Abstract: A new tool for characterizing extended defects in Silicon Carbide (SiC) based on photoluminescence imaging is presented. In contrast to other techniques like Defect Selective Etching (DSE) or X-ray topography this technique is both fast and non-destructive. It is shown that several defect types, especially those relevant for the performance of electronic devices on SiC (i.e. Stacking Faults and Basal Plane Dislocations) can be investigated. The tool is therefore usable in research and development for a quick feedback on process related defect generation as well as in a production environment for quality control.

Abstract: Corporate logistics a major tool used to facilitate corporate goals. By definition it is a set of tasks, arranged in a way that promotes optimum material, information and value flow during the transformation process. As the above definition implies, the corporate logistics provides visualization of material flow throughout the corporation. Whereas the planning defines what will be produced, the actual production defines the production means. In contrast, the logistics provides for means and measures to ensure production preparedness, providing not only for the actual production of goods but also for a timely and effective information flow in order to achieve optimum balance of all flows in support of corporate objectives.

Abstract: With further increase of the number of on-chip device, the bus structure has not met the requirements. In order to make better communication between each part, the chip designers need to explore a new structure to solve the interconnection of on-chip device. The paper proposes a network-on-chip dynamic and adaptive algorithm which selects NoC platform with 2-dimension mesh as the carrier, incorporates communication energy consumption and delay into unified cost function and uses ant colony optimization to realize NOC map facing energy consumption and delay. The experiment indicates that compared with random map, single objective optimization can separately saves (30%~47 %) and ( 20%~39%) in communication energy consumption and execution time compared with random map, and joint objective optimization can further excavate the potential of time dimension in mapping scheme dominated by the energy.

Abstract: In this paper is presented a comparative study between using extended Kalman filter and particle filter applied on SLAM algorithm for an autonomous mobile robot. The robot navigates through an unknown indoor environment in which are placed 80 landmarks and it creates the map of the environment. Because the sensors placed on the robots produce measurement errors it is necessary to use Bayesian filters as the Kalman filter or the particle filter. An application was implemented that shows the estimated measurement errors produced while using both filters in order to create the estimated map of the closed environment in which the autonomous mobile robot is navigating.

Abstract: Oxygen indicator can monitor the quality and safety of the food that transport from producers to consumers by perceiving the oxygen concentration in packaging, and then inform the consumer about the product’s safety, shelf life and availability by sensing the visually physical change, which will widely used for modified atmosphere packaging in food packaging.

Abstract: The article mainly investigated the effect of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) on quality characters of sturgeon caviar during storage at 0 °C . MAP tested included MAP1 (100%CO2), MAP2 (70%CO2+30%N2), MAP3 (50%CO2+50%N2), MAP4 (30%CO2+70%N2) and MAP5 (100%N2). In order to let gas mixture interact with caver samples, the caviar directly exposed to modified atmosphere in MAP groups, and the control group (AIR) is prepackaged in tins and maintained in the air. Color properties, biochemical analyses (the volatile basic nitrogen values (TVB-N), the thiobarbituric acid values (TBA )) of sturgeon caviar were recorded before packaging (day 0) and after 1, 3 and 5 months of storage. The results showed that the MAP treatments in the study may delay the protein deterioration to some extend and MAP4 group exposed a little advantage to L*. but MAP treatments didn’t show an positive effects on the a*, b*and TBA.

Abstract: 3D virtual campus construction mainly includes several key techniques and links, such as material resources collection and processing (including campus CAD graphic design and material texture image), preliminary modeling of 3D building, models optimization and texture mapping, scene integration and rendering baking derived of 3D building and system integration platform and so on. This paper attempts to study the key technology and the specific production process in every link of 3D virtual campus system, and use professional software Uinty3D as the system integration platform, so as to construct a complete virtual campus system.

Abstract: Image denoising is still a challenging problem for researchers. The conventional methods for image denoising often smooth the images and result in blurring the edges. In this paper, however, we consider not only the noise removal ability but also another important requirement for image denoising procedures that is true image structures, such as edges, should be preserved. To this end, we propose a maximum a posterior (MAP) image denoising algorithm using a novel edge-preserving Markov random field (MRF) model. Considering edges tend to be continuous in space, the connectivity of structure tensor is defined to describe edges. And the revised Markov random field model is proposed by using the edge connectivity, which can adaptively control the degree of smoothing. The experiments show that our new method gives superior performance in terms of both objective criteria and subjective human vision when compared with related MRF models.

Abstract: This paper adopts GMM-UBM (Gaussian Markov Model-Uniform Background Model) when model speaker recognition system considering of lacking data. In the aspect of adapting in speaker recognition system modeling and parameter estimating, attentions are put on researching in how to improve recognition rate. In the side of adapting in speaker recognition system modeling, we will ameliorate conventional MAP (Maximum A Posterior Probability) means to get speaker recognition model, apply MLLR (Maximum Likelihood Linear Regression) and EigenVoice adaptation ways which used in speech recognition into adapting in speaker recognition system modeling, and compare the results with MAP means.

Abstract: This paper presents the design and development of a Mobile Augmented Reality Map (MARM) which shows map information on the real world video rather than a plane. The proposed system uses wireless Geographic Information System (GIS), and video camera and gyroscope of a smart phone. MARM has the advantage of GIS and the convenience of mobile phones, and is an extremely intuitive way to use map.
