Abstract: This work presents simple layout configurations for current sensing resistor networks to measure fast and high currents in SiC devices. The proposed layout reduces the inserted inductance in the switching loop when compared to coaxial shunts, which is key for the application of SiC devices in space. High inductance in the switching loop leads to dangerous overshoots during turn-off transients, that can block the adoption of SiC devices in space due to single event burnouts. After presenting the different proposed layouts, the inserted inductance of each one is measured with an impedance analyzer as well as performing switching tests. Applying field cancellation techniques in the layout of a simple parallel resistor network, the inserted inductance is reduced up to 17.6 % when compared to a coaxial shunt, while obtaining the same current sensing performance.

Abstract: The work discusses the problem of development of a heat-protective coating for objects of various purposes which are subjected to the external high-temperature impact. As a solution of the problem the application of heat-absorbing components providing the thermal barrier effect conducing to refraction of heat flows directed to heating of the protected object in the recipe of a heat-protective coating is presented. Temperature conditions of the protected object are provided due to the endothermic reaction which passes in the heat-protective layer by reaching the temperature of the selected component decomposition. Besides, the temperature of the heat absorption reaction has to be lower than the lesion temperature of the protected object.

Abstract: Through the investigation of bridges along Shanghai Suzhou Creek, we find a lot of problems. Firstly, Bridge layout is unreasonable. Secondly, mobiles occupy the main traffic volume. Thirdly, slow-traffic and lingering space isn’t comfortable. This study proposes the bridge planning and design idea oriented by slow-traffic and lingering space. Learning from overseas experiences, we put forward the bridge layout suggestions for Suzhou Creek from three aspects. First is to construct the reasonable distance between slow-traffic and lingering bridges. Second is to build the bridge system suitable for fast and slow-traffic. The last is to connect the cross-river attracted sources and bridges. Based on the above, we propose the bridges layout suggestion plan of Suzhou Creek.

Abstract: This paper presents the device-technological simulation of local 3D SOI structures. These structures are created by use microcavities under surface of silicon wafer. Is shown that proposed microcavities could be use as a constructive material for CMOS transistor array on the bulk silicon and 3D SOI-CMOS transistor array, as well as the sensitive elements and their combinations. Such structures allow creation and monolithic integration the CMOS, SOI-CMOS circuits and sensitive elements for IC and SoC.

Abstract: The wide variety of customers’ needs as well as the rapid change of these, increasingly requires the transition from mass produced products to customized product manufacturing that meet the individual needs of clients with consequence for the products design process. This paper present the core ideas of the mass customized and unique products design process, tools that can be used by designers in product design process and not least a customized design methodology intended to be used in order to design customized products. The design methodology for customized products emphasizes on action that must be taken, tools that can be used and results of each design steps.

Abstract: The ergonomic design of a keyboard layout needs expertise in design and ergonomic standards. The existence of different categories of users with slow typing skills, visually searching the apparently random keyboard, including novice users, elder persons and disabled persons conducts to the need of new keyboard layouts. Paper analyses some papers approaching the QWERTY keyboard layouts, the typing abilities of slow typing skills persons and discusses the existing standards in computer devices design and makes observations about design standards and ergonomic design features. There are presented some considerations about the necessity to implement the principles of Transgenerational Design, Inclusive Design, Design for All and Universal design to the design of new keyboard layouts.

Abstract: Soil nails are components retaining a ground to give it support particular in cases when the ground doesn’t satisfy fully the requirements and it is expected an excessive deformation or the worst a collapse. Today in all geotechnical applications the soil nails are arranged in the simplest way i.e. they are all parallel and almost perpendicular the boundary face of the ground body to be bound. Submitted article is a feasibility study on application the soil nails in another a nonparallel scheme of nails arrangement. The nails are located in two closely adjacent parallel plains. The nails are inclined in each plain with regard to a boundary face of the ground body and the nail inclination heads in opposite direction in each plain. This way the nails build up a quasi-web scheme in the ground. Article analyzes the effect of the quasi-web scheme nails arrangement on the ground and looks for an exact solution to evaluate effect on ground strength and strain behavior. The force balance approach is employed for the exact analysis.

Abstract: Because complex terrain conditions, the small airport satellite navigation signal being blocked, while reducing the positioning accuracy of the approach and landing segment, but also increase the operating costs of the small airport. This paper through independent pseudo-satellite network, from PDOP (Position Dilution of Precision) and VDOP (Vertical Dilution of Precision) studied several layout of airport pseudo-satellites. Through simulation show that the geometric layout of the pseudo-satellite can improve positioning accuracy of approach and landing segment in the small airport and reduce the DOPs, provide reference for practical engineering applications.

Abstract: The dissertation targets on the evolvement of the Olympic architectures together with the analysis of some concrete historical cases. The dissertation has been divided into two halves, which are logically related. The first half is organized as follows: first, the historically evolvement of the Olympic Games over the past 100 years was illustrated via 4 important phases. Then it concluded the characteristics on the space layout of the Olympic architectures. Finally the technical and economical influences on the Olympic architectures were analyzed in detail. Within the second half, for each of the four characteristic stages, detailed elaborations were launched to cover the unique characteristics of the Olympic architectures in each stage chronologically.
