Abstract: In recent years, high speed railway technology has developed rapidly in China. Long routing of high-speed trains, low temperatures, corrosive environments and sand damage are unique to China’s operating environment. As an important safety component of rolling stock, the safety and reliability of the wheels is of deep concern and high value. It is significant to carefully study and systematically summarize the damage from different failure types in high-speed railway wheels under current conditions, and determine the influencing factors and mechanisms of wheel failures in order to improve railway operation safety. In this paper, the damage forms of high-speed railway wheels in China are introduced, and the main influencing factors of wheel failure are discussed in combination with wheel damage characteristics. What’s more, damage mechanism is analyzed aiming at providing theoretical references for reducing failure rate and improving train operation quality.

Abstract: Safety management system is a kind of aviation safety management idea[1]. With the mileage increase of the high-speed railway of China, there is an urgent need to establish a structured safety management system according to its own characteristics, which can ensure the safe operation of high-speed railway. First this paper considers the life cycle of high-speed railway, then learns aviation safety management system, and studies the operation characteristics of high-speed railway, finally this paper establishes the system based on the theory of PDCA、risk management, and the principle of the system. The safety management system of high-speed railway have four modules: the basic module, operation module, supervision module, improvement module.

Abstract: Carrying capacity calculation at high-speed railway stations is closely related to the trains with different types and arriving rules. Traditional method is not feasible to calculate and evaluate carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations efficiently and accurately. Therefore, a method to calculate carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations was presented by establishing a route selection optimization model and designing corresponding algorithm. In the method, the integration concept of calculating carrying capacity was introduced by establishing the relationship between receiving dispatching route and arrival-departure track. An approach was provided to the solution of route selection scheme and calculating carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations efficiently and accurately by considering the differences of trains with different operation modes and operation time. Case study of Jinan West railway station verifies the feasibility of the method. The presented method can provide a technical support for calculating and evaluating carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations in different scenarios.

Abstract: The night train was greatly welcomed by the market because of its advantages of excellent arrival-departure time, comfortable and time saving. Now, with the development and perfection of national high-speed rail network, the basic condition of operating night train on high-speed railway has been provided. This article analyzes the adaptability of night trains running on the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway based on condition of vehicles and servicing depots along the way and then puts forward correlated suggestions. Based upon the operation scheme date of night trains on Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, the allocation plan of night train has been studied under the existing system of railway management in our country, which has the certain realistic directive significance to practical application.

Abstract: Concrete bridges on high-speed railway are usually constructed with high strength concrete. Because of shrinkage of concrete, large stress and deformation always appear in construction and operation process of bridges. It even leads to concrete cracking. So as to guarantee the safety of structures and smoothness of tracks, correct calculation of concrete shrinkage effect must be done. Concrete shrinkage effect is a very complex non-stress strain problem which is influenced by numerous factors and difficult to calculate. According to the factors considered from different emphasis aspects, a variety of patterns or specifications are formed based on different domestic and foreign models of concrete shrinkage calculation. Combined with the construction of Jiangshan Harbor Bridge (75+2×135+75) m prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge on Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed railway, concrete shrinkage field tests and measurements were carried in which the same mix of high strength concrete as that of the bridge was used. The results of tests and measurements were compared with results of different theoretical models. The effects of high strength concrete shrinkage on high-speed railway concrete bridges were studied and some useful conclusions were obtained.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the influence of ChangJiu High-speed Railway on power quality. Compared with the traditional AC-DC electric locomotive, AC-DC-AC electric locomotive has been widely used in High-speed Railway which harmonic content decreased significantly, power factor also improved. Based on the RTDS simulation, voltage sags have not been caused when electric locomotive is starting.

Abstract: Combined with the characteristics of the high-speed railway regional environment system, the paper establishes a cumulative environment impact assessment model with the system dynamics in the high-speed railway regional, which is divided into three subsystems: economic, environment and pollution subsystems. Each subsystem is refined into a number of state indexes. The feedback relationships is set up between each state index and various subsystems, based on the Matrix method, Delphi, Analytic Hierarchy Process and environmental carrying capacity to establish comprehensive evaluation model of the cumulative environment impact assessment in the high-speed railway region. Finally the Chang-Yi high-speed railway is taken as an example. This paper is of the important theory and practice significance to promote the cumulative impact assessment level and social environment benefit of the high-speed railway regions.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the command mode of high speed railway (HSR) train dispatching based on control system CTCS-3.In order to draw up the optimum allocation plan of time and space resources for HSR, a basic concept of management and control integration was proposed in this paper, including the HSR train coordination scheduling, the structure of hardware and software, and the theory of train operation. Furthermore, the basic framework of train operation dispatching command system based on the integration of management and control was designed to optimize the HSR operation and organization.

Abstract: This paper defines a new method of modeling the running line by describing a station with the station plan, which originally is just a point of the line. It analyzes the problems of using the original method to calculate the brake point. Then this paper provide an algorithm of forward prediction based on clock-step method to calculate the brake point, the result is proved more accurate and more feasible.

Abstract: We discussed the crew scheduling rules for High-speed railway in China. These rules are mainly relates to crew members and railway operators. One of the aims to establish the rules is to protect the legitimate rights and interests of crew members, and the other is to reduce the operating cost as possible. The idea of biological evolution for engineering optimization problems has been developed for years, the applicability of different algorithms were compared to solve this problem. It shows that simulated evolution method is more applicable and then discussed the main steps of using method SE method to deal with this problem. Finally, based on the computer technology, we designed a prototype system.
