Abstract: The test methods provided by current related "specifications" do not apply to saline soil soft foundation bearing capacity test. Through discussing the limitations of the related specifications and based on the experience on saline soil soft ground capacity test, the paper made some improvements of test on such aspects: conditions of loading and stopping load, determination of the characteristic value of the ground bearing capacity and evaluation, the paper also put forward the saline soil soft ground capacity test method.

Abstract: Approach slab is mainly used to slowdown or reduce uneven settlement of bridge heads as far as possible. Setting approach slab at back of bridges and culverts is an effective and necessary way to avoid faulting slab ends between abutment and road in high-grade highway. It has come into general application and achieved good results. But nowadays, approach slab is designed based on previous experience or being set a size parameter directly instead of being made a special design. Theory and experience that the design based on is unreasonable. Author confirm the need for setting approach slab and give the reference value about length of approach slab for different grade highway according to analysis and study on the forced state of the moving vehicles at highway-bridge junction with or without approach slab.

Abstract: The paper put forward allowable deformation of highway is the premise of the study on problems of highway influenced by coal mining subsidence. Base on the analysis of correlative regulations and highway characteristics, the research pointed out a certain deformation value is not suitable for judging the safety of highway influenced by coal mining subsidence and the criterion of allowable deformation with considering the structure and the material of highway must be established. Using curvature as the allowable deformation index, The paper derived the criterion formula of the allowable deformation of highway and calculated the allowable deformation interval of common highway in China. The achievement is useful for solving correlative problems in the future.

Abstract: Based on a typical loess landslide of K135+514 ~ +678 section of a Highway in Shaanxi Province, the formation mechanism and the possible failure mode of the loess landslide are analyzed, and the stability of the loess landslide is evaluated. The calculation results show that the landslide is in a stable ~ basically stable state during natural condition and in unstable state after working condition. According to the basis of those analyses, the treating measures of the landslide are put forward. At last after the schemes’ comparison the "anti-slide pile + unloading + slope drainage+ plant greening" comprehensive control scheme is determined, this has certain reference significance for the similar engineering in the future.

Abstract: For studying the mechanism of the influence of highway project investment risk factors, this paper identify the 12 key potential risk factors. In accordance with KMO test and Bartlet, the test is divided into three sources of risk: the idea of risk management, risk control environment and risk management control, which proposes theoretical models and hypotheses to the cross-bridge. China Railway 12th Bureau 21 units of 125 employees as an object of research, using structural equation model AMOS 18.0 statistics software to verify the theoretical model and research hypotheses. The results show that risk management concept and risk control environment have positive correlation, Concept of risk management and risk management control have positive relationship. There is a positive correlation between risk management and risk management controls. Based on the empirical research conclusion, it puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.

Abstract: With the development of highway construction and technology, various highways could be integrated via the Internet. According to the relevant highway map, we could notice the serious loop network problem. To provide useful information for the highway companies, we need to identify the path of vehicles on the highway network by using the sharing information of highways. This research analyzes some polysomic identification of path about several main expressways; furthermore, it provides a new path-identification method that is the time scheduling match based on the dynamic weights. The new path-identification method includes the later polysomic analysis and statistical analysis on the flow of vehicles, which is able to offer the highway companies sound information. Moreover, the research also establish the smart analysis system about path based on the sharing information of highways, then using data to test the efficiency of the analysis system.

Abstract: There exists many shortcomings in automotive collision avoidance system, signal interference is very serious, which led to false frequently, this is an important reason why the perfect vehicle collision avoidance system is not consummate and widely popular. We study and propose a new solution of highway automotive collision avoidance, by the control of time the precise synchronization, interaction between the vehicle lane, speed, time, and other information, which solve the problem of signal interference greatly. Thus, his new solution provides a split-new thinking and research direction for highway automotive collision avoidance.

Abstract: Combined with the construction survey of the large-scale bridge, the essential precision is discussed for GPS control network of Highway Bridge. The method of constrained adjustment for GPS network is highlighted to assure the reasonable link of centerlines between the highway and the bridge.

Abstract: Because the backfill of highway bridge embankment is not dense enough and the located in the hard and soft transition area, the big settlement that threats the safety of driving usually occurs when influenced by the impact load of high-speed vehicles. According to statistic of investigation of the accidents on certain highway, the difference between settlements in bridge abutment and bridge back is around 32mm to 100mm. This kind of big settlement difference is the main reason for bumping and other problems harming the operation of highway. In this paper we experimentally use horizontal bamboo bars used in the construction of side bridge embankment to deal with the continuous backfill settlement, which is effective. Bar pile to treat the settlement of highway embankment backfill is one of the economical, reliable and effective treatment without constructional occupation of driving lanes.
