Abstract: Lip seal, widely used in industries, is usually applied to seal pressure chamber. Leakage of lip seal has always been a primary problem. In the present study, hydrodynamic property of lubricating film and elastic deformation of sealing lip are analyzed numerically by coupling Reynolds equation and elastic deformation equation. A numerical model for calculating leakage is proposed, results of the analysis will be of help to interference design and structure optimization for auto water pump bearing’s seal.

Abstract: Affected by high or low environment temperature, the measurement accuracy of watt-hour-meter field calibrator may decrease significantly. For the purpose of rejecting temperature interference, a hardware modification scheme for the calibrator prototype, adopting the electronic components with better temperature coefficient, is proposed. The testing results show that the improved prototype can meet the 0.05S measuring precision from-30°C to 55°C.

Abstract: To solve the interference problem during the grinding process of large lead ball nut, a new forming grinding system based on flexible shaft has been designed in this paper. The paper analyzed and compared with three grinding methods including reducing setting angle, deflecting setting angle and adopting flexible shaft grinding system to figure out their influence on possibility, precision and efficiency of grinding. The result shows that the flexible shaft grinding system designed can avoid interference effectively. Additionally, it can also meet the requirement of efficiency and precision when grinding the large lead ball nut.

Abstract: Wireless mesh networks are multi-hop wireless networks whose capacity decreases very fast due to interference from parallel transmissions on the same channel when using orthogonal channels. In order to further eliminate network interference and improve network capacity, partially overlapped channels are used to perform channel assignment, and a discrete particle swarm optimization (DPSO) based channel assignment algorithm using partially overlapped channels is proposed in this paper. Channel assignment for all links is mapped to position of particle, and DPSO is used to evolve and produce better channel assignment solutions. Simulation results show that network performances can be dramatically improved by properly utilizing partially overlapped channels, for example, the average end-to-end delay and the average packet loss ratio both can be decreased by at least 15 percent, and the network throughput can be improved by 12 percent or more.

Abstract: Precision guided weapons (PGWs) have valuable application in field warfare. In order to interfere with Laser, Thermal Infrared (TIR) and Television guidance, this paper intends to research and develop a smoke-generating material that is capable of shielding visible lights, TIR and Millimeter Wave (MMW), based on the attenuation characteristic of expandable graphite to IR and MMW. The formulation is studied by orthogonal design, camouflage effect is verified by experiment, and the material with multiband interfering capacity is preliminarily prepared.

Abstract: In fault detection process of large tanning machine, fault signal fluctuations are susceptibly caused by interference of external environment. The traditional methods are difficult to accurately classify fault detection of such random fluctuations, resulting in latter detection with low accuracy. To avoid these shortcomings, support vector algorithm based on least squares is proposed for fault detection of large tanning machine. Experimental results show that the algorithm can improve the accuracy of fault detection.

Abstract: The measurement performance with the interference is presented with the new DS/FH hybrid spread spectrum signal system. The DS/FH system model is established. The change of the SNR ratio is obtained by analyzing the characteristics of three kinds of interference signal such as partial-band noise jamming (PBNJ), wide-band noise jamming (WBNJ) and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). Then the ranging and velocity measurement performance is got through the simulation.

Abstract: s: In this article, results of an analysis is investigated by using a data mining tool called ‘SPSS’, to identify the flow characteristics and response of an elastically mounted circular cylinder at different interference conditions. Numerical investigation is performed on a range of longitudinal gap ratios (2.0 ≤ L/D ≤ 4) and transverse gap ratios (2.0 ≤ T/D ≤ 4) between the cylinders arranged in tandem and staggered configuration. The effects of the interference cylinders were analyzed at specific relative positions were observed and it has been identified that the parameters, reduced velocity (U/fD) and relative positions were significantly influences the flow induced vibration excitation. Hence, in this article, an accent is laid on the efficient of ‘SPSS Tool’ for analyzing the results of flow induced vibration excitation in an elastically mounted circular cylinder at different interference conditions. From the results, it is observed that, reduced velocity must be lesser than the threshold value and also the observed that the relative positions (spacing ratios) is playing a significant role when compared to the reduced velocity. Further, the results shows that, at the fluid flow characteristics of elastically mounted circular cylinder in staggered arrangement with two interfering cylinders in upstream conditions the oscillatory amplitude ratio (A/D=0.250) is found to be minimum.

Abstract: In existing literature ,there is no unified time for the evaporating excessive acid to microwave digestion solution of different samples. a new method was developed .The interference from nitrite ion and volatile nitrogen oxides which were generated during digestion were quickly removed by the adding urea and heating with boiling water. The interference from nitrate was studied. Optimized conditions of determination of arsenic with hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry. The detection limit was 0.3μg·L-1 and minimum quantitative detection limit was 1.0μg·L-1, the relative standard deviation of standard addition method in sample was 1.1% and recovery from 98 % to 102%.
