Abstract: There were many problems when natural flake graphite was used in gypsum as an absorbing agent, such as absorbing large amount of water, a poor interfacial compatibility and so on. In this paper, polycarboxylate-based water reducer and AES (sodium alcohol ether sulphate) are used to modify graphite-gypsum system. The results show that both agents are effective to improve the properties of gypsum system and the former is best. Compared with the sample without any reagents, polycarboxylate-based water reducer can reduce the water-solid ratio from 1.1 to 0.9, increase the compressive strength from 0.106Mpa to 0.701Mpa and the flexural strength form 0.064Mpa to 0.312Mpa.

Abstract: This work reports the flammability properties of Nanocomposites reinforced with silica and PTFE nanoparticles and toughened with an elastomeric ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). Through trial and simulation study of the flame retardant thermoplastic polymer and melting characteristics of PP in the combustion process. The study found that modified PP composites have good flame retardancy compared to PP in case of fire relatively. In the study, the melting characteristics of the thermoplastic polymer affected the mass loss rate in the combustion stage.Nanocomposites experienced low plastic mass loss compared with PP, this has been related to pyrolysis mechanism of polymer. In general,The polymers undergoing depolymerization will lead to a rapid volatilization and therefore experienced much less melting. The results showed that:total heat release of nanocomposites was higher than polypropylene, while the average heat release rate, the maximum heat release rate, the average effective heat of combustion, the average mass loss rate, the average specific extinction area, and other indicators were lower than polypropylene.

Abstract: Ferric oxide modified montmorillonite (Fe2O3@M) was prepared with the method of microwave-assisted ion-exchange and in-situ precipitation, with Fe2O3 nanoparticles intercalated into the interlayer of montmorillonite. Rhodamine B (RhB) was employed as a probe compound to study the adsorption characteristics of organic pollutants with Fe2O3@M as the adsorbent. The effect of pH and adsorbent dosage were investigated and the results showed that the maximum of adsorption capacity for RhB was 58.8 mg g-1. The adsorption capacity of Fe2O3@M for RhB was augmented along with the increase of adsorbent dosage. The Fe2O3 modified montmorillonite exhibits a much better adsorption capacity in an acidic solution than that in an alkaline solution. The adsorption process was well fitted the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm model, respectively, and the adsorption reaction kinetics complied with a pseudo second-order kinetics model.

Abstract: In this paper, the diphenyl methane diisocyanate (MDI) was used to modify montmorillonoid (MMT) and got the organic montmorillonite (OMMT), which was used with the monomers of PET by in situ polymerization method to prepare PET/MMT nanocomposition. The OMMT was analyzed by the X ray diffraction (XRD) to test the change of the spacing layer. Dispersion of MMT in the PET/MMT nanocomposites were studied with XRD and SEM and by means of thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) on the thermal stability of PET/MMT nanocomposites. The results showed that, MDI modified MMT successfully, and the compatibility of MMT and PET was increased .

Abstract: This work reports melamine resin was modified with siloxane, Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) to improve its structure and properties, and accomplished a wide research and study on the effect of different reaction conditions, including temperature, PH and solid contents. Using infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TG) and DSC to analyzed the samples and study their composition and performance. The results showed that siloxane, Polyvinyl alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG) modifier can make the performance of the melamine better than unmodified ones.

Abstract: Based Trajectory Identification projectile velocity sensor with high precision, interference, etc., but it is currently only limited to standard meteorological conditions ballistics identification, for non-standard analysis of the impact of weather conditions less. Through in-depth research paper based on the wind speed sensor ballistic missile identification accuracy, the paper introduces a non-standard method selected point on the trajectory identification wind impact speed by calculating fixed point identification result, you can calculate the velocity at any point recognition result, so as to achieve the purpose of correcting the wind effect and verified its feasibility.

Abstract: This paper presents an evolutionary way for the robot to plan path. The way is based on the Evolutionary Artificial Potential Field approach. APF is an efficient way for a robot to plan its path, and the evolutionary APF can help the robot to jump out of the local minimum point. A matrix is integrated in the new algorithm. The matrix can modify the direction of a robot when the robot is trapped in a local minimum point. The force which has been changed will prompt the robot to escape from the local minimum point. Simulation result shows that the optimized algorithm is an effective way to solve the local minimum problem.

Abstract: As the surface of polyester fabric is hydrophobic, it is not comfortable to wear. In this paper, the surface of polyester fabric was ionized by an ionic agent. The result showed that the ionized polyester fabric had wonderful hydrophilicity. The water contact angle of ionized polyester fabric decreased to 0o, and the capillary rise height increased from 0.4cm to 14.4cm, water content from 23.77% to 119.78%. Water spraying rate decreased from 4 degree to 1 degree. The whiteness of ionized polyester fabric kept well.

Abstract: The water reducing performance, retarding effect, air entrainment, flexural and compressive strength of polyacrylic ester (PAE) latex modified cement mortar were investigated with fixed flow values. The research shows that PAE latex has water-reducing performance. The amount of water used in modified cement mortar decreases with increasing dosage of PAE latex. Because of the retarding effect, PAE latex delays the hydration process of cement. PAE latex has a strong effect of air entraining, and the air content of fresh mortar can be controlled by suitable dosage of defoamer. With the same air content of fresh mortar, PAE latex can obviously improve the flexural strength of cement mortar, and has no adverse effect on its compressive strength.

Abstract: Boric acid and glycerol were adopted as the starting materials to react with cation exchange resin (CER) as the catalyst. The conversion of the products was characterized by acid value, titrated by potassium hydroxide (KOH) ethanol solution. It showed that the yield of the optimum products got to about 89%. Then they were modified with EO, gaining more than four carbon chains, and hydrolytic time was prolonged to 48 h. The structures of the unmodified and modified products were further confirmed by IR. The results indicated that hard hydrolytic borate ester surfactants with C-O-C bond were synthesized.
