Abstract: High-speed machining is playing a more important role in modern manufacturing technology. The feed system of high-speed machine tool is one of the most important components. The linear motor has been widely used in high-speed machine tool. In this paper,a kind of machine tool feed system directly driven by a linear motor is introduced,and its technical parameters are analyzed and calculated. The main parameters’ influence factors and best scope are given out.These results can offer theoretical basis for manufacturing machining technology.

Abstract: This paper studies the modeling method based on RBF (Radial-Basis Function) neural network according to its learning ability, and a new neural network online model has been set up. The comparison and analysis result of the case studies shows that, when changing the working condition, the compensation effect of online modeling method is better than offline modeling method and the online model can better reflect the thermal characteristics of High-speed machine tool.

Abstract: To design a machine tool successfully, its essential parts should be analyzed and evaluated after design but before prototype being made. The spindle assembly is one of the most essential parts of high speed machine tool, so how the dynamic characteristics of the spindle assembly affect the performance of high speed NC machine tool are of great significance and should be studied. This paper’s research is based on a high speed machine tool manufactured by some plant. The finite element analysis model of the spindle assembly of the high speed machine tool was developed by taking the advantage of the spring-damper element to simulate the bearing supports. The modal analysis was made to confirm the dynamic characteristics of the spindle assembly, and the results were compared with the testing ones.

Abstract: One of the important factors resulting in the high-speed machinery performance is its machine tool dynamic characteristic. It will directly influence the final manufacturing capability of the machinery and it is also the important criterion of evaluating machinery performances. Especially, the dynamic characteristic of spindle assembly has large effect on manufacturing capability of machinery. So it is very important both analyzing dynamic-static characteristic of the spindle assembly and machine tool of high-speed machinery and studying the effect to machinery function. Using Finite Element Analysis software did a Finite Element Analysis of spindle assembly of the high-speed machine tool, and some experiments are done to validate the result the Finite Element Analysis results.
