Abstract: Advancements in computer science offer new concepts and instruments to be used in the modelling of the complex phenomena. Apart from the commercial software applications, researchers may use performant data processing methods based on the latest computing techniques in order to create original software instruments. A hybrid model consists of a series of studies of various types: theoretical (analytical and/or numerical) and experimental. A hybrid model may be represented as a flowchart, each study being an element of the data flow representation. Each element, i.e. distinct study, has input data and output information expressed as data files and/or as visualizations meant to graphically synthesize the results. The output data of an element is the input data of the following study, in this way being developed the flowchart of the hybrid model, similar to the method used in the Unified Modelling Language. The rapid development of the hybrid models depends on the degree of readiness regarding the software libraries to be created. The original software libraries solve two types of problems: solvers of the distinct studies and data integration in the wider context of the hybrid model. The distinct studies which model a particular aspect of the phenomenon are used to automatically and accurately generate the input data of the ‘main’ model which is usually created using a commercial software application. In this way, the distinct studies may be represented as satellites orbiting the ‘main’ model. The paper presents the basic concepts used to conceive hybrid models and it is inspired by the software development activity for research projects in the latest 30 years.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the moderating effect of organizational climate on the relationship between absorptive capacity and knowledge integration. 183 survey data from 5 regions including Beijing is collected for empirical study using multiple linear regressions. The results show that absorptive capacity has a significantly positive impact on knowledge integration;organizational climate positively moderates the relationship between absorptive capacity and knowledge integration.

Abstract: Choose the correct knowledge integration pattern is beneficial to enhancing the independent innovation capability in petroleum equipment manufacturing industry. Analysis elements of the knowledge integration ability and the independent innovation ability , with knowledge integration capability as the breakthrough point, the knowledge integration effect as the intermediary variable , constructs the model of the independent innovation capability in equipment manufacturing - the knowledge integration capacity, puts forward the independent innovation in petroleum equipment manufacturing industry should adopt the three kinds of knowledge integration mode.

Abstract: Topic Map, which described as The GPS of information universe, traditionally focused on building knowledge structure and associating them with information resources. In online-education environment, it has been used to address the issues about people disoriented in huge amounts of learning resources, to support learners browse the semantic relationship between knowledge topics and find the learning content effectively and instructors externalize their implicit knowledge both on conceptual and information level. However, as the explosion of knowledge information, people are suffering the disorientation of knowledge topics. Specially, learners are puzzled about what knowledge are valuable and need to learn, and knowledge providers dont know how to update outdated knowledge hierarchy or develop new knowledge product for changing requirements. To address this problem, we extend Topic map by adding a top level, named knowledge requirement level (KRL). This level KRL can be used to guide learners to concentrate on the required knowledge topics, and drive knowledge providers to redevelop or refactor outdated knowledge hierarchy. In order to obtaining social knowledge topic requirement for KRL, we have developed an information extraction tool, named WIE, to extract knowledge requirement information from job-list Webpages for supporting users extract data for different piece of a given structure-fixed Webpages.

Abstract: Nowadays, customer reviews or comments have become a golden mine for B2C companies. How to exploit these reviews more effectively has attracted researchers attention. This paper proposal a new approach of utilizing the reviews, which integrates the reviews unstructured information based on fuzzy cognitive maps and nonlinear Habbian learning. The approach aims to provide an effective way of generating a comprehensive evaluation of an online store.

Abstract: Knowledge integration played a major and centre role in the process of organizations knowledge innovation. Study on the knowledge integration contents and process in organization has important significance. There are four contents of knowledge integration in organization knowledge innovation: knowledge integration between different knowledge main bodies; different knowledge levels; the new and original knowledge system; personal study, team study and organization study. The paper discussed the process of knowledge integration toward organization knowledge innovation based on lify-cycle theory and divided the process into four stages: embryonic stage, development stage, mature stage and diffusion stage. The paper analyzed the knowledge value in different life cycle stages and the result indicates that the knowledge in mature stage is the most valuable.

Abstract: This study examines the relationships among team identification, knowledge integration and project management performance. Using data from 22 high-tech companies with 115 employees in China, this study finds that team identification is positively related to knowledge integration but not related to project management performance. In addition, knowledge integration plays an intermediary role on team identification and project management performance, and has direct positive impact on project management performance.

Abstract: To capture the genomic profiles for histone modification, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is combined with next generation sequencing, which is called ChIP-seq. However, enriched regions generated from the ChIP-seq data are only evaluated on the limited knowledge acquired from manually examining the relevant biological literature. This paper proposes a novel framework, which integrates multiple knowledge sources such as biological literature, Gene Ontology, and microarray data. In order to precisely analyze ChIP-seq data for histone modification, knowledge integration is based on a unified probabilistic model. The model is employed to re-rank the enriched regions generated from peak finding algorithms. Through filtering the reranked enriched regions using some predefined threshold, more reliable and precise results could be generated. The combination of the multiple knowledge sources with the peaking finding algorithm produces a new paradigm for ChIP-seq data analysis.

Abstract: The paper gets a scientific research team in university as a case, through the collection of the joint research achievements of the team members nearly 3 years to build the knowledge integration social network and to study the practical problems such as relationship of team members which occurred in the process of knowledge integration. From the perspective of the overall network to conduct a detailed study on the knowledge integration network of this scientific research team, includes three aspects: network viscosity measurement, centrality measurement and structural holes measurement. Analysis the measurement results and gives recommendations to improve the level of knowledge integration in the scientific research team of university.
