Abstract: As it is difficult to confirm mixed shape and mixing ratio which depend on the actual mixer inside the SCR, the present study on mixed shape and mixing ratio has been conducted by producing an SCR system simulator. Total 19 sensors were installed and the system was designed not to allow formation of a negative pressure inside the exhaust pipe. The experiment was conducted setting engine rpm, temperature, mixer shape, and distance as the experiment variables. As a result of the experiment, in the case of non-mixer type, a phenomenon was found where urea became locally packed as the exhaust gas and urea were not mixed and, when an R-type mixer was applied, urea was formed being spread on the whole. It was also confirmed that uniformity index was increased by 8 % in average when an R-type mixer was used in comparison to that of the non-mixer type, and the non-mixer type failed to achieve flow uniformity of 90 % or higher while the case where an R-type mixer was used could achieve it when the distance was 20 cm or bigger. Based on such a result, changes in the uniformity of urea and exhaust gas depending on existence of a mixer, exhaust gas temperature, engine rpm, and distance could be confirmed. It is thought that additional studies are required to be conducted later on the effect of a change in the mixer shape on flow uniformity.

Abstract: Many of the machines and systems having rotating components are designed for operation at high speeds, and hence, it is obvious that only these elements are damaged initially and becomes the root cause of a defect in any machine. Using on line, continuous monitoring techniques, any defect in a rotating part can be detected at its initial stage itself and the user could be alerted before it leads to a catastrophic failure. In this experimental work of the acoustical failure diagnosis, three domestic mixers, the first one in healthy condition, the next mixer about to fail and the last with completely damaged bush were analyzed, with a Type-1 and Delta ohm HD2010 Model sound level meter (SLM). The acoustical readings of the three mixers were measured and tabulated in decibel, using Delta Ohm Noise Studio software. Graphs were drawn for different sets of readings and by analyzing the graphs of the three mixers, the threshold value of the initiation of the defect was found to be 80 decibel, at which failure starts.

Abstract: In the paper, according to crushing and attrition of material on mixer blade, the mechanical model of material on blade is established. According to nonlinear vibration and the basic theory of rotor dynamics, Mechanical model of vibration system and differential equations of motion are established. This paper has adopted the arithmetic of fourth-order Runge-Kutta, analyzing wave forms graph, chart of axis track, phase plane plot of system movement. Analysis results show that mixer system appears chaotic motion under some certain design parameters. This state of motion on mixers can better destroy cement coagulation group, increasing the number of effective collision of concrete particle, which can effectively improve the microscopic homogeneity of concrete and improve efficiency of concrete mixing.

Abstract: By using ODS (Operating Deflection Shapes) technology, the modal parameters of the rack of a batching system mixer under operating condition are identified and the modal shape and modal damping ratio of the rack in a few working frequencies are obtained. The results show that, the batching machine rack on working condition has a significant effect on some frequency and the work principal modes that appear as before and after exercise of two beams above the rack and swaying motion of the brackets of the two side surface. This paper provides a valuable reference for the structure vibration optimization of batching system mixer.

Abstract: A low voltage, low power up-conversion mixer is presented here for 2.4GHz wireless sensor networks (WSN). It was based on a double-balanced Gilbert cell type. The current-reuse technique was used to reduce the power consumption and negative-resistance compensation technique was used to improve the conversion gain. The mixer was designed in 0.18μm RF CMOS technology, and was simulated with Cadence SpectreRF. The simulation results indicate that the conversion gain is 6.37dB, the noise figure is 15.36dB and the input 1dB compression point is-10.3dBm, while consuming 1mA current for operating voltage at 1V.

Abstract: This article is based on cooling water temperature, mixing time and rotor speed of downstream mixer to study effects of different process parameters on rubber mixing in tandem internal mixer. The experimental results show that the cooling water temperature has an important significance to improve the mixing quality, and the best cooling water temperature is about 30°C. Mixing time must be strictly controlled and the best range of mixing time is about 80 ~ 90s. Rotor speed has an significant effect on the physical properties of rubber, and the best rotor speed is about 30r/min. There is an optimal fill factor, and the best fill factor is 0.35.

Abstract: In this paper, a 3.5 GHz CMOS sub-harmonic mixer for LTE-advanced applications is presented. The mixer with the bulk-controlled technique improves the linearity and mitigates the power of the local oscillator. The proposed mixer is implemented by tsmc 0.18 μm Mixed Signal RF CMOS 1P6M process and consumes 2.2 mA from a 1.2 V supply. The proposed mixer operates at 3.5GHz LTE-advanced bands and achieves maximum input third-order intercept point (IIP3) of 2.3dBm, power conversion gains of 1.3 dB.
