Abstract: At present, use of computer aided engineering (CAE) software is rapidly expanding in the manufacturing industry. However, the CAE software is not an easy tool to use because of its versatility and amount of expertise required to understand and evaluate simulation results. So the operation is more complex, and the error rate is higher in the engineering analysis. A CAE Intelligent Assisted Expert System (IAES) that supports Finite Element analysis was proposed and implemented. The CAE IAS is implemented based on VS2012 development environment, which is based on case and rule based reasoning. It is used to guide and assist CAE engineers to analyze the project, so that the accuracy and efficiency of the analysis are greatly improved and the product performance is better optimized.

Abstract: The research and application of artificial intelligence has a very wide range in intelligent robot field. Abstract: Translation or translating is a communicative activity or dynamic process in which the translator makes great effort to thoroughly comprehend a written message or text in the source language and works very hard to achieve an adequate or an almost identical reproduction in the target language version of the written source language message or text. The role of the knowledge base is essential in both comprehension and reformulation. The extent of knowledge acquisitions in each translation depends on the degree to which the translators knowledge base provides the information or knowledge required to deal with the source-language text. Terminology is where most practical problems lie in technical and scientific translation. Generally speaking, translators knowledge base in terminology is inadequate in comprehension and reformulation of terminology. So knowledge acquisition plays an important role in both the comprehension phase and the reformulation phase. This paper mainly explores significant role of information database as a knowledge acquisition tool in terminology translation, one of the most commonly encountered difficulties during technical translation and meanwhile offers useful suggestions of how to use information database and its search result to refine terminology translation

Abstract: The goal of the reasoning system in this study is to identify the most similar failure type or failure cases. As a user inputs all possible requirements (attributes), the inference engine of the system carries out its similarity assessment (inference approaches) and ranks rules or cases from the data base. Various inference approaches are chosen to find out the optimal method for the RBR and CBR system. The CBR system offers two types of inference methods which are hierarchical factors, flat factors without weight. For RBR system, there three types of inference methods are chosen, one is complete matched and the others are partial matched approaches which use the inference capability of CBR.
The performance of developed system is then evaluated by using the real cases from China Steel Corporation (CSC). For the RBR system, performance is directly check the inferred order of the document ranking list. For the CBR system, the effectiveness of each inference method is evaluated by using Recall, Precision, and F-Measure approaches. From the test results, many recommendations are proposed.

Abstract: For the purpose of presenting a practical approach that is contributed to breakthrough product design, we investigated certain firms and their novel products. The findings reveal that cross-industry knowledge acquisition has played an essential role in providing innovative design solutions, and the connotation of this phenomenon is the application of analogical transfer. Based on the cognitive psychology theories, we further discussed the procedures for an analogy-based design, which includes goal-setting, representation, retrieval and mapping. Finally, a systematic design method is proposed.

Abstract: This paper proposes a recognition method for Chinese Noun Phrase based on word co-occurrence directed graph. An input document is firstly scanned in which noun word string is retrieved. Atomic word table and word co-occurrence directed graph is then generated according to the word strings. A search is performed on the graph to find the longest paths with priority weight satisfying certain criteria. The word strings corresponding to the paths are considered as noun phrases. As dimensionality reduction is applied, the scale of the word co-occurrence directed graph is reduced significantly, and thus the efficiency of the algorithm is improved. Experimental results demonstrate that the precision of noun phrase recognition reaches 95.4%.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of knowledge acquisition in equipment fault diagnosis,the paper introduces a method based on improved particle swarm optimization. Firstly the paper transforms the nonlinear equations which describe the system into optimization problem with constriction. Since the equation is nonlinear and multidimensional ,standard particle swarm cant solve the problem due to the weakness of premature. So one improved particle swarm optimization is proposed. During the evolution, density evaluation, clone and mutation operator is proposed under the thought of immunity. The results of simulation show that the immune particle swarm optimization can simulate effectively and acquire the system knowledge.

Abstract: A new method for electronic circuit fault knowledge automatic generation Using PSpice has been put forward based on summarizing development of the intelligent fault diagnosis technology. A new algorithm of generating fault knowledge automatically has been designed by analysing the structure characteristics of the CIR file. The algorithm of search automatically has been designed by analysing the structure characteristic of the OUT file. The DC fault dictionary method has been improved and the fault order according to the minimum distance will guide the user to remove the fault. In the end, through these technologies, the fault knowledge query system has been empoldered. The feasibility of the proposed method has been proved by experiment results.
