Abstract: Design knowledge acquisition, representation and application are key technologies in computer-aided innovation design. It is an important way to improve the innovation capability and core competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises. The present state of the art of theories and tools of computer-aided product innovation design was presented, some key technologies and problems of the computer-aided product innovation design based on knowledge were summarized and analyzed. It was proposed that the ontology-based knowledge modeling based on design process was the base of computer-aided innovation design, The efficient and precise ontology matching method is seeked to efficiently support updating design knowledge by synthetically considering the concept semantics and concept hierarchy structure, and the knowledge association and concept semantic retrieval and reasoning can be better realized by taking into full consideration of semantic relationships of between design knowledges.

Abstract: It is presented the knowledge engineering based design process for tricone bits and the principles of intelligent design systems. Based on Teamcenter, using NX system development software, taking full advantage of the existing design standard, design data, and materials such as design experiences, design criteria, tricone bit models accumulated by industry companies, a knowledge driven intelligent design system for tricone bits has been developed. It is a way of effectively reusing industrial product development knowledge, enhancing effectiveness and quality of product design, and achieving product full life cycle management.

Abstract: The article presents assumptions and the process of construction of an ontology for the knowledge base that concerns industrial processes of metal sheets rolling including heat treatment operations. Creating of an ontology enables to build a knowledge base, which can be understood by both computers and engineers. Such a knowledge base can be used afterwards by intelligent computer techniques helping in solving of encountered problems during production process. The built ontology should be relevant to the nature of the rolling process – it has to take into account sequence of roll passes of the whole rolling process including all control parameters for each pass (e.g. the thickness before and after the pass, time of pass, temperature). Presented process of the construction of the ontology follows an ontology development cycle that should ensure relevance for industrial use of the ontology. The built ontology in the domain of industrial rolling should enable building knowledge base that concerns considered industrial process. One of possibilities is using of the elaborated ontology at construction of an advisory system that supports design of rolling process for a new product, which can be similar to some products made in the past. Other possibilities of utilization of the ontology can be seen in production scheduling or estimation of production costs.

Abstract: The goal of the presented article is a description of an inductive method of knowledge structure creating, which may be applied in a system of an autonomic vehicle control. The paper deals with the relatively simple task of industrial vehicles control, which operate in a specific environment. The information about the environment is achieved from camera mounted on the vehicle. An analysis of the image leads to the construction the knowledge in a form of structure of concepts (i.e. classes) and objects. The proposed approach is illustrated by simple example. The paper describes crucial problems of the proposed knowledge creation, especially concerning initial assumptions about visible phenomena and problems of the knowledge updating (learning). The article attempts to formulate conditions determining a successful usage of the proposed methodology. The main condition is building an efficient methods of searching the proper concept structure.

Abstract: The interoperability among a variety of systems, in or across manufacturing enterprises, has been widely accepted as one of the important factors that affects the efficiency of production. The aim of this study is to deal with the semantic interoperability issues in a product lifecycle management environment. Through the investigation of related works, the need for the formalization of semantic annotation was discovered. This paper addresses this drawback and introduces a framework that uses formalized semantic annotations to assist the knowledge interoperability along a product life cycle.

Abstract: According to the coordinates of the particled graph, the paper presents a secondary pretreatment method which is invariant to translation, scaling and rotation. Having the advantages of efficient and accurate, the new method is significant to image processing. As the core of the pretreatment, orientation pretreatment is described in detail. In combination with the semi-structured data storage model, the new pretreatment method can help to achieve image content retrieval and data mining of a deeper level.

Abstract: This paper would present a new method which is based on knowledge engineering of CATIA V5R19 to design the braking disc. With this method, the work in modeling 3-D model is cut down, it is good for researchers to gain more opportunities to design a kind of braking system which is more safereliable and economy.

Abstract: the cloud-based service is a new type service way to provide the users in distributed environment, but the service model troubles it popularizing. Aiming at the problem, an indirect addressing service method is proposed in the paper. It analyzed the new problems serving in cloud firstly, then comes out a recourse and service invoking model based on indirect addressing, gave out the service actors of the model in detail, studied the package method of the cloud interfaces, produce the knowledge step in the indirect addressing mode of resources distribution. The analysis proves the method with some advantages, and it proposes a new way to settle the service problem in cloud.

Abstract: Obtaining the fault information online may eliminate many potential fatal accidents, in order to inspect and resolve the online fault diagnosis problem in process industry, an online fault diagnosis model based on IoT(Internet of Things) is proposed in the paper. the model is composed as four layer of user layer, application layer, basic technology layer and resources layer, and it can use the resources effectively such as virtual organizations, entity organization, equipment, network resources and so on, the basic technologies such as Internet of things, multiple information collection, knowledge engineering and application technologies were analyzed in the paper too. Finally, an application system is developed, and it proved the model is validity and correctness.

Abstract: The paper presents a structure and functions of an expert system for aided design of rice harvester chassis systems. It was developed on basis of a detailed analysis of the design process, including knowledge bases regarding chassis systems automated design, a community of parameterized parts and assemblies and interference engine. In the creation of the system, Visual C++, Pro/Engineering and Oracle database were used. This system is characterized by a rule-oriented representation of knowledge, forward chaining inference methods, and graphic representation of the design results by parameterized technology. The industrial application of this system proved its high reliability and accuracy.
