Abstract: Planar Schottky contact and various trench Schottky contacts have been integrated into the edge termination region of a 4H-SiC trench metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect-transistor (MOSFET). The forward and reverse characteristics of various design splits have been benchmarked to determine the optimum method of the Schottky contact integration. As a result, the trench Schottky diode with Schottky metal contact in both the planar surface and the trench sidewall surface has been able to offer the best performance.

Abstract: In general, planning and scheduling of production are treated separately under the hierarchical strategy. Then, over the time, the iterative strategy appeared which partially considers the scheduling constraints during planning, except that the latter remains unsatisfactory because there is no guarantee that these constraints are taken into account. For this, is born the integrated strategy which integrates planning and scheduling and aims to solve the problem and define a feasible production plan. Since capacity constraints don’t reflect reality in terms of resource availability, and they are not always considered, capacity becomes aggregated. To remedy this problem, it is necessary to integrate more precise constraints of scheduling at the planning level. Based on this observation, we propose in this article a new model that integrates planning and scheduling and considers the constraint of resource availability. In our model, the objective function optimizes the total cost of production for a mono-level job-shop problem. To solve this N-P difficult problem we use a stochastic approached method as genetic algorithm (GA).

Abstract: The process planning of a product represents in the manufacturing industry a major element that determines the level of economic performance of the company. The development and evaluation of process planning during the industrialization phase of a product can cause problems of quality, cost or manufacturing time. Therefore, process planning needs to be evaluated early, during the design phase. The aim of this article is to propose to a manufacturing company a hybrid approach of multicriterion decision support, allowing evaluating the concepts proposed by the designer to choose the best concept having the best industrial performance indicators, and to take into account the opinions of experts from different departments of the company. The multicriterion choice is made by the hybridization of the ROC method and the PROMETHEE method, and the decision criteria are indicators that express the performance of a process planning. Then, to illustrate the capacity of the model, a case study of a product is presented.

Abstract: This article concerns the integration of planning and scheduling production system. Planning and scheduling are usually treated separately because of their complexity. Scheduling largely depends on the production quantities computed at the production planning level. However, ignoring scheduling constraints in the tactical level leads to inconsistent decisions. So, it is important to integrate planning and scheduling to efficiently manage operations and to determine a realistic production plan for a given sequence of jobs on each machine. In this paper, we present some approaches proposed to solve the problem and we realize a comparison between the two most interesting ones, using the standard solver CPLEX.

Abstract: Nowadays, as the consumption of traditional materials has caused serious urban environmental problems, more and more people are seeking ways to solve it. Using alternative materials such as environmentally friendly materials is a way to tackle the problem from the source itself. Combining with the study of landscape infrastructure, which is a new way to dig into problems of a city, they can be much more practically significant. This paper summarizes the features and properties of environmentally friendly materials, then analyzes cases of applying environmentally friendly materials through the research and formation of landscape infrastructure. Through the usage of environmentally friendly materials, these projects ease the contradiction between traditional materials and environment and between development and ecology. Finally, realize the sustainable development of cities and the coordination between man and nature.

Abstract: Accurate material data shared in product lifecycle is the basis of manufacturing industry informationization. But material coding rule is usually different in enterprises. The code rule definition model based on code segment unit was proposed, and the segment unit was divided into four types as flow, selection, input and conversion according to code generating way. The concept of code segment structure tree was proposed to support the code method’s adaptability. The E-R model of adaptable coding system was described. The integration model of coding system, CAD, CAPP, PDM and ERP was put forward. Based on the model, generating code before design, generating code after design and generating code offline modes were proposed. Taking a specific material code rule in an enterprise as an example, the coding system’s application method was studied. The example shows that the proposed coding method is adaptable and effective.

Abstract: Nowadays the world of manufacturing and production has been encountered with a constantly changing behavior’s of customers. Moreover in the global market, a company can survive if it has the efficient capabilities for rapid product development. These capabilities are known to be important and they mainly affect on the market penetration and cost reduction. One way to enhance such capabilities is to integrate the essential activities of a manufacturing with the help of information technology. In recent years, the researchers have proposed integration of the computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacture (CAM) and computer-aided process planning (CAPP) as the main phases of product development lifecycle. These phases play an important role in the manufacturing environment and their integration will result in high-class production with minimum lead time. This paper focuses on the die design and process planning activities to produce the molds seamlessly . It studies the recent works on integration solutions and proposes an integration framework for glass bottle manufacturing companies. The paper considers the integration of the part design, macro process planning and the mold design activities. Moreover, the solution has used the ISO 10303 (STEP standard-International Standard for the Exchange of Product data). The novel aspects of the framework have been discussed through a case study. The case study highlights the integration of glass bottle design, process planning and bottle mold design to show the capabilities of the proposed framework.

Abstract: In this work, we study the effect of the geometrical and technological parameters on the performance of stacked transformer in crystal metal oxide silicon (CMOS). It also presents the equivalent electrical model of on-chip stacked transformer based on the “2-p” architecture and contains the equations to evaluate its components values. These equations depend on both technological and geometric characteristics of the transformer. The inductance (primary or secondary) and the quality factor (primary or secondary) of on chip stacked transformer depend on the geometrical and technological parameters. We study the effect of the geometrical and technological parameters of on chip transformer, so to establish a methodology of its dimensioning and consequently its integration in a chip. The various geometrical and technological parameters that influence the performance of the transformer: capacitance between primary and secondary coils, oxide capacitance between the (primary coil, secondary coil) and substrate, substrate ohmic loss, and substrate capacitance.

Abstract: The paper presents the method of mapping functioning of a 3D model of reciprocating motion drives of a robotic system, which is the final stage of a works transport system, created in the Siemens PLM NX 8.5 CAD/CAE environment. For this purpose, the 3D model of the considered robotized system, prepared for motion simulation in the “Motion Simulation” module of the Siemens NX system. In the elaborated model was defined the suitable components of the system and the joints between them. These components and joints were defined in such a way as it is possible to map functioning of a real drive in a virtual environment. The basis of functioning of such created drive model is information transmitted from a virtual controller basing on the DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) standard of data exchange. In the adopted communication method between the CAD system and the virtual PLC controller is required to transfer displacement values at individual nodes in such a way as to map functioning of the real system. Therefore in the control program of a virtual controller is stored functioning characteristic of the considered drives system of the reciprocating motion. As the result of conducted work the virtual 3D model, prepared in a system of the CAD/CAE class, was integrated with the virtual controller, taking into account the mapping of functioning characteristic of drives.
