Abstract: This paper explains proposed real-time control system algorithm modifications for control of drives containing the artificial muscles. The aim of these modifications is to create control algorithm more effective in spite to provide effective computational time to prepare measurement chain to add further artificial muscles to ensure movement in another directions. Described are devices, hardware and software equipment, as well as design of their involvement in the experimental device.

Abstract: The Image processing technique incorporates human perception and intelligence which makes this field more interesting to the research community. The edge detection process is the most important step in image recognition system. In this paper a simple three dimensional model is created by taking the best edge detected image followed by comparison with various edge detection techniques using Labview software. HereCatia model of spur gear isdrawn by observing and analysing best suited edge detected image in order to make the design more precise in edges and geometry and also to make object recognition simple and further scope is given to design a Catia model using dimensional parameters with the help of vision assistant tool.

Abstract: Virtual Instrumentation" is the realization of instrumentation, analysis and data processing using a computer. The control of experiments through the web interface provides greater flexibility to the measurement, greater control over results and not least a better processing of the obtained data. There has been made virtual laboratories controlled by web interface for various specialties, but have not been made for the punching process.

Abstract: The metal-forming processes provide a high degree of material utilization, a high working capacity, a high quality of the parts and so on. Taking in account the characteristics of these processes and the current requirements of the market economy, it is necessary to extend the research in the metal-forming field in order to develop new solutions that lead to optimization of the metal-forming technologies and, implicit, to obtain the best quality-price ratio. Also, the software for the simulation, data acquisition, data processing and computer aided design are necessary. This paper presents an application developed using a graphical programming language called LabVIEW, through which, the dimensions of the sheet blank for the flanged parts are calculated based on the specifications of the work drawing, checks the hole flangeability and calculates the force required by the metal-forming processes.

Abstract: Based on LabVIEW and CompactRIO platform, a strain measurement system was developed for structure monitoring. The design and achieve method of the system is introduced in detailed. The module of NI 9235 is used to realize the multi-channel signal acquisition at the same time. Data processing and storage online is supported. At last, a test is hold to verify the validity of the system. Comparing with traditional strain measurement system, the system proposed in the paper is stable and reliable. And it is easy to carry, simple operation, performance, high efficiency and good expansibility. The new system with those advantages can adapt to all kinds of complicated and special working environment. It is totally possible that virtual instrument replace the traditional system complete. The new system is worth to promote in application.

Abstract: A water-saving irrigation monitoring system was designed based on ZigBee wireless sensor network and LabView simulation platform. This system can solve the problems of unnecessary waste caused by the traditional artificial irrigation water and wiring complex of water-saving control system. The information of each node and data acquisition can be detected by the ZigBee wireless network monitoring system. Upper machine was designed by LabView virtual design platform, and all aspects of organic characteristics of the crop water requirement rule were combined through the fuzzy control decision support system. The date of the irrigation water would be directed, and achieved a fine management of water and scientific irrigation.

Abstract: Ethernet based on TCP/IP is a standard open network, which promotes the development of data acquisition in the direction of network. Data acquisition and processing systems connected by Ethernet make the data acquisition terminals (lower computer) and processing control center (upper computer) from integrated to discrete. Separate data acquisition terminals can realize miniaturization and modularization and increase the flexibility of the application. A new type, low cost, high precision data acquisition terminal based on ARM processor was designed for solving the problem of complicated structure, big volume and high cost of traditional data acquisition system. Combined with the technologies of network communication, a data acquisition PC system based on virtual instrument technology was designed by LabVIEW.
