Abstract: The invention of the Numerical Control (NC) technology have brought the new revolution of manufacturing since 20th century intermediate stage. Computer Numerical Control (CNC ) technology is the foundation of the modern manufacturing technology, integrating the traditional manufacturing technology, modern control technology and modern optical-electromechanical technology.[1,2]As the core of CNC technology, CNC system is requesting higher precision and higher speed as it develops. So it is necessary to meet the requirements of the machining surface quality and avoid the occurrences of the processing speed decline or even stall, which depends on the good controls of the acceleration and deceleration of the feed shaft [3].This article briefly analyzes some existing strategies of the acceleration and deceleration, then mainly introduces the s-shaped acceleration and deceleration curve method and the trajectory planning strategy of it.

Abstract: Motion axes should coordinate exactly in order to get high contouring accuracy. Gain matching is one of the coordinating problems. In this paper, gain matching effects on contouring accuracy are analyzed for both full-closed and half-closed control loop structures. A simple gain matching model is proposed in order to reduce the contouring error caused by unmatched gains of a multi-axis motion control system. According to this model, the contouring error can be reduced by tuning the proportional gain in the position loop of each axis. Finally, experiments are made to verify the proposed model, and the results show that the gain matching model can effectively reduce the contouring error of both linear and circular trajectory of motion control systems.

Abstract: For the shortcomings of existing multi-axis aircraft rack design a new folding mechanism of the machine arm, and then design a six-axis folding rack. By calculating the structural strength of the machine arm and apply engineering analysis software for the six-axis folding rack mechanics simulation analysis to verify its structural design is reasonable. Use 3D software to build a three-dimensional model of the six-axis folding rack, and use rapid prototyping technology, access to the kind of physical prototype six-axis folding rack, after the actual test, consistent with mission requirements.

Abstract: Nowadays micro fabrication technology is very varied and being continuously developed. One of them uses bacteria as tools that known as biomachining. Acidithiobacillus ferooxidans is a one of bacteria which can do metal removal as a source of energy. The previous research has proven the ability of Acidithiobacillus ferooxidans for material removal process. In this research, biomachining process was added by angle of inclination parameter to know the effect on copper surface profile and roughness. This method was used to get profile shape result of multi-axis in biomachining. Workpieces were patterned by photolithography method and put in the bacterial culture medium, which was inclined 20° and 30° on inclinator. Profile shape and the surface roughness measurement data were taken by SURFCOM machine. The results of this research showed that by inclining 20° and 30° of biomachining sample produced different profile shapes and surface roughness.

Abstract: Three-axis processing of laser inner engraving machine control system can carry on multi-axis linkage control. Furthermore, it ensures multi-axis of high feeding speed and trajectory control of high precision. This article introduces the design of laser inner engraving machine movement control system. The core is a digital integrator of linear interpolation algorithm to generate the desired trajectory and control XYZ axis linkage. Wide speed range of servo motor and position detector resolution is adequate to constitute a half-closed loop drive. With integral separation algorithm being introduced in the controller, the speed of numerical control system, track speed and positioning accuracy are guaranteed in order to achieve optimal specification for dynamic and static characteristics of the whole system.

Abstract: Aerospace industry or manufacturing industries might demand high class more-axis CNC machine tools for the high accuracy needs for machining. The multiaxis CNC machine development in simulation of the new model application seems to be necessary for the market. The main purpose of this paper is to study the mechanisms of new model multiaxis CNC machine tools and build process to develop the characteristics of machine tools. Through the computer simulation and graphic animation, users can observe their relationships of each movement on the new model multiaxis CNC machine tools. Using ADAMS to realize the motion commands and coordinate the kinematics is proposed. The prototype demonstrates the feasibility and kinematics analysis of new model five-axis CNC for real machine.

Abstract: In this paper, by using the method of Lagrange equation mechanics, a 3DOF common dynamic differential equation for four-axis wheeled vehicle is calculated. whats more, a basic handling math model of four-axis wheeled vehicle is obtained. The handling performance and stability simulation for two plans of one type of vehicle is finished by using the model completed, and the suggestion for optimal design plan is given. According to the test data of sample vehicle that has been validated, the model has a high credibility.

Abstract: This paper researches on Open Numerical Control System based on the PC platform, in which the motion controller works as the control core, can realize the multiaxis motion control in real time and the sequential logic control. This paper sets out from the hardware structure, use the Real-time trajectory interpolation algorithm, and choose the proper motion-control function. it can realize fast, stable and continuous movement with multistage path, and ensure that the system is open, real-time and reconfigurable.

Abstract: Binocular and parallel plate structure load cells are very successful designs for strain based measurements of shear loads. In this paper we use finite element methods (FEM) to investigate the suitability of these two load cell designs for use in a force plate and compare the sensitivity of these two force plates to that of the Heglund’s force plate. Each force plate is also sensitive to two moments with axis in the same plane as the force plate. If the force plate is to be used as a two component force-moment sensor, we determine which moment axis is best to use. Finally, a novel six-axis load cell is modelled by assembling three force plates together with rotational symmetry. The sensitivity of the six-axis load cell is calculated using FEM. Analysis of the six axis load cell predicts good measurement sensitivity and isotropy while maintaining low interference between measurement axes. Further benefits of the load cell design are discussed.

Abstract: Multi-axis CNC machining shows great advantages in manufacturing parts with geometries being defined by complex surfaces. NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) interpolation and polynomial interpolation are two new types of interpolation to improve productivity. Compared to the NURBS interpolation, the polynomial interpolation can gain higher productivity. However, no commercial software tool is available to generate polynomial interpolation CNC programs. This paper proposes a postprocessor to generate polynomial interpolation multi-axis CNC program. A case study with simulations demonstrated that the polynomial interpolation program generated by the proposed postprocessor has higher machining efficiency than liner interpolation and NURBS interpolation program.
