Abstract: Topographic mapping and modeling is one of the most basic and important work in hydraulic engineering construction. This paper present a work flow which contains data measurement, pre-process and post-process with three dimensional laser scan technology. By adopting B-tree and its expansion structure, a multi-level point cloud management and storage method has been established. Then propose a contour generation method based on scan data and the equivalent point interpolation data. A self-adaptive mesh Delaunay algorithm is introduced with point cloud data in order to generate triangular irregular network digital elevation model. Finally, the modeling accuracy and error has been analysis, the results proves this method is with high efficient and accuracy and can be provide assistance for the project construction.

Abstract: With the increasingly serious global environmental problems, environmental education is an important part of the quality education on hydraulic engineering in colleges. The main methods of environmental education include specialized education, infiltration education and organizational environment education , etc. The global environmental problems can be associated with university education itself through environmental education, and then promote the development of environmental protections and the development of environmental protection industry.

Abstract: With the rapid development of engineering construction and gradual introduction of the bidding system, project cost estimation model continues to deepen. How to estimate engineering cost fast and accurately become one of the hot topics currently. In this paper, the characteristics of large-scale water project investment risk is combined to establish a neural network model suited for large-scale water project cost, through quantitating the main features of each category of water conservancy and combining neural network model established to quickly estimate water project cost with the toolbox. After engineering examples show that it is a fast and reliable water project cost estimation method.

Abstract: The rough set theory is a new method for analyzing and dealing with data. By using this theory, we proposed a risk assessment algorithm based on rough set theory, which was described in detail in this paper. the decision table can be simplified and redundant attributes can be got rid of A method of inference based on the knowledge of rough sets and an example to show how to acquire the rules of new decision making, thus filling the method with a practical and publicizing value are given.

Abstract: In dam seepage line monitoring process, dam saturation line "inverted siphon" phenomenon appeared. In order to study the time effect, indoor model test were done. The dam seepage line rules and conditions were determined. The results show that when the reservoir water level dips, the dam seepage line with the decreasing of the water level will drop. But the changing has lagged far behind. Hysteresis and permeability dam, seepage path length, the upstream water level and other factors related to the rate of decline.

Abstract: Understanding the influences of water level on seepage stability of tailing bay is an important topics in hydraulic engineering design. The seepage stability of tailing bay under different water level was calculated with the numerical simulation software FLAC3D and the change laws of water pore pressure and saturation line in the dam was analyzed. The results show that the saturation line in the dam is a parabolic curve and the pore pressure changes in layers. With the increasing of water level, the saturation line in the heaping dam ups rather obviously while it is not obvious in the initial dam. The maximum pore pressure in the bottom of the dam increases with the relationship of water level up, the shallow of the saturation line is in the heaping dam heel.

Abstract: Xiabandi hydraulic engineering is located in southern Xinjiang Pamirs, with the characteristics of" three high and one deep ", namely high-altitude, high seismic intensity, high slope and deep overburden[. Therefore, treatment of deep overburden dam is a thorny problem, deal with problem of dam foundation deep overburden for quality and safe operation of the project is very important. This paper sitting under the hydraulic engineering project, according to the difficulty of construction, seepage effects and costs and other standards for deep overburden seepage form a comparison study, the final selection of a combination of vertical seepage curtain wall forms to solve the deep cover layer impermeable problems and provide valuable experience for future similar projects in design and construction[2-4].
