Abstract: The study presents the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) software system for decision-making in occupational safety and health (OSH) management at mining enterprises. The system is structured into four interconnected modules - data acquisition, memory (knowledge storage), computation, and output/visualization - corresponding to the classical Input-Memory-Process-Output model of computer systems. The developed software enables the processing of large data sets, risk assessment, and generation of recommendations for improving OSH management. The scientific novelty lies in creating a specialized AI tool that integrates data processing, risk and opportunity evaluation, ethical and legal boundary definition, as well as forecasting and modeling of performance indicators. The practical value of the study is the implementation of an AI-based system that enhances occupational risk management, supports informed decision-making, and contributes to improving occupational safety and health standards in mining enterprises.

Abstract: The risk management process has been improved, which, unlike the known one, provides for procedure for making management decision on the expediency of accepting, reducing, rejecting and transferring unacceptable or acceptable risk using different PDCA cycles types: circular and/or spiral, diverging or converging. It is proposed to combine the procedure for improving the risk management process itself using circular and spiral PDCA cycles with the procedure for management decision making, which will ensure timely detection and prevention of possible subjective biases influence on the results and conclusions obtained. The scientific novelty lies in identifying relationship between management decision made based on risk level assessment (acceptable or unacceptable) and revision (update) of estimated risk levels and risk management procedure itself based on the application of circular and spiral PDCA cycles, which create conditions for improving the risk management process. Practical value lies in development of eight combinations hierarchy of management decisions, depending on risk level (acceptable/unacceptable) and four types of management decisions regarding acceptable and unacceptable risk levels: accept risk, reduce risk, transfer risk or refuse risk; and corresponding management decisions matrix has also been developed.

Abstract: Every organisation is a very complex system. It consists of soft and hard parts of a system. Their relationships and the influence of the substantial neighbourhood lead to the development of a number of problems. This article deals with nonconformities in the relationship to material aspects in management systems of organisations. Nonconformities were found from the survey which was conducted in organisations in a one region of the Czech Republic. There are from production, maintenance, store, quality department and so on. The article classifies nonconformities by a type, by a severity and by an amount. It describes the relation to risks of the management system and also to main and minor processes and to innovations. In conclusion, the article presents some recommendations for the increase of quality of a production and also for the simplification of the management system.

Abstract: Modern manufacturing logistics like any other business functional area must be subject to the processes of optimization and improvement in order to meet the requirements of market competition both in terms of technological and customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this manufacturing logistics subsystem should be supported guidelines contained in modern quality management systems, the implementation and improvement of comprehensive basic streamlines logistics processes in the company. The aim of the article is to examine the actual impact of the quality management system to improve manufacturing logistics and the development of a general model of supporting the creation philosophy of quality in the production area.

Abstract: The management information system based on Web GIS for monitoring of pipe-jacking engineering has been developed. The framework and emphasis of the system is introduced. The C/S( Client / Server ) structure is employed for information sharing and team cooperation; and the system has great performance under network circumstances. All the features make it as a powerful information platform for foundation pit monitoring. This system realizes the publication of the monitoring data through the network, and realizes the monitoring data visualization, real-time alarm warning function, has the vital significance to the construction safety management, monitoring information management, project risk control etc.

Abstract: This paper presents the design of energy supply and management system to achieve minimum cost of charging the electric vehicles and to reduce the peak power drawn by all electric loads in a microgrid. We consider energy management function at different levels of microgrid like, at stand-alone EV parking lot, at residential loads and at commercial building loads, etc. The energy supply and management system is not only connected to the power grid but also with a combination of fixed Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Local Area Network (LAN). First we perform load balancing among different kinds of loads in a microgrid such that extra electrical resource may be transferred to resource constrained loads by using game theoretic approach, and later we propose a distributed algorithm for load scheduling of electric vehicles parked in stand-alone parking lot in microgrid to minimize the sum of total energy cost for charging the battery of electric vehicles and spreading out the charging power equally over the charging time using interior point method (IPM). This results in reduction of peak charging power based on EVs own consumption schedule while they select the best response in energy consumption game.

Abstract: Douhe Reservoir (DR) is the most important water source for the city of Tangshan, China. In this paper, a new online monitoring and management system is developed for the purposes of water quality management and human health protection. The system includes two parts: an online monitoring system, consisting of a biological early warning system (BEWS) and a physical factor monitoring system (PFMS), and an environmental management system. Once BEWS warns of changes in water quality, PFMS is used to determine whether there has been a water pollution accident. If an accident has occurred, then optimal allocation of source water in DR is initiated on the basis of the results of the online monitoring and management system. Meanwhile, an emergency treatment procedure for accidental pollution of DR, which includes laboratory testing of water quality and the treatment of polluted water, is carried out. Therefore, the online monitoring and management system will provide an effective approach to make water management and human health protection.

Abstract: With the increasing expansion of the function of modern architecture, the huge construction equipment system’s daily management and maintenance are faced with the problem of high input and high consumption. It is an inevitable trend of modern architecture’s developing that we expand the maintenance management system. In this paper, we set up a management system of prevention and maintenance for construction equipment which include the basic framework, process and functional modules, which could achieve the prevention, maintenance and management on the basis of the device’s fault then greatly improve the level of equipment’s maintenance and management. Construction equipment is a combination of the facilities and equipment which is installed in the buildings, provide convenience, comforts and safety for people’s residing, living, and working. It usually include water supply and drainage system, ventilation and air conditioning system, electrical lighting system, fire controlling and security system, heat addition system and elevator system, etc. It is an important part of civil construction, its role in building is equivalent of the circulatory system and nervous system of human’s body. The architecture’s function of modern society has gone way beyond the scope of wind and rain, the demand of comfort, health, convenience and safety makes the modern architecture marching towards the direction of intelligent zing and automation, then the system of construction equipment becomes larger and more complex. The daily maintenance and repairment of construction equipment turns into a job of high consumption and input in the modern construction’s management.

Abstract: In the whole process of developing the management information system, people give priority to application of new technology and instrument such as the newly developed instrument Visual Studio from Microsoft. Connected with SQL Server 2000 data base, VB.NET, ASP.NET and ADO.NET technology are able to make the structure of softwares more reasonable, convenient and pragmatic, largely increasing the overall property of the software system. According to the steps of engineering design, this passage is to illustrate the entire system in an all-around way in terms of demand analysis, integrated design, data base design, safety design as well as report design. This passage is to illustrate a design process of a management information system based on C/S and B/S multilayer structure.
