Abstract: Coordination of robots’ motion is required when two robots are to execute a single task. Presented algorithm of coordination robot trajectories is based on composition of two motions: a programmed one and a corrective one. In the former version of the algorithm programmed motion is a simple straight line motion to a fixed final position or may be defined as a set of Bezier curve segments. Corrective motion aims at keeping a constant relative distance between robots’ TCPs. Proposed modification of the algorithm takes into account distribution of load, caused by the weight of the manipulated part, between robots. For the clarity one dimensional case is considered with the gravity force along the direction of robots’ TCPs motion. To calculate force interaction between manipulated part and robots’ TCP a flexible connection with a defined stiffness is assumed. The algorithm is implemented as a simulation model and simulation results are presented.

Abstract: This paper presents a standalone hybrid renewable energy system (SHRES) to supply alternating current (AC) loads. The interfacing configuration of SHRES sources to the AC bus is discussed. The control strategies based on voltage and frequency (Vf) with droop concept for the stable source and active and reactive (PQ) power control concept for the energy sources are proposed for the SHRES’s stability, power quality and load sharing. The SHRES and the control strategies have been modeled in PSCAD/EMTDC software. Simulation results show the proposed control strategy is shown to be able to regulate the voltage and frequency at the common AC bus.

Abstract: Misalignment on sun gear in planetary gear is easily occurred and it usually causes serious problem of work efficiency and lifetime with the change of planet load sharing. For study on the influence of sun gear misalignment on load sharing, multibody dynamics simulation is employed in this paper. First of all, 3D geometry model of planetary gear is built by Solidworks. Based on 3D model, multi-body dynamics model of planetary gear is built by MSC.ADAMS and calculate meshing forces between sun gear and planet gears with each type of sun gear misalignment which are angular, radial and axial type. Based on this meshing force result, load sharing factor is calculated and the results of influence of each misalignment type to load sharing factor is obtained. Finally, gear lifetime is estimated by AGMA gear fatigue strength estimation method with load sharing factor. According to the results, radial misalignment is the most influence to load sharing factor and gear lifetime.

Abstract: This work mainly aims to explore the actual load, fillet and contact stresses induced during a mesh cycle in a spur gear tooth. As the mesh stiffness differs at different contact points along the path of contact, it significantly affects the load sharing between the simultaneously meshed contact pairs hence stresses. Comparative study has been made between existing symmetric spur gear pair used in light motor vehicle gear box and asymmetric spur gear. Finite element multi pair contact model has been used to explore the load sharing behavior and related stresses in this work.

Abstract: With the rapid development of streaming media applications, clustered streaming media proxy servers have become the mainstream of high-end streaming media proxy. To increase the IO throughput capacity of streaming media proxy servers, the most effective method is middle-ware technology in which several servers are bridged together to form a proxy cache server cluster, and the key is the coordination of individual proxy servers. The decision problem of the user request dispatch actually belongs to NP-complete. This article proposes an online coordination algorithm for the load sharing streaming media proxy servers, and discusses the relative deviation of the online algorithm from the optimal solution, to serve as a reference to the specific applications of clustered streaming media proxy servers.

Abstract: Parallel shaft split torque Transmission system Split torque Load sharing Abstract: The Newton method was applied to develop a system of equations of motion, the mathematical model includes stiffness of shaft supporting, position of gears, backlashes, time-varying stiffness, composite transmission errors, damping. The model was solved by variable step size forth/fifth-order Runge-Kutta method. The load sharing was affected obviously by asymmetry of gear backlashes, stiffness of shaft supporting and gear position

Abstract: This paper describes structural optimization design of parallel piezoelectric six-component force sensor. Structure, measuring principle, and load sharing principle are introduced. The influences on load sharing effect of each component of sensor’s structure are researched. Main parameters to influence load sharing effect are obtained, and analyzed by finite element method (FEM). It is clear that the analysis results of FEM are well correspond with the theoretical analysis results. Experiment is designed to verify analysis results. The trend is in consistent with FEM analysis. The paper provides reference basis for design of parallel piezoelectric six-component force sensor.

Abstract: A non-linear dynamic model of planetary gears is presented which accounts for planet position errors, time-varying non-linear mesh stiffness along with the interactions between deflections and instantaneous meshing conditions. The quasi-static load distributions agree well with the experimental results in the literature thus validating the contact simulation. Extensions towards high-speed behaviour are presented which show how dynamic effects may impact the instantaneous load sharing amongst the planets.
