Abstract: In order to accelerate the development of smart cities in Indonesia, the government launched a program called "100 Smart Cities Movement". This program was implemented from 2017 to 2019 by guiding 100 selected cities/regencies in stages. In 2018 (2nd year), Boyolali Regency has become one of the regencies selected to receive technical guidance regarding smart cities. This research aims to identify and analyze the implementation of smart city in Boyolali Regency, especially the priority programs for each dimension. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method using data in the form of in-depth interviews with key figures and documentation results. Boyolali Smart City has six priority programs, including: SIPAD, SIPP, SIMAPI, Indrokilo Botanical Garden, Si Teri Lapar, and i-Boyolali. Each of the priority programs has been running well and has had a positive impact on the community, especially the people of Boyolali Regency. However, in the implementation of the smart city programs there are still several obstacles and shortcomings, so evaluation and improvement is still needed so that the Boyolali smart city can be more optimal.

Abstract: Relevance of research of construction company’s strategy implementation process is determined by the necessity to improve its competitiveness in conditions of instability and changes. The aim of the research is to specify the problematic aspects of a special stage of strategic management – the stage of strategy implementation. As a result, the following system of managerial actions and procedures for the strategy implementation process of a construction company was justified: creation of organizational conditions (changing the organizational structure and organizational culture of a construction company, system of motivation, staff competencies and management style); adjustment of a company's management system for achieving its strategic goals and objectives; creation of a special system for monitoring the process of strategy implementation; formation of a mechanism for adaptation of a strategy and / or external and internal environment of a construction company to achieve its strategic goals.

Abstract: In this short review paper, the physical and mechanical properties of acacia wood, poly lactic acid (PLA) and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) were analyzed. Existing factors that affect the mechanical properties of natural fiber composites were investigated and identified. By knowing these factors, a possibility and potentiality in implementing the natural acacia wood reinforced material with hybrid polymer were discussed. It was found that the acacia wood had the potential to re-condition soil and have the potential to become reinforced materials in hybrid polymer composites. In addition, using fully biodegradable polymer such as PLA and PHA made it sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Abstract: The analysis and implementation of this paper is applied to a real game boxing machine. The contents of this game boxing machine are consists of three parts that are the UNITY, programming and hardware development. Therefore, in order to have RPG role-play boxing game inside of real game boxing machine, this paper firstly analyzes user requirement and then implement the combined-use in the traditional large boxing machines that will let the players to face the need considering how to fight the contents of RPG role-play boxing game. Moreover, in order to save more time to make 3D animations, motion capture equipment is used called MOCAP to generate characteristics, hero, monsters, and beautiful girls. All body movements of characteristics inside of game boxing machine captured by MOCAP are tied to the body of the head, limbs and torso. Furthermore, those body movements will PhaseSpace to our servers via the Internet passing out after the signal processing MotionBuilder software for recording and output operation. The output file can be transformed into the skeleton and action graphic model and using MAYA software can also do the same way. All procedures in this RPG role-play boxing game design have been successfully interacted both machine side and play side with fun and game new life, and to integrate the actual situation of the game for the future.

Abstract: The paper presents a modern solution for the hydrogenerator protection implementation when its running in the motor regime is detected. Such protection function implementation is performed by a digital equipment organized around an embedded system. This equipment must be connected (locally or remote) to a computer for the configuration of the protection function and the set of the characteristic parameters. The digital equipment also performs the monitoring and display of several characteristic parameters of the hydrogenerator and allows obtaining very useful records for the post-failure analysis. The presented solution is successfully used in hydropower plants, as the results obtained in real conditions of hydrogenerator operation confirm it.

Abstract: Bridge Management System (BMS) is an important tool which can help to manage huge number of bridges while efficiently utilizes limited fund for maintenance. Although major bridge failure is uncommon in Sabah, the concern for future adversity must be considered. The current status of the implantation of BMS in Sabah were studied and subsequently identifying the difficulties to implement the system locally. Interviews were done in Jabatan Kerja Raya, Headquarter and districts. Five locations were selected for observation. It was discovered that the implementation status of JKR BMS is still far from a successful implementation.

Abstract: For the application of Additive Manufacturing (AM), a wide range of use cases are applied in industrial practice. The technological potentials of AM enable specific business models, which characterise how AM utilisation adds value to a company’s business. For the implementation of AM, a paradigm shift is required on an operational and strategic level, making it necessary to adjust processes and structures. Herein, the interdisciplinary character of the technology needs to be taken into account. In this paper, a typology of AM business models is derived from specific technology potentials, providing orientation in the field of AM use cases. Furthermore, a top down approach is pursued in order to develop an implementation process model, which assists companies when considering AM adoption. It enables companies to identify suitable AM business models and points out fields of actions necessary for implementation. Since the implementation depends on the AM business model at scope, also guidelines that provide measures on a more detailed level are presented.

Abstract: Today competitive manufacturing requires innovative approaches in the production management, as well as for customer satisfaction. Production management requires an effective and efficient maintenance management system. One approach to improve the performance of the maintenance system is through the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The key performance index to measure the effectiveness of TPM implementation is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The TPM activities will eliminate equipment losses related to availability, performance rate, and quality rate. Hence, the TPM implementation will increase the OEE value. This paper outlines the theories of TPM and OEE. The paper also presents the studies carried out by different authors to show the improvement of OEE through implementation of TPM in manufacturing, such as electronic industry, steel manufacturer, as well as locomotive components manufacturer.

Abstract: In order to ensure good performance and extend the lifetime of li-ion batteries in electric cars, effective real-time monitoring and management must be valued. This paper designs an electric vehicle battery management system based on a smart battery monitoring chip, DS2438. It integrates the measurement of battery's temperature, voltage, current, and power as a whole, which not only simplifies the circuit, but also saves system cost. The battery’s SOC (State Of Charge) can be easily estimated and displayed in this design. It improves the reliability of power battery pack and prolonged its life, which can be used as reference to battery management system design and application.

Abstract: Bohai Sea is a fragile ecological and economic area with frequent oil pollution. On the basis of the actual business demands of oil spill emergency companies in Bohai, this paper puts forward to building the oil spill emergency response platform with "decision-makers view", which created an extendable emergency platform with Smart Client framework suitable for multi department cooperation and growing applications. The platform contains four main modules: (I) forecast and decision; (II) decision supports; (III) auxiliary supports; (IV) framework management. At the same time, the platform realizes many kinds of auxiliary analytical functions such as monitoring analysis, sensitive area analysis, case analysis, resource allocation etc with WebService and GIS technologies. It automatically provides a comprehensive decision list to the decision-maker before emergency actions. The application of the platform will shorten much time of the emergency preparation compared with manual brain decision, and improve the efficiency of the oil spill emergency greatly.
