Abstract: Proportional valve-cylinder buffering positioning system was designed based on PID control method, which has simple structure, strong anti-pollution ability, convenient use and maintenance, and high precision. The system is endowed with high engineering value owing to its ability to achieve buffering positioning of cylinder in optional position of the whole cylinder stroke with positioning precision within ±0.2mm enough to meet the positioning requirement of manipulator.

Abstract: We propose a new control scheme based on analyzing the problems existed in the original machine tool. We use single chip Microcomputer as controller, stepper motor to drive machine table, and power monitor for grinding contact detecting. The principle of grinding contact detection was elaborated, the structure of computer hardware and software are presented. The developed control system has been used for machine. The results show that the control system runs properly and achieves the desired effect.
