Abstract: Firefighter uniform made of various flame retardant materials is put as the object. Analyzing the thermal protective performance of different composite structures covering outer fabrics, lagging materials and comfortable layer materials, discuss the best combination of supporting structures. Adoption flash fire simulation, verify the integrated prevention ability of firefighter uniform. The matching of different levels has a significant impact on the thermal protective performance, first the outer layer, then comfortable layer and thermal protective coating. Although inherent fire resistant fiber for the main material of the outer fabric has better durability and thermal protective performance, the fire might experience obvious contraction which leads to embrittlements. For insulation flocculus, the ratio of aramid fiber 1313 and aramid fiber 1414 at 9:1 has excellent thermal insulation. For comfortable layer, inherent fire resistant fiber has no notable effect on the clothing’s overall thermal protection performance; the polysulfonamide fiber is a relative better choice.

Abstract: Lying in the southwest of China and having a very unique environment and history, north Guangxi is known for its great variety of natural conditions and folk cultures. Addressing the application of the traditional construction material from the ecological prospective, this paper looks into how the traditional construction materials are utilized in the folk houses in the northern part of Guangxi, the reason behind and the impacts upon the architecture. The related finding will provide suggestions on the protection, renovation, as well as the inheritance of the traditional folk architectural heritage.

Abstract: This Paper Aims from the Simulation Tests to Highlight the Influence of the Diameter and Material Quality, Reflected by the Flow Limit of the Pipe and the Quality and Technological Parameters at the Bending under Pressure of the Pipes. from Literature, those Quality Parameters which Characterize a Correct Bending are: the Ovality of the Transversal Section, the Variation of the Wall Thickness or Eccentricity, the Lack of Whetstones, the Resistance in Function of the Bent Pipe. Pipe Material Characteristics Influence the Quality Parameters of the under Pressure Modeling Process, in the Sense that at the Materials with Small Flow Limit, Ovality or Variation of the Wall Thickness are Small. at Pipes under Pressure Modeling, Ovalities and Variation of the Wall Thickness are in Permissible Limits Valid Recommended for Domains without Special Precision Restrictions.

Abstract: Nanostructured materials have gained a lot of importance in the latest technologies due to their amazing mechanical, thermal, and even nuclear properties. Either used as classic protective coatings or particle detectors, nanostructured materials require special synthesis methods, from physical or chemical vapour deposition, flame synthesis to plasma processing. The complex phenomena accompanying their synthesis required the deep study of the thermodynamic parameters of such systems, with special emphasis on a theoretical approach which is independent to the synthesis method and generally applicable. The complex mathematical description of such phenomena and the solution to the thermodynamic functions of the system, achieved in many cases by numerical methods, was often done by strong commercial codes. Despite the efforts, many of the predicted synthesis parameters did not match experimental determinations, and furthermore, conducted to confusing and even wrong results regarding especially the pressure and temperature range required to obtain the quality materials. The present work aims to draw a comparative computational analysis of nanostructured materials, indicating not only some commercial code results, but also the differences in softwares, methods, theoretical approach and conclusions. Both similarities and differences are underlined by the numerical and graphical solutions, as offered by various commercial codes, revealing strong and weak aspects in thermodynamic considerations. The output of such a computational thermodynamic analysis doesnt depend on the synthesis method, but on the assumptions done and the materials under evaluation, and presents a good concordance with many experimental data, either obtained during authors work or literature-reported. The study is useful when needing the synthesis parameters, such as temperature, system and component pressure, feedstock composition, the degree of freedom analysis, the Gibbs free energy, the driving force, the phase diagrams, the pressure-temperature or pressure-volume graph. Taking into account the balance between assumptions, accuracy, and effective nanostructured material, one has to choose the most suitable commercial code and approach in order to obtain the a-priori thermodynamic characterization of the system.

Abstract: EPS, XPS and PU plates etc. are often selected as the insulating layer in external thermal insulation system. Although featured by good thermal insulation properties and low costs, these materials are provided with major fire potential. Therefore, fireproof treatment methods for the thermal insulation materials and fireproof structural measure for the system are proposed in this paper based on the combustion tests on the thermal insulation materials, so as to increase the fire protection safety of the external thermal insulation system.
