characteristic of external transport playing an important role, has the different road network evaluation with other general cities. This paper, connecting with the traffic planning characteristics, constructs highway network evaluation indexes of development zone both at the structural performance and the running quality of road network. Moreover, this article, on the basis of the analyses of the comprehensive evaluation methods and the characteristics of evaluation index system, creates the road network evaluation model of development zone that is the gray relational analysis based on the OWA operator to determine the combination weight using the AHP and Entropy as the basis methods. Finally, by the empirical research, it verifies the feasibility and scientific of the evaluation indexes and method.
