Abstract: This study presents the results of a literature review that was performed to identify and evaluate knowledge management such as problem solving (PS) methods are suitable for identification and analysis of risks on existing issues. The studied methods were compiled into 2 groups which is manufacturing, and research development. The key discussion would be where the PS tool is more relevant and how it help to solve the problem effectively. The aspects studied in the methods are presented together with a short description of its applications, area of the analysis and relevance to industry and education. Also some characteristics of the methods are given, as well as reference to previous key publications on the methods. The contribution of study is exploration on a new definition of PS methodology which is simplified and structured.

Abstract: Knowledge management in advanced manufacturing industries is a complex process. The paper analyzes knowledge application scenarios in product development processing. There are complex relationships between knowledge, product, process and designers, which four key elements are proposed for knowledge tracing modeling. Knowledge tracing modeling based four key elements for product design knowledge management is studied carefully. The research for knowledge tracing modeling will enable software function development.

Abstract: It is important to develop an application to manage knowledge for reusing as efficiently as possible. Knowledge management in advanced manufacturing industries is a complex process. In this paper, user needs for design knowledge management are gathered from interviews with users and during brainstorming sessions. The main requirements for design knowledge management are such as: design knowledge normalizing, design case normalizing, knowledge tracing, generating know-how knowledge, learning failure case knowledge, and design knowledge management in product lifecycle, etc. Knowledge application scenarios for a new paving machine design are studied which would enable software function development.

Abstract: E-Learning facilitats enterprise human resource management. Therefore enterprises must attach importance to build their own E - Learning platform in such information society. This paper first analyzes the meaning of enterprise digital learning. Then fusion and trends of digital learning and knowledge management is discussed from the perspective of theory level. Key problems are discussed towards the construction of digital learning system for the enterprise. Including the basic components and building process of digital learning system of the enterprise. The design process of digital curriculum system for PetroChina Changqing oilfield company have been collected and analyzed. The Result Show That E - Learning system can improve the level of corporate profits, lean enterprise management and improve the market strain capacity of the enterprise.

Abstract: To improve the knowledge management during product design process, a new model of knowledge composition and knowledge activity is constructed within or between organizations and persons. And based on the analysis of knowledge acquisition, transfer and innovation, the strategy for the implement of knowledge management project is proposed. At last the functions and structures of a software system are provided that supporting the knowledge management for product design in an manufacturing enterprise.

Abstract: Knowledge builds on data and/or information that is organized and processed to convey understanding, experience, accumulated learning and expertise. At the moment, the volumes of data and information are quickly growing uncontrollably. The sheer amount of data, that lacks the structure, connectivity and intent, cannot be utilized efficiently later on. There is ever the greater need to transfer this unstructured mass of bits and bytes to meaningful information and to human understandable knowledge, as it is understood in the industry. However, there are major challenges in understanding the essence of information flow that should connect the different design departments and activities to be part of the life-time information of a product, including its processes and services. The paper introduces a vision where the semantically rich product-process information flows through the life-cycle phases – design, manufacturing, services – of a product or a system, and thus increases the content knowledge.
