Abstract: Water loss poses a significant problem for water utilities and has received a lot of attention. To fulfill the increasing global demand for water, water supply system operations must be streamlined, making leak detection and location crucial. Water utilities have developed a number of techniques over time for finding leaks in water distribution networks (WDNs). These methodologies range from simple visual inspection to the use of hardware systems and now software using models and algorithms. Data from flow or pressure measurements, which are required for the analysis of water networks, is becoming more readily available with the introduction of intelligent sensor devices. Along with the introduction of geographic information systems (GIS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) in the water sector, the deployment of model-driven methodologies for leak detection and localization has found extensive use. This paper aims to provide a concise introductory reference for early researchers in the development of a model-based approach for leak detection in WDNs. Thus, a survey of model-based approaches is presented, along with current research trends and applications of model-driven methodologies for leak detection in water supply networks. Several model-driven approaches and research studies for each case are discussed. Some challenges and research gaps are also discussed.

Abstract: This paper discusses the state-of-art of adaptive control approaches for nonlinear systems to date and presents a new classification framework, in which the existing adaptive control approaches can be broadly classified into two categories: model-driven methods and data-driven methods. The principle, main research progress, and inherent problems of these methods are reviewed. Finally, some practical considerations and future directions are also briefly explored and discussed.

Abstract: An embedded control system development methodology based on model-driven development method was emerged, the basic features and architecture of the embedded control system of specific areas were analyzed and summarized, and the key elements of this specific domain were identified and extracted. Afterwards, a visible element modeling technique was used to build a directly graphical model system, and this kind of embedded modeling technique based on model-driven was applied to realize a model of embedded Robot control system design. As a result, the Robot source model of this system was obtained.

Abstract: A comprehensive and systematic model for the production process of large-scale equipment manufacturing can reduce the cost and time of the development and enforcement of the management system. The characters of a modeling language for systems engineering, SysML(Systems Modeling Language), are introduced, and through analyzing the complexity of the production management system for complex product, the basic requirements of its modeling are given; With the practical example in our project, SysML based model is built for production management system of complex product manufacturing ,the application of requirements diagram, use case diagram, block definition diagram, internal block diagram and activity diagram is introduced emphatically.

Abstract: Service cloud provides a platform to operate different kinds of services through Internet. Service monitoring is a crucial issue for the guaranteed service delivery in service cloud. However, most monitoring approaches in service computing domain are specific and focus on IT level. The challenge of how to monitor diverse aspect of different services simply and flexibly needs to be overcome. In this paper, we present a model-driven approach for service monitoring from both business and IT perspective. In the approach, a service monitoring metamodel is put forward to define various service monitoring models on demand. The resulted model can specify the monitored information and the monitoring process in both business level and IT level. A service cloud monitoring system for the approach is also described in this paper.
