Abstract: The new method for a comprehensive assessment of the strength, durability and material capacity of the critical elements of the main gas pipelines, taking into account the combined impact of factors causing damage (environment, corrosion, random loading, geometry variation, material defects, etc.), which are changing the bearing capacity and material capacity of these structures, is proposed. As the main damaging factor, the process of corrosion fatigue is accepted, the qualitative and quantitative assessment of which are realized by applying a set of equations of comparable fatigue lines obtained by fatigue tests carried out in air and in corrosive environment. By the joint solution of these equations, the functions of the corrosion action coefficients are obtained in a wide range of cyclic strength and durability, which in standard calculation procedures are performed only for cyclic strength and only at the inflection point of the fatigue lines (NG 5 106 cycles). The issues of reducing the material consumption and ensuring the cost-effectiveness of structures, by using relatively cheap materials for pipelines - low-carbon and low-alloy structural steels subjected to surface hardening in stressed sections of pipes (edge welds) in order to significantly increase the physical and mechanical characteristics of the used steel grades are considered. In order to increase the corrosion resistance of these sections, contemporary polymer anticorrosive coatings are used.

Abstract: Low-carbon mode is an inevitable choice for the sake of the necessity to achieve the social economic sustainable development. Specifically, it is also for the culture industry. The article is about a design of carbon dioxide capturing system for liquor cultural industry to help such culture industry of liquor to implement low-carbon mode. The system should accomplish some objectives such as carbon capture, low cast of operation and manufacturing, safety, ease of use and operation, and durability. The design is about using algae to capture the CO2. Furthermore, the article introduces the preliminary design concept. Finally, the primary design concept is to capture CO2 by taking advantage of photosynthesis to absorb any excess CO2 that comes from production process.

Abstract: Low-carbon consumption plays an extremely important role in low-carbon economy, and the low-carbon consumption behavior of college students is very important. This paper learned the status and problems of college student low-carbon consumption via questionnaire, analyzed the causes and proposed the countermeasures and suggestions.

Abstract: With the sustained and rapid development of Chinese economy, the energy issue has become a constraining "bottleneck" in economic and social development. Therefore, optimization of energy structure is an inevitable trend. In this paper, through the contrast of China and the other countries energy structure and environmental conditions, we think Chinese adjustment of energy structure is still have large space and environment protection efforts need to be strengthened. At last we puts forward some suggestions about promoting environmental protection and reducing carbon emissions.

Abstract: As one of the prominent cities across the world holding the idea of urban spatial justice, Perth, the capital city of Western Australian, promotes the concept of “harmony between urbanization and nature”. Perth is applied as the case study on the basis of Edward Soja’s theory of “Spatial Justice” and Page’s theory of “Intra-generational Equality” via empirical approach to inquire into the coordinated and balanced development of three elements in urbanization of Perth: economy, society and environment. It articulates the temperance to the existing environment and natural resources as the core value when promoting “Intra-generational Equality” and refers to the equal allocation and rational consumption of the existing environment and natural resources as the spatial equality in Perth. In addition, another focus goes to the analysis of the relation between the scientific urban management systems and the low-carbon spatial justice, and it is “Intra-generational Equality” that proves to be the basic premise and foundation on which the relation counts, which serves as a reference to the international metropolis’ urban spatial justice across the world.

Abstract: With the quickening of modern industrialization, the contradictions between environmental pollution and ecological cities are growing obvious, and the low carbon design of public facilities has become a widespread concern. On the basis of the analysis of the low carbon concept, its importance in the design of public facilities is put forward. Then the specific methods of low carbon design are discussed from some aspects, namely, the material selection, the structure design, recyclable products, the extension of product life, the use of new technologies and new energy.

Abstract: Supplier management is an important part of supply chain management, combined with the feature of the power industry, the paper design supplier comprehensive evaluation system of power grid enterprises, and put forward comprehensive green degree into supplier evaluation index system to conform to the national grid company production requirements. Firstly, according to the index system, the analytic hierarchy process evaluation method to draw the initial weights, secondly, the modification of entropy weight method to reduce the subjective factor influence on the evaluation results by AHP , finally, an example is given to demonstrate the feasibility of the evaluation index system for the power grid enterprise, it aslo provides a theoretical basis for decision-makers during the vendor selection.

Abstract: The responses of ground-wandering spider communities were examined in terms of species composition, population structure and population diversity in subtropical, hill-country tea plantations subjected to two contrasting systems of agricultural management. Samples were collected between June 2010 and May 2011 from tea plantations using either low-carbon intercropping management (plantation JZ) or routine management (plantation CK), using both clapping and trapping methods of sample collection. The results showed that the composition of the spider community in plantation JZ was significantly richer, on the basis of several quantitative measures, than in plantation CK (P <0.001), with 3.17 times, 1.68 times and 1.40 times the numbers of female, male and immature spiders present, respectively. In addition, in plantation JZ, in which four species of spider were predominant, the diversity index and richness index were increased, respectively, by 15.09% and 9.85%. Principal components analysis (PCA) showed that the management regime of plantation JZ was significantly reflected in the distributions of Houa jiafui, Pardosa pusiola and Venonia spirocysta, whereas that of plantation CK was reflected in the distribution of Zelotes asiaticus. Therefore, in a low-carbon management regime a rich diversity of plant species is conducive both to the reduction of CO2 emissions and to the protection of species diversity in ground-wandering spiders.

Abstract: This paper discusses the connotation of urban low-carbon transport in detail, on the basis of the analysis of low-carbon transport. Combined with the relationship among urban low-carbon transport system elements, the article establishes the system dynamics model. Finally, it simulates the development trends of low-carbon transport in Beijing in the future, and compares the simulation results of different traffic schemes. Moreover, the study puts forward the concrete policy simulations to improve urban low-carbon transport.

Abstract: With the generation and development of low-carbon economy, as an implementation of low-carbon economy in tourism industry, low-carbon tourism has attracted great attention. The development of low-carbon tourism becomes a hot topic of the government, travel operators and tourists, which are the three elements to constitute the development pattern of low-carbon tourism. Based on the practical situation of Qinhuangdao city and started from the three aspects, this article discussed the development pattern of low-carbon tourism in Qinhuangdao.
