Abstract: This study explores the effect of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) nanoparticles on the electrical performance of Phenosafranine (PSF) dye-based organic devices. Composite films were fabricated by blending PSF with TiO₂ nanoparticles in varying weight ratios (1:1 to 1:4), and their structural and electrical properties were systematically analyzed. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images showed that the nanoparticles were evenly spread out, which is favorable for charge movement. The I–V results, analyzed using the Cheung method and trap energy model, showed that adding a moderate amount of TiO₂ nanoparticles reduced series resistance, ideality factor, and trap energy. These changes lead to enhance carrier mobility and overall device conductivity. However, when the TiO₂ amount was too high (more than 1:3 ratio), the performance started to drop. Overall, this work shows how TiO₂ nanoparticles can help improve the overall performance of organic electronic devices by changing their structure and electrical behavior in a controlled way.

Abstract: Gamma irradiation is a particularly effective method for inducing crosslinking, which leads to improved composite characteristics. The effects of gamma irradiation on swelling percentage, flammability and morphological analysis were investigated. Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber composites were prepared with various amounts from 10-60 phr (part per hundred part of rubber) of the sepiolite particles using a two-roll mill machine. The composites were subjected to 50 kGy of gamma irradiation and compared with unirradiated composites. The results demonstrate a reduced in swelling percentage at all sepiolite loadings. The crosslinks of rubber chains into sepiolite/EPDM composites generated by gamma rays resulted in improvements in the swelling resistance. The irradiation composites, however showed lower flammability resistance to the non-irradiated composites.

Abstract: This novel research work addresses the physical properties of Lead titanate (PT), PbTiO3 sample with additives. The modification of this sample was carried out by adding calcium in proportion of 5 to 15mol%. The samples in bulk form were synthesized by utilizing traditional method of solid state synthesis. The properties like structural analysis, and grain size determination were studied for the PbTiO3 sample & for the calcium modified lead titanate (PCT). The phase identification, structural characterizations and microstructural analysis hasanalyzed in this manuscript.

Abstract: Gas sensor performance is strongly influenced by the crystal structure, composition and morphology of the material used. In this paper, structural and morphological analysis of nanocomposite SnO2-Graphene synthesized by Sol-Gel method with the composition of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 will be described. Analysis of the morphology and structure of nanocomposite SnO2-Graphene is investigated using XRD, SEM and TEM with the purpose of obtaining the crystal structure, morphology, composition and size of the resulting particles. The XRD results showed that the formation of the crystalline phase can be recorded at 2θ = 26.64; 34.2; 51.92, where the results of SEM show that the nanomaterial SnO2 has tetragonal structure while the graphene has hexagonal structure. The nanocomposite SnO2-Graphene has nanorod pattern. Furthermore, the surface analysis using TEM of nanocomposite SnO2-Graphene shows that the surface has the rod diameter in the range of 5-8 nm. The unique nanopattern of SnO2-Graphene will have potential applicability as the sensing material for CO gas sensor.

Abstract: The aim of the study was to evaluate the difference in the surface of dental ceramics, the basis of lithium disilicate, varying the concentration and time of application of the acid. Samples of IPS e.max Press (Ivoclar) were divided into: G1-control; G2 hydrofluoric acid 10% - 20 sec; G3 hydrofluoric acid 10% - 40 sec; G4 hydrofluoric acid 5% - 20 sec G5 and hydrofluoric acid 5% - 40 sec. The samples were analyzed under SEM (Carl Zeiss) confocal microscope and (Carl Zeiss). The qualitative morphologic analysis showed that 40 seconds of conditioning promoted the dissolution of the vitreous component and the ceramic crystal display for the two concentrations. Hydrofluoric acid 10% showed higher values of roughness. One can conclude that conditioning for 40 seconds is more effective than the 20 seconds for the two concentrations hydrofluoric acid and 10% promoted a higher surface roughness in the ceramic.

Abstract: In this paper analysed the forms of heavy metals (Zn Pb Cd and As) of the Smelting Slag for Lead and Zinc, using BCR sequential extraction. Different chemical morphological of heavy metals have different activity and harmfulness. Migration and Utilization of heavy metals were decided by the existent form of heavy metals in the soil, which influenced Bioactivity and Toxicity. The results show that the main forms of Zn and Cd are Oxidizable and Residual fraction, and Pb mainly occurred in Oxidizable and Reducible fraction. however, As mainly occurred in Residual fraction, which the percentage of reachs 99.56%. According to the percentage of fractions extracted in total content (As is 0.44%, Zn is 14.7%, Pb is 85.98%, Cd is 48.86%),the latent ecological risk of heavy metals varied in the descending order of,Pb Cd Zn and As.

Abstract: The wave problem of finite element solution of one dimensional stationary convection diffusion equation is analyzed. The reason for wave is the poor continuity of linear Lagrange shape function. By using exponential function based interpolation (EFBI), the results of finite element solution are compared with that of the analytical solution. The results indicate that EFBI is effective to deal with the problem of numerical wave. The shape function of three dimensional EFBI is derived and analyzed. Morphological analysis shows that EFBI has good differentiability and adaptability.

Abstract: In order to understand consumers emotional intentions and discuss the impact of high heels shape characteristic to human cognitive imagery, this paper, based on Kansei Engineering, combines the collected samples and constructed semantic space to design questionnaire with orthogonal method. With the item weights of shape elements and category utility values from the studied emotional semantic vocabulary, the designers can get the corresponding shape elements of high heels according to the target consumers ideal emotional semantics, and thus this directs the shape design of new product.

Abstract: In this paper, the application of the supervised learning system to automatic classification of leukocytes processing for the microscopic images analysis is presented. The traditional pattern classification in cellular images is typically made by experienced operators. Such procedures may present a non-standard and unstable accuracy when it depends on the operator’s capabilities and tiredness. In this study, we propose the supervised learning system to achieve an automated segmentation and classification of leukocytes based on supervised neural networks and image processing methods. The experimental results show that the proposed automatic classification learning system can effectively classify the five types of the leukocytes in microscopic cell images, as well as to compare the classification results to those obtained by the medical experts.

Abstract: In order to understand the pollution features of heavy metals in sediments of Elephant Lake in Nanchang city, sediment samples were collected and detected .Using microwave digestion and BCR Method for sediment pre-treatment, the concentrations of heavy elements were measured by ICP-OES emission spectrometer. Sediment heavy metal contents were in descending order of Zn> Pb> Cu> Cr> As> Cd. According to the national soil environmental quality standards of P.R.China, there was Cd contamination in lakebed mud. And five kinds of metals existed mainly in oxidizable (F3) and residual (F4) , indicating less risk of migration of heavy metals .
