Abstract: The paper, in which Government Affair Workflow Model as an illustrated application is discussed, clarifies nature and concept of Ontology. Based on the characteristics of the workflow model and application of Government Affair Workflow , this paper puts forward Government Affair Workflow Model and creates a Workflow Meta-Model, Document Meta-Model and Determent Meta-Model and offers framework of OWL+RDF+XML. It is proved in the experiments that Ontology can be applied effectively in Government Affairs Workflow.

Abstract: the workflow process model is actually the computational description of the business process, which includes all the required information in the process, such as the conditions of the beginning and ending in the process every task item in the business process the information transferring rules between every task and the required application tools or programs and so on. This paper first introduces the standard workflow reference model, then it proposes the meta-model of the workflow, and finally it analyzes the operating process of the workflow cases.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of concepts and terminology inconsistent of cross-organizational business process management, we have studied the methods of Domain Ontology construction and BPMNO elements, and constructed Meta ontology model of Logistic Warehousing business process. According to this, we further construct Logistics Warehousing domain ontology described by BPMN elements that makes it semantic.

Abstract: Chinese train control system is abbreviated as CTCS. And there are five levels in CTCS, and CTCS-3 is used for the high speed railway which includes the long rail lines, the different regions, and the rich variety of scenes. It is very important to describe efficiently the relation of the objects for the design and the modeling of the railway visualization. This paper proposes the multi-resolution modeling of CTCS-3 visualization based on meta-model, and introduces the formal description of this meta-model by XML. The formal description examples have certified that this method can provide the enough grammar rules for the reusability of CTCS-3 visualization model.

Abstract: Finite element (FE) model updating of structures using vibration test data has received considerable attentions in recent years due to its crucial role in fields ranging from establishing a reality-consistent structural model for dynamic analysis and control, to providing baseline model for damage identification in structural health monitoring. Model updating is to correct the analytical finite element model using test data to produce a refined one that better predict the dynamic behavior of structure. However, for real complex structures, conventional updating methods is difficult to be utilized to update the FE model of structures due to the heavy computational burden for the dynamic analysis. Meta-model is an effective surrogate model for dynamic analysis of large-scale structures. An updating method based on the combination between meta-model and component mode synthesis (CMS) is proposed to improve the efficiency of model updating of large-scale structures. The effectiveness of the proposed method is then validated by updating a scaled suspender arch bridge model using the simulated data.

Abstract: The common information model (CIM) is crucial to the Smart Grid. However, its updates always cause the unmatched data mapping and model ontology confusion among integrated systems because of the ambiguous and unintuitive CIM update processes. The CIM meta-model was specifically designed to solve these problems. Its XSD-based ontology consisted of basic modeling steps and process information that bridged the gap among CIM UML/RDFS/RDF in compliance with the IEC 61968 standard. The corresponding scheme and application scenarios also presented to support the novel model transformation between different versions of the CIM for data integration.

Abstract: To improve the timing related performance of the embedded software of automotive control system, a performance modeling language has been developed based on UML (Unified Modeling Language) using meta-modeling technique. The proposed language consists of three kinds of meta-models used to define the high-level modeling paradigms for software structure, target platform and runtime system respectively. The modeling environment configured by the proposed language and software modules of functional model importation, components allocation, task forming and timing analysis can reuse the existing functional models, add timing requirement as well as resource constraints, and fulfill formal timing analysis at an early design stage. As results, the reliability of the automotive embedded control software can be improved and the development cycle and cost can also be reduced.

Abstract: Product conceptual design is a problem-solving activity based on knowledge engineering. Information model of product conceptual design includes functional knowledge, effect knowledge, principle solution knowledge and their relationships. This paper is devoted to presenting a general product information processing method for product conceptual design based on improved meta-model. The representation of product function, domain, relationship, behavior, structure, property based on the above meta-model are proposed step by step. The methodology is obviously helpful for product innovation.

Abstract: For realizing information sharing and interchange between product design process and resources to solve the problems about design complicated and collaborative difficult in design process of complex product. The Process integrated control of product multidisciplinary collaborative design (MCD) was analyzed firstly in this paper, a detailed description is given of the organization structure and modeling process of MCD-oriented Integration of Product Design Meta-model ;then the process integrated control method based on MCD-oriented Integration of Product Design Meta-model was proposed, and concrete implement process of process integrated control method was introduced to effectively realize information sharing and interchange between product design process and resources, to improve quality and efficiency of product design.

Abstract: To decrease the difficulty of business process modeling, the domain-specific modeling (DSM) method and the frame of model driven architecture (MDA) were discussed in this paper. By applying DSM and MDA, the meta-model consisting of domain schema and domain template was established to simplify the business process. Then the character property, relationship property and operation of business-process-oriented DSM (BP-DSM) meta-model were described. The meta-model and application template would be consummated by continuous instantiation and abstraction of the domain concepts. By extracting and accumulating a large number of enterprises' templates within the same industry, the industry-oriented model template would be ultimately established.
