Abstract: In mobile computing, mobility management is a fundamental issue. The substance of mobility management are proxy and forwarding based model to achieve, the difference of a variety of technologies are the choice which proxy and forwarding entity is chosen and what strategy to implement proxy and forwarding services. The paper propose a basic framework based on mobile agent technology forwarding proxy migration, combined with a mechanism for automatic proxy service deployment for mobile environments by using active network nodes, collaborative support to complete the optimization proxy services, which has a unique advantage of dynamic execution, reducing the switching overhead, improving efficiency of the system and showing good applied characteristics.

Abstract: This paper proposes a communication scheme for heterogeneous wireless and wired sensor networks. In the scheme, through a common protocol to shield the differences of different types of wireless-wired networks, to realize the mobility management for heterogeneous wireless and wired network environment. In addition, access technology of the second layer can be shielded, and provided a unified interface for upper protocol layers. From the theoretical and simulative perspectives, the paper analyzes the performance parameters, including the mobile function, throughput capacity, energy consumption and network lifetime, and the analytical results show that the performance of the scheme is better than other mobility management scheme.

Abstract: To achieve the goal that anybody could communicate with anyone at anytime in anyplace and in anyway, many technologies, such as GSM、CDMA、WCDMA、CDMA2000、TD-SCDMA、802.11a/b/g and so on, come true in the past years. And now, many B3G or 4G technologies are being studied. It is well-known that the future network would be heterogeneous networks. It is studied in this paper the mobility management of wireless heterogeneous network and a reversing paging process of callee is proposed which integrates paging and handoff. In the process when the caller pages the callee choosing its best suited network on one end, the callee chooses its own best network to begin a reversing paging process to set up the communication. The simulation tells that the proposed process has better performances in the call delay, the call succeeding rate and the wireless signal cost than that of the existing process in which it sets up the call first and then does vertical handoff independently.
