Abstract: Aiming at the performance evaluation of mixed-mode sensing interface of the integrated-sensor RFID system, an integrated-sensor RFID system was constructed. Then the mechanism of performance evaluation of mixed-mode interface was analyzed. According to the validity and reliability principle, a mixed-mode interface performance testing model was established. Moreover, a Plug-and-Play performance testing method was presented. Finally, the physical platform was set up to test the reading speed and the recognition rate indicator in Plug-and-Play process. Results showed the reading speeds of two STIM maintained at around 656.56ms and 645.24ms steadily during Plug-and-Play process whose Bit Error Rate was 10e-9. Experiments indicate that effective transverse comparison of performance of similar products could be implemented by the proposed method in static environment as well as dynamic environment.

Abstract: Based on agricultural machinery body posture detection parameters and wheels gesture detection parameters collected by gyro inertial measurement unit, an agricultural machinery operation posture rapid detection method is proposed in this paper. The test results show that, the test results of the method are accurate and available, and the method is effective and available for real-time body and wheel status data to further understand the agricultural machinery.

Abstract: As an important aspect of the environmental protection, there has been a problem of the high cost and low accuracy for the accurate measurement of the discharge sewage. Introduced a kind of improved slab intelligent sensor for flow measurement which is the independent research and development, its principle of the system, hardware design and software structure. Through compared the data of the flow testing experiment of the Parshall flume in the laboratory, the average error of the improved sensor is 1.76%, greatly reduced the error of the old one, the sensor makes the precise and low cost requirements come true, and has a broad application prospect in the market.

Abstract: To study the communication problem between the intelligent sensor and the host computer or the remote teminal and design a converter.The converter is based on the microprocessor ATMEGA644.Data received from the input interface circuit and repackaged according to massage frame format of the output bus and sent to the destination. Verified the reliability of the converter by means of the experiment of digital temperature sensor DS1621 which output is I2C.The converter is able to meet most applications.

Abstract: In order to accurately get the concrete pier temperature field, this paper briefly introduces the types, advantages and disadvantages, development of temperature sensors and the composition, function and measurement accuracy of LTM-8663 intelligent temperature monitoring system. The system has high measurement precision, so we can measure the temperature field by it. In order to certify the rationality of test methods, taking a concrete pier section model as an example, we use the system to measure its sunshine temperature fields in different ways of embedding sensor. According to the comparative analysis of sunshine temperature fields measured in pier section model, we get useful conclusions and recommendations to be provided references for the concrete temperature measurement in piers and other structures.

Abstract: This paper introduces application of the intelligent sensor in the yarn quality online detection. Using computer control techniques,Adopting the high accuracy intelligent laser sensor to detect the yarn diameter, display and print out the real-time evenness of the yarn by analyzing the yarn sampled datas. The device is more portable, forward-looking, intelligent and low cost, It is the development direction of the yarn quality testing in cotton factory.

Abstract: Designing a robust condition monitoring system for a machine tool spindle is an important task because the spindle has a significant effect on the processing quality. In this study, a solar-powered wireless sensor system is installed inside the spindle and is used to monitor the machine tool processing state in real time, thereby improving the processing quality. Accelerometer sensors are employed to estimate tool wear; these sensors monitor the vibration of the spindle. The vibration monitoring data of the high-speed spindle is wirelessly transmitted to an external information device in real time. As an alternative to sensors that employ wired power transmission, a solar energy transmission system has been developed to provide the required electric power to the sensor system. The experimental results show that the proposed system successfully measures the vibration frequency of the rotational machine tool spindle.

Abstract: In order to enhance reliability and maintainability of ship monitoring system, this paper proposed a CANopen protocol-based intelligent sensor which can simultaneously monitor rotational speed and temperature. With the presented intelligent sensor, the data collection and sensor control can be achieved easily and effectively. Experiments were conducted, which showed that the presented intelligent sensor could simplify the ship monitoring system, make the maintenance easier and improve reliability of ship monitoring greatly.

Abstract: Terms and definitions in the field of sensors and measuring systems with the elements of artificial intelligence are not well-established. Nowadays, in Russia a draft of state standard “Intelligent Sensors and Intelligent Measuring Systems. Basic Terms and Definitions” is being under development. In accordance with the draft of the standard, the paper deals both with definitions and grounds of a number of terms such as “adaptive sensor”, “metrological self-check of sensors”, “metrological diagnostic check”, “intelligent sensor”, etc.
