Abstract: Energy efficiency becomes a critical production factor due to legal regulations, sustainable customer-side production requirements and the increasingly volatile supply situation. Energy transparency is of crucial importance for the definition of strategic measures to increase energy efficiency. However, the transparent collection and processing of energy data in production not only forms the basis of industrial energy management, but also facilitates the additional optimization of subareas in the production environment. Especially in the context of production-related data, such as process and product quality data and production planning and control information, as well as combined with expert knowledge, energy data provides a wide range of application fields. This paper analyzes the requirements for a holistic, transparent collection and processing of energy data and identifies possible applications for the optimization of production and production-related areas.

Abstract: Energy efficiency is a critical competitive factor. Transparency of energy consumption is the key for increasing efficiency of production. For this purpose, existing energy data management systems collect data such as power, gas or water consumption on field level, save them in databases, and aggregate them in reports. However, the identification of saving potentials and the definition of efficiency measures is carried out by energy experts and thus is dependent on a person’s knowledge. The documentation of knowledge about saving potentials and measures does not take place and relations among data and knowledge of various domains are not captured. In this paper, we provide an approach that allows the holistic capture and description of data and knowledge relations. Through the use of an ontology-based meta model, consumption data can be augmented with information about time and place of capture, data type, intended purpose and permissions, as well as interfaces to other systems and relations to knowledge elements. The semantic model is to capture relevant requirements of all information demanders within the energy data management cycle. Therefore, the model is capable of detecting efficiency deficits and retrieving relevant energy efficiency measures within a knowledge base. Thus, energy consumption data can be efficiently used and knowledge about efficiency can be sustainably preserved.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a new knowledge push technology for complex mechatronic products design based on ontology and variable precision rough set (VPRS). Ontology can explicitly represent knowledge semantics and let designers exchange knowledge about design and the product development process; while using the knowledge reduction method based on the VPRS method, the design knowledge repository is simplified and design rules also be distilled from the reduct design knowledge repository. On the basis of the above approach, multiple designers can efficiently share design knowledge and can obtain appropriate design knowledge during all design processes. Finally, a case is employed to validate the proposed method of this paper.

Abstract: Decision tables are used in the elaboration of knowledge representation. This article describes the possibilities of using decision tables for production preparation in enterprises of machine industry. The basic structure and decision tables properties in information processing, based on design rules, were characterized. A procedure for the creation of classical decision tables concerning exemplary pre-treatment decision variants was presented. A method of elaboration of modal decision table for the input material assignment to the production was described. An example regarding the construction of knowledge elements basing on the fuzzy sets and levels of capability and statements certainty was shown. Developed decision tables can be used in the construction of an expert system aided design of technological processes

Abstract: This paper provides a method to fuse the suggestions from multi-agents ,which stand for the physicians, the guardians and the elderly. Because the background among the agents is quite different, an extended model is proposed for the formalization of knowledge from different domain. Furthermore the reasoning rules which have the same form are also given for agents to argue. Based on the representation and reasoning rules, the monitoring task can be achieved for reasonable guidance for the elderly.

Abstract: By analyzing influence factors of the document that the retrieval system recommends to the user, a user preference model is established. Based on the correlation between the emergency vocabularies, which is adjusted by the user preference model, a vocabulary correlation matrix is put forward to extend the retrieval model. Furthermore, according to new retrieval results and records of user operation, the user preference model is optimized. Finally, the validity and usefulness of the keyword extension-based user preference model in the algorithm is verified.

Abstract: In aviation industry, it’s urgent to build a scientific and effective knowledge system with high scalability to change the fact that the data is rich while the knowledge is deficient. We constructed the knowledge ontology of aircraft assembly with cyclic acquisition and seven step methods based on ontology thought. Then, we obtained the potential relationship related to process and abstract process ontology through logic reasoning. Finally, OWL is applied for ontology formal description to realize knowledge standardization and normalization. It’s meaningful to reuse, share the assembly process knowledge and further reasoning in the aviation field.

Abstract: The article is devoted to structurization of data and knowledge for the information technology of road-climatic zoning (IT RCZ). The IT includes an intelligent system based on the extended matrix model of data and knowledge representation on the investigated area of the West Siberian region and the matrix model of knowledge representation preassigned by experts in the field of RCZ without specification of particular territories. Structurization is conditioned upon the extended matrix model.

Abstract: Expert systems, or knowledge based systems, are programs in which the answer to a user-posed question is reached by logical or plausible inference rather than strictly by calculation, although calculation routines can form a major part of an expert system. Based on the integration of expert system technology and optimization technology, an intelligent computer aided design method for mine ventilation systems is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the structure and control algorithm of the intelligent design system are explored. Secondly, the knowledge types required for the mine ventilation expert system and the acquiring method of knowledge are discussed. Finally, the inference method of this expert system is put forward.
