Abstract: Grinding is a machining technology for plane surfaces and cylindrical surfaces in general. In comparison with cutting, higher accuracy can be provided and it is easier to manufacture high-hardness materials using grinding. However, the grinding wheel surface state changes during grinding, and grazing, clogging and shedding may then lead to problems. As these problems degrade the accuracy and productivity of grinding and the surface integrity of the work material, it is important to select an appropriate grinding condition to avoid the problems. In this study, a novel in-process system for monitoring the grinding wheel surface temperature and grinding state in real time, was proposed. A thermocouple is embedded in the grinding wheel in the developed system. The measured temperature data are transmitted to the external terminal equipment by a wireless transmitter built into the tool shank. Grinding wheel surface temperature was measured on four kinds of grinding wheels using the developed system. As a result, the grinding wheel surface temperature was measured successfully. In addition, it was clarified that the temperature transition largely depends on the grinding state.

Abstract: Real-time on-line monitoring system for UHV transmission tower is located in strong electromagnetic interference environment, especially when the transmission tower encounters thunderstorm weather, lightning current can produce the stronger electromagnetic field near the power transmission tower, so the bad environment generated by strong electromagnetic interference determines the difficulty of analysis of strong electromagnetic field distribution, therefore, this design chooses to simulate strong electromagnetic field environment around the online monitoring system of UHV transmission tower in the laboratory, carries on the analysis, then summarizes its impact on the monitoring system of the wireless channel and puts forward protective measures.

Abstract: A monitoring system of leading phase operation of generator based on virtual instrument is presented in this paper. The system is composed of signal acquisition module, signal interface conversion module, data processing module, output control module, data display module and communication module. The signal of leading phase operation of generator is collected firstly. After the signal acquisition, conversion and processing, the related processing and analysis by virtual instrument software module in the computer is carried out. Then the display and control signal is outputted. The real-time monitoring of generator leading phase operation state is realized by the system. The system can realize the real-time and comprehensive monitoring of leading phase operation of generator. The system also can achieve the collection, analysis, processing of data of leading phase operation, and the control, communication and display of output signal. Compared to traditional monitoring system, this system has the advantage of simple, powerful, real-time and high accuracy, and can be carried out through the network of online monitoring and remote monitoring. The monitoring system has greatly reduced the overall cost. The development cycle of the system is also short.

Abstract: Urban water supply pipe network is an important part of municipal infrastructure systems, is the basis for the survival and development of the city. How to guarantee the safety operation of the water supply pipe network, to reduce water supply pipe network leakage rate, to prevent explosion occurred, and fundamentally improve the water supply pipe network operation management level, become the water supply enterprise high attention and urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, this paper studies monitoring system of water supply pipe network based on GPRS. First, the characteristics and the importance of the water supply pipe network, so using GPRS technology. Then, detailing the characteristics and advantages of GPRS technology. Secondly, introduces the composition of the urban water supply pipe network monitoring system. Finally, the realization of specific functions will be described. Application of monitoring system for real-time monitoring, fully guaranteed the security of the water supply system.

Abstract: The paper is devoted to organization the storage of heterogeneous data in the karst processes monitoring system. We discussed the basic requirements for the storage system and described its structure. The system includes a databases monitoring of surface karst, monitoring of underground karst processes, monitoring of hydrogeological processes, the photographic collection of surface karst forms and cartographic collection. We present the results of the practical implementation of the system on the example research data of area allocated for the construction of the nuclear power plant in Nizhny Novgorod on Monakovo.

Abstract: The ability of acquiring and processing information in manufacturing influences agile of manufacturing system. According to the idea that networked field information processing is realized based on intelligent nodes of field-bus technology, distributed intelligent field information processing flow is researched to synthesize multiple functions such as information gathering, information processing, warning system and field control. The method of information represented and collected was put forward. The multilayer data fusion model of distributed intelligent field information processing is built. Then the distributed LonWorks fieldbus monitoring model (DLFMM) based on LonWorks fieldbus technology is established. A monitoring system of a rail vehicle automatic door factory is shown as an example to illustrate design strategy of monitoring system based on DLFMM. This monitoring system shows that the model of distributed intelligent field information processing, DLFMM and the extraction and representation of information flow discussed in this paper are reasonable and applicable.
