Abstract: Aim at the real-time problem of industrial robot vision system, design a embedded robot vision system based on DSP microprocessor. This system can use CCD camera and the ultrasonic sensor to collect the target environment information. It also can use the processor DSP to process the images and recognize target. And then through the communication module, send results in the form of wireless to the upper computer, providing target object information for robot control layer. This system completes the software and hardware system design, image collection & processing and robot control, as well as meet the real-time requirements of machine vision system.

Abstract: In machine vision defects detection of pharmaceutical blister packaging, the traditional defects detection algorithms always do the binary image processing and edge feature extraction and other operations, and then locate the analysis image through these features. These operations are very tedious and inflexible. In this paper, the shape template matching algorithm is applied to pharmaceutical blister packaging defects detection. The algorithm can determine whether there is a positioning region of the sheet or pieces missing through search algorithm to locate the template image and comparing the difference of gray value between the detection region and the template region. This paper packaged the software of pharmaceutical blister packaging machine vision defects detection via the professional image processing library of Halcon and visual programming software Visual C++. Detection case demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of detection algorithm and system.

Abstract: The farmland weeds directly affect the crops yields, and the intra-row weeds are more difficult to eliminate than inter-row weeds. With the harm of chemical weeding technology cognition by people, the growth of awareness of environmental protection consciousness and food safety, the non-chemical weeding technology get more and more attention. Mechanical weeding as a good alternative method get more attention, and the intra-row intelligent mechanical weeding technology becomes a hot spot of research. The research on intra-row intelligent mechanical weeding technology of China have a large gap compared with developed countries. In this work, the current research of intra-row mechanical weeding technology of developed countries and China was reviewed, and the development trend of intra-row intelligent mechanical weeding technology of China were prospected. The universities and research institutes should be encouraged to learn from foreign advanced technology and the design concept of intelligent weeding equipment, increase the investment in intelligent mechanical weeding technology research and promotion.

Abstract: The presented innovative vision system is a new solution for quick matching the workpiece reference point using non-contact 3D scanning method, based on structural light patterns [1, 2]. The vision system uses special reference markers [3] and flexible calibration procedure [4] in order to integrate with the CNC machine workspace. Based on 3D geometry of the workpiece, placed on CNC table, the new object coordinate system for tooling process is precisely aligned.At present, the system is in the final phase of laboratory tests confirmed its functionality. In this paper, the results of several tests for 3D scanning quality, scanning recurrence and for positioning recurrence using CNC table will be presented. All the most critical stages of integration with CNC machine will be showed and discussed. The obtained results revealed far improvement in terms of time and simplicity of use, as well as good stability of the system.

Abstract: In this paper a method of bar code detection and recognition is introduced, and discussed a combination of machine vision technology and virtual instrument, on this account, USB camera is used to capture images and detection and information extraction of the image of bar code, so user can store the function of product information. This method has very high recognition accuracy, speed and better practicality.

Abstract: Image segmentation and feature extraction are the premise for machine vision system to analyze and identify the image. Threshold image segmentation algorithm according to the method of two dimension threshold has a lot of calculation in calculating the threshold, and the minimum error threshold method can not use the spatial information of image. This paper presents an improved quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization based on the night segmentation and feature extraction technology. This paper introduces the QPSO algorithm based on multi group and multi stage improvement. The QPSO optimizing algorithm gradually approaches the global optimum threshold value to achieve better convergence and stability. An algorithm of vision image segmentation and feature extraction based on improved quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization is designed. Experimental results show that the optimization process of this algorithm has less control parameters and faster convergence speed.

Abstract: In the actual operation by crane operator, there will appear situation that operator cannot make timely judgment on distance between crane and adjacent obstacle and cause collision accident. For this problem, this paper establishes anti-collision system on distance measurement focuses on ARM 11, on the basis based on machine vision and image procession, it considers effect of corresponding point match and extraction deviation of single characteristics point on measurement result, adopts one kind of method of distance measurement by monocular vision based on single characteristic point. The test result indicates that this system can effectively measure distance with obstacle, it has accurate measurement, high reliability and it can meet real-time requirement.

Abstract: The author has designed a visual workbench to realize that the rim can rotate with the workbench. Meanwhile, the linear CCD camera records the rim’s circumference. The paper has explored the measurement method of getting the rim valve hole position using machine vision. The system can calculate the position of rim-hole and control the servo motor by image processing, characteristic recognizing and measuring to locate the position of wheel-hole automatically. And the paper has verified the accuracy of the method by experiments.

Abstract: As a common kind of surface defects on multi-crystalline silicon solar cells (about 65% of total defects). Based on HALCON image processing library, an automatic silicon wafer surface spot defects detection and classification system has been developed: captured color images via CCD image sensor, located wafers and spots, extracted the spot features, computed and separated the qualified regions from the unqualified ones by SVM classifier. The experimental result showed a high accuracy of 95.7% and fast image analyzing and classifying process (less than 600ms).

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer technology and electronic technology, the future will be a large number of the use of automation equipment instead of manual operation, to meet the complex control, high precision, multi axis motion control card applied in NC system will become more and more widely. This paper studies three axis dispensing machine positioning control system based on machine vision, not only uses CCD camera to clear description sheet dispensing area real time scanning, using the smoothing operation and the value of the two methods for the acquisition of image preprocessing, and the use of image morphological operation extraction dispensing location coordinates, to solve the traditional dispensing mode of open loop low control accuracy, low efficiency and poor stability problem. Experimental results show that this system is tested and used are able to meet the requirements, in the long time repetition work greatly reduce the use of artificial also can greatly improve the production efficiency and product quality are improved.
