Abstract: To analyze the diversity of expression quantity and lay foundation for real time fluorescent quantitation PCR, spleen samples of mouse were collected and mRNA were abstracted, furthermore, the mRNA were reverse transcribed into cDNA by using kit. Six cytokine genes IL-6, IL-12a, IL-12b, IFN-γ, TNF-αand iNOS were cloned and sequenced. The results demonstrated that the homogeneities of the sequences between amplified genes and cytokine genes in genebank all reached above 99%.

Abstract: The structure of DNA binding proteins is identified that has great significance for the study of gene expression regulation mechanism. The new recognition method is proposed to identify the super-secondary structure and structure domain of DNA-binding protein in this paper. The nucleotide transition probability is calculated by the known DNA-binding protein binding locus sequence. Using mouse data which downloaded from the TRANSFAC establish the binding protein super-secondary structure recognition models. The probability score is calculated by the transition probability of the binding site and the background. This method differs from the conventional method, It is neither the amino acid sequence of the protein, nor the use of homologous proteins. In order to verify the validity of the algorithm, 10 DNA-binding proteins of drosophila and yeast are used to do the experiment. The experimental results show that our method has very good recognition result.

Abstract: Intelligent Mouse is a micro-robot with special wisdom and it is a typical electro-mechanical integration system. This document has detailedly described the facture of mechanical structure, circuit design, software algorithm and other hardware system configurations. For the hardware, the control center of this mouse has used LM3S615 microcontroller which is based on the ARM® CortexTM-M3 v7M architecture developed by Luminary. This document also introduced that, the left/right-hand searching of the mouse, mapping, and calculation of the shortest path.

Abstract: A user friendly ergonomic computer input pen capable of obviating the use of the keyboard has been developed. It integrates the standard or conventional mouse functions with the touch stick input device functions. The pen-shaped input device developed can perform the normal mouse functions of scrolling and clicking together with handwriting recognition functions. From the stand point of ergonomic considerations, an input device which does not involve the keyboard and allows an operator to work efficiently is to be preferred in order to reduce the medical conditions called cumulative traumatic disorders (CTD) and repetitive strain injuries (RSI). A test set up to determine the acceptability of the ergonomic input pen using participants drawn from traditional mouse and keyboard users indicated a preference for the ergonomic computer pen. Also the average time by 15 participants to type a particular sentence containing all the letters of the English alphabet using the keyboard was 39.6 seconds, while the average time of the same 15 participants to write the same sentence using the ergonomic pen was 38.5 seconds.

Abstract: Dechlorane plus (DP) is a world-widely used flame retardant detected in the environment, biota and humans. The potential toxicity effect of DP is not well studied. In this research, mice were fed with DP-containing food. After two weeks, histopathological observation and oxidative stress was investigated in mouse liver. Our results demonstrated that over-dose DP induced inflammatory infiltration, hepatocellular swelling and oxidative stress in the mouse liver.

Abstract: By imitating to establish a pattern, which is high temperature environment in summer, effect the stress of pregnant mice, discussed preliminarily the mechanism that heat stress influence on SPF kunming mice embryo implantation. The results of this study shows that the pregnant mice at the embryos preimplantation is stressed 42°C for 2h, which could down-regulated E2 and P4 levels of blood serum and protein expression, and then down-regulated the LIF, VEGF mRNA and their proteins expressions on pregnancy 5d (after implantation),and up-regulated COX-2 mRNA and its protein expression, but down-regulated HOXa-10 mRNA expression;VEGF, COX-2 mRNA and their proteins expression were up-regulated on pregnancy 6d,eventually caused the embryos implantation and litter-size decreased.

Abstract: In this experiment, the oxidative damage of nano-CdSeS in mice brains was performed. 20 male Kunming mice were divided into 4 groups and 3 experimental groups were exposed to different doses of nano-CdSeS (0.1 mg/mL, 0.2 mg/mL and 0.4 mg/mL) by intravenous administration while the control used saline solution instead. Three days later, the enzymatic activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the damage degree of DNA were determined to assess the oxidative damage in brain tissues. Our results showed that in the experimental groups, SOD activity was inhibited and MDA content was increased as the doses rising, at the same time, tail moment and tail DNA% increased significantly when comparing with the control. And these results exhibited a certain doses-dependency relations. From results above, it demonstrated that oxidative damage of brain induced by nano-CdSeS which enter into blood–brain barrier in mice.

Abstract: Fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia are key factors which result in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). There is growing evidence that tissue-type plasminogen activator (TPA) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) may be involved in extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation in the central nervous system. In this study, the transmission electron microscope was used to observe the growth and development characteristics of the blood-brain barrier (BBB), follow by the activity of TPA and the expression of MMPs in HIE model were detected. The asphyxia in female mice within the last day of gestation was produced by a delayed cesarean section. The experiment was designed for 1 control group and 2 asphyctic groups (15min and 30min), then the activities of TPA and expression of MMPs were detected separately. The results showed that the BBB was not fully developed in newborns, their brain microvascular endothelial cells were not surrounded with intact basement membrane and only had discontinuous basement membrane-like materials of varying thickness. The activity of TPA and the expression of MMPs of brain increased after hypoxia-ischemia in vivo. Based on these findings we concluded that the basement membrane at the BBB was a weak link in the brain, TPA and MMPs could degrade components of the ECM. So these enzymes increased after hypoxia-ischemia might be able to attack the basement membrane of microvessels, then open the BBB and induce the cerebral edema.

Abstract: For some disabled people can’t use hand to control the mouse, this paper designs a novel head-controlled mouse. Using accelerometers and gyroscopes as the sensitive element of the system measure the head rotation angle. The mouse is controlled as for the relationship between the head rotation angle and the mouse move distance. For mouse click operation, this article designed a software to achieve. Considering the MEMS sensor noise affect the mouse control accuracy, using the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) to fusion the data of accelerometers and gyroscopes to obtain the optimal angle estimation. Compared with only using an accelerometer or gyroscope sensor, the method proposed in this paper for angle measurement can have high accuracy and stability, thereby improving the mouse control precision and maneuverability.
