Abstract: The aim of this study is to create and assemble the system with customizing/building Linux kernel and environments to be compatible and efficient on mini-ITX computer. The objective of the study is to create/customizing lightweight operating system using GNU/Linux to be used on computer to be used on vehicle. Abstract: This paper proposes the introduction of embedded technology in dust monitoring system to realize real-time monitoring online in factories. Taking S3C2440 as hardware platform and embedded Linux the developmental environment, the system also introduces a development kit Qt/Embedded from high-performance embedded system GUI. With a soft-hardware system scheme, it realizes the design of real-time monitoring on parameters like dust concentration in the air. Much emphasis has been laid on the analysis of system composition, working theory, hardware design and software development. Integrating functions of displaying, information processing, monitoring etc., the system has such advantages as high-speed, accuracy, high sensitivity and stable performance, and can be matched with various monitoring systems.

Abstract: With the rapid growth of China's economy, and the gradually improvement of the people's living standard, the car has become an indispensable means of transportation in our lives, and its number is increasing. So, the demand for the quality and scale is also growing. In order to meet the needs of daily parking management, this paper designed a kind of efficient embedded parking lot management system based on RFID. The system takes the Micro2440 embedded development board as the hardware platform and the Linux operating system as the software platform. It can gather vehicle information from RFID electronic tag cyclically to control the switch of the gate and broadcast the received information. After running and testing, the system has completed the initial design goals stable, and the operation is very. It has a certain application value.

Abstract: Based on the requirement of reactive power compensation of the intelligent power grid, a new type of capacitor switch design is presented. Starting from the characteristics of switching devices, research on the working timing between impulse switch and thermistor, build the controller hardware system based on ARM core, implement of power system parameters’ collection, capacitor switching control and human-computer interaction, etc. The embedded LINUX operating system is proposed for a better solution to multi-task, real-time and upgrade requirements in power intelligent control. At the same time, switching algorithm based on fuzzy control theory is adopted to improve the reliability of this switch.

Abstract: The computer model of emergency shutdown (ESD) system of Tokamak has been developed. Xcos extension of the package Scilab of linux operating system was used for developing the model. The simulated system monitors the most ultimate in terms of the integrity of the preproduction equipment and personnel safety parameters and provides an opportunity to prevent accidents. In the accidents occur the system executes algorithms of protective effects providing the complex transfer to a safe state, which allows to reduce consequences of possible accidents.

Abstract: With continuous improvement and update of embedded Linux kernel, embedded technology has been widely used in handheld devices and industrial control field. Therefore, a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) is essential for these applications. This paper firstly presents the design method for transplanting Qt on embedded platform of ARM9. Secondly it elaborates the device driver development and Qt interface development in Linux system with a Qt test program. All transplantation method of Qt and test program have been tested and verified on the ARM9 platform.

Abstract: The load balancing method based on the Linux server cluster is proposed in large-website construction. The load balancing of server cluster is achieved by SSH framework, Oracle database and Ajax technologies. The load balancing of server cluster method can’t only improve performance, scalability, availability of system and reduce the execution time of multi-tasking but also eliminates network bottlenecks and improve the flexibility and reliability of the network. In order to verify the validity of the algorithm, large number of experimental data is used in the experiment. We propose a method of load balancing algorithm is compared with the traditional non-load-balancing algorithm for CPU utilization and system response time in the experiments. The experimental results show that the load balancing technology can reduce system response time and CPU utilization of server.

Abstract: The design introduced in the ARM9 Linux embedded system using USB camera for remote video surveillance. Using TCP / IP protocol as a transport medium and routers connected via video stream ordinary unshielded twisted pair, combined with peanut shell DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) using remote video surveillance, improve usability and adaptability of the system.
