Abstract: The new adiabatic multiple coating is composed of surface coating and ground coating. The main raw material of surface coating is diatomite and that of ground coating is zircon powder. This paper separately study on the formula of the surface and ground coating. The results show that the adiabatic and other properties of composite coating are good and the coating can be used on the metal mold to cast the ferritic nodular cast iron (ferrite% >95%). And the using life of metal mold is improved.

Abstract: Aimed at the work conditions and the failure of the grinding ball in ball grinding, High chromium cast iron with the characteristics of long service life, high abrasion resistance and good shock resistance must be chose in the ball grinding . The best mixture ratio of chemical compositions was pointed out, and the production technological process by using die cast is introduced.

Abstract: A prototype three-dimensional tool oscillation system for finishing metal molds, which can oscillate a tool in a figure-8 motion, has been developed. When such a tool motion is used, the lapping direction alternatively changes and consequently a very smooth surface might be achieved in a relatively short time in the presence of a very fine abrasive compound. The developed tool oscillation system consists of three multilayer piezoelectric transducers. The orientation of the tool motion can be changed in three dimensional space. This paper describes the structure of the tool oscillation system, the driving method of the three piezoelectric transducers for oscillating a tool in a figure-8 motion and the measurement results for the tool motions.
