Abstract: A stepper motor control system is designed based on the stepper motor controller and EP2C5Q208C8. The control system of the host human-computer interaction interface is designed by LabView; through RS232 to communicate with the PC. According to the characteristic of the stepper motor control system , Verilog HDL language program and the software of QuartusII are used to simulate each function modules. The analysis of simulation results and experiment show that using the method of FPGA+LabView can simplify the complexity of the system design and possess a very high stability on the running status. The motor running status can be easily observed in the PC interface.

Abstract: Hydraulic support is widely used under the mine while the pressure is the most important factors of its safety.In view of the defects about present pressure monitor of mining hydraulic support ,designing a mining hydraulic support pressure monitoring system based on LabVIEW.This article mainly introducing the overall structure of the system, hydraulic system principle, the LabVIEW program, data communication and interface design.Using LabVIEW collection and storage support’s real-time pressure information. On the basis of the single chip microcomputer and the LabVIEW for data processing and display, improving the real-time control of hydraulic support.

Abstract: In the research and development of the precise closed-loop control system in large hydraulic press, the touch screen and PLC are frequently applied to design, debug and test for the system. Though a better closed-loop control characteristic can be acquired after repeated testing by this way, the comprehensive state data of hydraulic press are unable to get, which leads to a long research cycle and also restricts the maintenance and upgrade with the equipment in the later period. In order to obtain the whole state information of hydraulic press easily and effectively, a monitor system of precise closed-loop control in large hydraulic press is designed. Based on reasonable cooperation of sensors and high-speed data-acquisition card, high-speed and precise signal acquisition is realized. In addition, data-acquisition software program is designed base on LabVIEW, it can achieve the functions of collecting, storing, displaying and analyzing data. Through the real measuring and analyzing on a certain large ceramic hydraulic press, the status of key parameters can be acquired effectively during the whole pressing process. So the monitoring system supplies the significant data basis to the precise closed-loop control, accelerates the design and development of high characteristic precise closed-loop control and also strongly supports to the maintenance and upgrade with the equipments in the later period.

Abstract: Ultrasonic Non-destructive testing is a well known technique for inspecting fiber reinforced composite structures however; its capability is severely limited by the high attenuation in thick and multi layer structures. Guided wave ultrasonic inspection has been reported to be useful tool for quantitative identification of composite structures. It takes advantage of tailoring / generating desired ultrasonic wave modes (Symmetric and anti-symmetric) for improved transmission through the composite structure. For this, guided waves have to be generated selectively by precisely placing transducer at an angle to the test surface. Automation of two axis fixture for transmission and reception of transducers have to be used for avoiding manual errors. The captured signals have to be processed in order to extract useful information from the received ultrasonic signals. The proposed project aims at developing automated guided wave inspection methods along with digital signal processing for generating dispersion curves for thick composited. Using test laminates with implanted defects, methodology for thick composite inspection with guided wave ultrasonic’s will be established. For this data will be captured and analyzed using Labview software.

Abstract: With increased expectations for engineering products of high quality and safety standards, the need for accurate, fast and objective quality determination of these characteristics in engineering products continues to grow. Embedded vision provides one alternative for an automated, non-destructive, fast and cost-effective technique to accomplish these requirements. In this work, the authors are developed an integrated system which has two major components: an Embedded Vision System (EVS) and a Real Time Monitoring System (RTMS). This work describes design and development of prototyped Production Line System (PLS) based on a practical and fast approach using EVS and LabVIEW with IMAQ Vision Assistant as image processing tool. Experimental results show that this integrated system is faster and produces a lower error rate than humans produce in the quality inspection process.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of the artificial detection method of rail abrasion ,which is low efficiency, low precision, not easy to store and so on, design and development of rail profile dynamic acquisition system based on LabVIEW, introduced the hardware and software design method. The system take the laser line on the rail surface as the detection object, which is not easily affected by external factors and high measuring accuracy; testing personnel can continuous push the inspection car to check on the track surface, which is high efficiency. The system can realize side abrasion and vertical abrasion of the rail, and calculate the total abrasion. It also can achieve the function of abrasion limit alarm and complete the data storage. It has the vital significance to improve the present situation of the work department, and guarantee the safety of railway system.

Abstract: This thesis proposes a design of digital stepper motor control system, with FPGA as control core, communicates with LabVIEW host computer system via RS232 serial port. The host computer control system is programmed in LabVIEW, and can be used to choose working mode, rotation direction, run or stop, steps and angles for rotation. The slave computer system takes EP2C8Q208C8N chip of Altera Corporation’s Cyclone II series as the core, to construct the hardware environment of the system. And it could driver stepper motor correspondingly according to the received commands that sent by host computer. This design provides a new idea for development and application of embedded system, and has a certain reference value for the development of new product.

Abstract: With the world's population growth the industrialization process and the unreasonable use of the environment,soil pollution problem has been increasingly prominent, the soil will become another shortage resource. This article introduces akind of soil pollution and restoration simulation system,the whole system simulates proliferation, migration and transformation process of different pollutants in different soil types, different hydrogeological environment three-dimensional space. The systerm also uses physical and chemical, biological and other repair method to repair contaminated soil. The use of LabVIEW graphical programming language to design PC man-machine interface looks simple and intuitive. Based on LabVlEW serial communication function, we develop the LabVIEW and PLC communication driver and achieve the real-time monitoring of the whole system ,which provides equipment and data support for the pollution of the soil.

Abstract: To reduce the noises in received RF signal and improve the performance of RFID system, a novelty denoising method of wavelet transform in RFID system was proposed in this paper. It analyzed wavelet transform method and FFT method,then introduced wavelet transform principle and wavelet coefficients threshold denoising method. According to the standard ISO18000-3,the RF signal at 13.56MHz was simulated using modulation toolbox in LabVIEW environment. At last, the RF signal with Gauss white noise together, was denoised by wavelet transform method and FFT method respectively. Simulation results showed that the wavelet transform denoising method has higher accuracy, better effect, compared with traditional FFT denoising method. The research on application of wavelet analysis in RF signal denoising is significant and practical. The wavelet analysis is applied to the field of virtual instrument, which can provide people with more accurate and convenient testing, and has good application prospects in engineering applications.

Abstract: It is of great significance for the measurement of low concentration of VOCs that the sample pretreatment preconcentration system. We design a gas sample pre-treatment preconcentration system based on LabVIEW. It’s in this system, of whose PC uses LabVIEW software and of whose following part adopts data acquisition card USB4711A; intelligent temperature control instrument FB400 of RKC and mass flow controller of burkert (MFC8711). The standardized drive mode of OPC and DataSocket of LabVIEW realize the PC real-time communication with lower computer .This system has a good man-machine interface and it is a reliable control system. This system can realize the real-time display and control of parameters such as temperature, flow, and also realize the running condition of all equipments control and alarm function.
