Abstract: Separating fluorite from quartz and calcite by forth flotation can be both in weak-acidized (pH 6.0) condition and weak alkali (pH 9.0) condition. The experiment results have shown that ZnSO4 can decrease the depression that water glass works on the fluorite, and acidized water glass has a selective inhibition on the silicate minerals. The close flowsheet protocolled in the experiment can obtain the content of CaF2, SiO2 in the final concentrate are 97.89%, 0.91% respectively, and the recovery rate of CaF2 is 84.18%, which is reach the requirement of the plant.

Abstract: Hydraulic fracturing is a very important technique to increase the productivity and recovery of oil reservoirs with low pressure or high depth. The hydraulic fracturing technique is a method of well stimulation in which liquid under high pressure is pumped down a well to fracture the reservoir rock adjacent to the wellbore. Propping agents are used to keep the fractures/cracks open. They can be made from the reject of mineral extraction processes when they present specifics characteristic. The aim of this paper is the evaluation of the use of industrial rejects to the development of ceramic synthetic proppants that are resistant to chemical corrosion and high mechanical strength in aqueous acid and salt water environment. In this study, industrial rejects from nickel sulfide ore flotation (grey mud - GM), red mud (RM) from Bayer process and black mud (BM) from Caron processing of nickel was used as raw material for the production of ceramic synthetic proppants. The material processing was performed through drying, milling, pressing, sintering and characterizing raw material. Several characterization techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), high temperature dilatometry and compression strength test were performed after sintering to evaluate the technological potential of recycling these metallurgical and mineral rejects. Mechanical properties were improved after sample sintering. The results show that it is possible to manufacture ceramics of high strength and resistance to acidic/salt water environment as a result of processing minerals reject.

Abstract: This article tells us how to use Auto CAD and 3DS MAX to design the procedure of 3D animation and the computer simulation in the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables. It introduces the essential factors of all parts modelling, animation parameterssetting, simulated connection and design in the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables. We can realize the animation and simulation of the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables .And we introduce the applying foreground and significance of the computer simulation technique in the Mineral processing.

Abstract: The reserve of sedimentary phosphate deposits in Guizhou province in western China is huge, but has been no development because of its difficulties of comprehensive utilization. Using mineral processing techniques, Rare earth containing phosphate rock flotation and flotation concentrate leaching test study were done. Rare earth enrichment in those processes was studied too. Through rougher flotation conditions test, it was determined that the optimal rougher flotation conditions were grinding fineness 75% -0.074mm, H2SO4, H3PO4 and SOP dosage of 10kg/t, 0.15kg/t and 0.8 kg/t. A reverse flotation flowsheet consisted of one roughing, one cleaning and one scavenging stage was used for the closed-circuit flotation tests. Phosphate concentrate could be got with P2O5, MgO, REE grade of 31.87%, 0.98%, 0.15% and recovery of 85.83%, 8.84%, 86.81% respectively. P2O5 recoveries and REE recoveries of phosphate concentrate was a positive linear relationship. Under the condition of liquid/solid3:1, acid/ore ratio 1.2, leaching time 3.5 hours and temperature 75°C, the phosphate concentrate was leached by sulfuric acid. The better indicators that P2O5 leaching rate of 95.92% and REE leaching rate of 52.11% could got.

Abstract: The test simple was taken from old tailing in Burma. The results of the chemical analysis and the phase analysis indicated that the grade of Lead was 2.84%, with the oxidation rate of 58.33% and the grade of zinc was 3.22%, with the oxidation rate of 16.56% in the old tailing. Through the research of the flotation separation test, the optimal grinding fineness (-0.044mm) was accounts for 73%. The optimum dosage of sodium sulfide was 1500g/t and the dosage of potassium dichromate was 600g/t. The separation effect of copper and lead was better, the ultimate concentration index: the grade of copper was 16.58% in the copper concentrate and the recovery was 56.18%. The grade of lead was 48.83% and the recovery was 96.67% in the lead concentrate.

Abstract: The run-of-mine ore samples which have been used in the study were taken from a fluorite ore. The grade of fluorite was 28.65%. From the condition test, the optimal grinding fineness was-0.074mm accounted for 79.5%. The final optimal reagent system was A1B3C3D3E3 with comprehensive consideration. That is, sodium carbonate was 2000 g/t, sodium silicate was 1000 g/t, aluminum sulfate was 200 g/t, sodium hexametaphosphate usage was 1000 g/t, oleic acid dosage for 2000 g/t. Through the closed-circuit test of flotation, the final index was the fluorite grade of the concentrate was 97.69% and the recovery was 48.07%.
