Abstract: Ecological aims and political requirements today are increasing demands on lubricants in sheet metal forming and their impact on environment. For that reason, metal forming industry wants to reduce the amount of lubricants containing polluting additives with a long-term goal of avoiding lubrication entirely. Additionally, dry metal forming will reduce the cleaning steps after the forming operation. This paper shows a new tribological system in which lubrication is replaced by CO2 in a liquid state. Here, CO2 is expanding directly into contact area between workpiece and tool surface and changes its state from gas to solid. The combination of this particular dry ice as well as the pressure of approximately 57 atm affects resulting friction coefficient significantly. After forming operation, CO2 medium vaporizes and a dry component can be used immediately for the next process steps. In this case, the lubricant is applied directly into the contact area. Therefore, laser drilled micro holes are located in the contact area of the tool. Very first gained experimental results disclose such feasibility, the effects and the potential of this new lubrication system at that moment is based on strip draw tests. Different numbers of micro holes are examined to support blank holder pressure ranging between 5 MPa and 6 MPa. In this investigation a mild strength steel DC04 is used as sheet material. This knowledge is aimed to be used for further investigation and later transfer into real deep and stretch forming processes.

Abstract: The design of Xinyang Iron and Steel Factorys sintering machine lubrication system based on Siemens S7-200 PLC is introduced in this paper. According to the characteristics of the lubrication system, and the current domestic situation of the lubrication system existing problems, corresponding control strategy is presented. Using automatic oil supply system instead of manual oil supply, not only improve the reliability and accuracy of the system control, but also improve the working efficiency.

Abstract: In order to increase automotive engine development efficiency and reduce the cost, a simulation model is often used, in this paper, with software AMESim the automotive engine lubrication system model was built to simulate the steady lubricant flow rate and pressure in the system at difference engine speed. Comparison between simulation and measurement on the test bench shows that the simulated results are in good accord with experimental data, the lubricant flow rate deviation is less than 3.5% and the pressure deviation at the measurement points is less than 4.0%, so it can be concluded that the model can be used to simulate the automotive engine lubrication system steady lubricant flow and furthermore optimize the system.

Abstract: The automatic stuffing lubrication system can appropriately provide a fixed amount of high-voltage grease for each lubrication point according to the conditions under which a vehicle is operated, thus stuffing and lubricating vehicles while they are on the move and automatically monitoring the lubrication conditions during the entire process. The essay focus on not only the analysis of the working condition of chassis centralized stuffing lubrication system, the functions and proper use of controller ,sub-oil device ,lubrication pump , but also the analysis of the installation and testing methods of centralized grease lubrication system.

Abstract: More precise analysis and design of generalized lubrication system with the research results of modern lubrication theories are the effective measures to improve the efficiency and reliability of internal combustion engine. Through discussing and summarizing the development status in this field, a set of systematic methods of integrated analysis and design, and general rules are proposed in this paper. Technical measures for lubrication design of internal combustion engine are given. The database of lubrication design and condition monitoring is suggested to found. The best dispose of lubrication system design will be obtained through modeling, deducing control equation, and numerical simulation, improving and optimizing the coupling relationship among the capacity design, structure design, and lubrication design. Such, the modern lubrication design can be combined with strength design at the period of concert design and scheme design period really.
