Abstract: The development of Ag3PO4 photocatalyst for dye waste treatment is necessary because of its superiority compared to other materials. In this research, Ag3PO4 was synthesized with AgNO3 and HAp from milkfish bones. Syntesis was done by simple ion-exchange method. In this research, composition of AgNO3:HAp are 1:0.1; 1:0.3; and 1:0.5 to determine the optimum composition. Based on XRD results, it shows that ion-exchange process between phosphate ions from HAp milkfish bones and Ag+ from AgNO3 was imperfect. It was shown from the presence of HAp peaks in synthesis results. Furthermore, the diffraction pattern showed that AgNO3:HAp 1:0.1 composition has the best cristalinity. Based on SEM characterization, it shows that all compositions have majority shape as spherical and small part at AgNO3/HAp 1:0.5 composition has nanorod morphology. It was also known that material with composition of AgNO3:HAp 1:0.1; 1:0.3 and 1:0.5 have average size are 100.76 nm, 92.31 nm and 107.51. From UV-Vis spectroscopy data processing, it represent the value of direct band gap of material is 3.83 eV and the value of indirect band gap is 3.6 eV. It also shows the degradation value of methylene blue with the best value was shown in AgNO3:HAp 1:0.3 composition with 47.4%.

Abstract: Na1.614Li0.386Ti6O13 Single crystal was synthesized by a Li+ ion-exchange method from Na2Ti6O13 single crystal in a molten salt of LiNO3. The obtained Na1.614Li0.386Ti6O13 single-crystal is colorless and has the shape of a rod. Na1.614Li0.386Ti6O13 crystallizes in the monoclinic tunnel type structure, space group C2/m, and lattice parameters a = 15.144(2) Å, b = 3.7492(5) Å, c = 9.162(2) Å and β = 99.0131(9)º. The structure was determined by a single-crystal X-ray study and refined to the conventional values of R = 0.0247 and wR = 0.0451 for 969 independent observed reflections.

Abstract: Copper-carried zirconium phosphates (CuZrPs) were prepared by introducing copper ions into sodium zirconium phosphate (ZrP) through an ion-exchange method, and characterized by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The antibacterial activity and water resistance of CuZrPs were also investigated. The research results indicated that CuZrP-3 containing 10.86 mass% of copper exhibited excellent antibacterial activity and water resistance.

Abstract: Nickel(II) phthalocyanine complexes encapsulated in X-type Zeolite were constructed by the ‘Ship-in-bottle’ synthesis, whose characterizations were performed by fluorescent X-ray, UV-vis, reflectance, and ESR spectroscopic methods. UV-vis and Reflectance spectra of NiPc-Na+-X suggested that the Pc ring was synthesized. Solid state ESR spectrum of NiPc-Na+-X gave characteristic pattern for organic radical species. Catalytic oxidation reactivity of the NiPc-Na+-X in homogeneous reaction have been studied for organic substrate in the presence of H2O2.
